I had good experiences previously here but I feel duped and ripped off with this last visit. My son works across the street so it was always easy to just take his car to this place. He got an alternator in January from here and a week ago his car wouldn't start when he got off of work. The tow company jumps his car to get the key unstuck, so we knew it was alternator/battery related. 1st complaint, I was charged $350 for a wire diagnostics because the shop said they replaced the alternator that was under warranty but stated the lights would not come on and they need to check the wiring!!! I had the call them a couple of days later to check the status and was then told the battery was bad. The battery was under warranty with Autozone so we swapped it out. So as far as the lights not coming on, if the battery was dead, this is why!!! What a scam and not going back. This was not a $415 job. Stripped my lug nuts, and lost/broke my wheel cap. They didn't even offer lug nuts or nothing. Had to leave, go to the dealership to buy lug nuts. $70 to replace the ones the stripped. Not coming back read more

I contacted this shop on facebook for a wheel alignment, after arriving at the shop and waiting for my turn, aprox 2hours passed. I asked the muslim man in the counter when mine would be done, he proceeded to say. He couldn't do a wheel alignment on my car because of my spare. I asked for my keys back and he proceeded to have another conversation, i also explained the fact that i had asked about the spare prior to arrival, this guy was extremely unprofessional, it takes 2hours to let me know you cant do the job? Worst place ever, don't ever go here, every time they so called fixed something on my truck the mess some else up on it.., I have a 2012 Land Rover they did my upper and lower control arms in the rear, lateral arms and a wheel alignment.. they broke my brake wear sensor, twisted the boots on my lateral arms and they had my wheel going in at the top, which caused wear on the inside of my tires.., causing me to have to buy new tires, they denied everything as far as the alignment they fixed everything else. I would still strongly recommend that you DON'T GO HERE EVER!! Wouldn't even give it a star but I can post without at least giving them one smfh read more

Had my car towed there to have a flat tire replaced with a used one and have an oil change done. I go to pick up my car and the tire that I was given was bare. My bright lights and windshield wipers didn't work and I had two malfunction showing that weren't there before. One for brake fluid and one for my display. I confronted the store front about the issues and he simply stated how do we know it wasn't working before it was dropped off. He then suggested I pay for a diagnostic check to see if they can correct the issue. In addition when I mentioned how bare the tire was the store front claimed it passed inspection and when I asked who inspected it he stated he did. Shady business would not recommend. read more

Very disappointed in GUARANTEED TIRE AND AUTO SERVICE. We have two vehicles that needed service and decided to use them because one has a warranty that is partnered here. The first vehicle was having AC problems in April. It was fixed, however, 20 days after the service, the AC was going in and out again. We brought the vehicle back to the shop, but was told that they did not see a problem. After leaving with the vehicle again, we again started experiencing the issue after about two weeks. Brought the vehicle back to Guaranteed and now they want over a THOUSAND dollars to fix something that they either missed or they do minor fixes to put a band aide on the issue so that you are paying multiple diagnostic tests, multiple labor charges and added parts. I believe this is a scam to bring your car back over and over because they just did the same thing with an engine stalling problem on my second vehicle. please save some money. Went to this tire place last weekend 11/23/13. Needed to purchase 2 slightly used tires and have a back tire patched. This company has good prices. Went there paid $100 cash. Waited for 50 minutes almost an hour. I was the only woman there. Other customers came in before me and left before me. I kept asking the rude woman at the counter when was my care going to be done. She yelled at the guy in the back. After nearly 1 hour of waiting the repair man rudely said he wasn't going to rush for no one. As he showed his gold tooth to me. Complain about it being cold while repairing tires. I left and 1 hour later had to call them back and explained that the tire was making a loud noise as I drove it. He told me to come back and if he wasn't there to just wait for about 20 or 30 minutes. When I came back the second time I brought my boyfriend with me as we were preparing to attend a movie close by. These people were more rude this time around than ever. The woman said that it would be a 40 minute wait right off the back. Forget about the fact that they put a bad tire on my car in the first place. On top of that this woman couldn't believe that my boyfriend and I were together (she asked the question aloud then her mouth dropped open when I said yes we were together). When my boyfriend (who is an engineer and Caucasian) tried to talk to the repair man about the directions of the tire (my dad said the tire was going the wrong direction) the guy stated he didn't want to hear it but he would place 2 different tires on the car. How rude. Just when I thought things could not get any worse the repair guy yelled out that my boyfriend should pick out the tires himself since he knows so much. I became upset and informed the repair man and manager that it's the company's responsibility to select the correct tires and they needed to do their dam jobs since I had already paid $100. Turns out the wait was a full 1 hour instead of 40 minutes. I was so upset because I had waited 50 minutes earlier that same day. And they made sure we were the last customers to leave. Sure enough they had placed a bad tire on the left wheel. Not sure what made the repair man try to be more respectful to my white boyfriend but he did make some attempt to say sorry about the tire (it wasn't sincere and I tipped that guy $10 in the past). No one apologized about taking up our time. We should not have been made to wait a 2nd time because of their negligence!!! I had been coming to this shop for 13 years for tires when the father owned and managed it. Didn't see the owner there anymore. Looks like someone else is managing it now and it's just not the same. Now this place has gone downhill. I will never spend money in this place again. It appears they were being prejudice, rude, unprofessional and the customer service was just plain awful!!! If you are looking for a place with good prices and good customer service, keep on looking this is not the place. This was a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. read more

Went to purchase new tires and change out a control arm. They were quick and very efficient. Very friendly staff, treated me like family. Was welcomed in! Great hospitality while your car is being fixed. They quote you on other recommended changes for the future. You can't beat the prices either. Highly recommend to anyone! read more

During my lunch hour today, I drove to Guaranteed Tire to have one single tire replaced. I paid immediately and was told by the woman that the job would be done within 15 or 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I was relieved to finally see that the 2 trucks that they had been working on were completed and were backed out of the service bays; I was next in line. Before I could move my car into an open bay, 2 trucks entered the lot straight off of Abram St and parked in the empty bays. I saw them talk to the manager and service men who immediately began working on the trucks. I was confused so I entered the store to ask the woman at the front if there was some sort of reservation process. She said that there was not and went to the service bay to talk to the manager. She explained to him that I had already paid and had been waiting for quite some time. The manager then asked me what I needed done. Again, I explained that I simply needed one tire replaced and that I had been waiting almost 45 minutes. Rather than apologizing for the confusion and miscommunication, he proceeded to blame me for not coming to spell out exactly what I needed from him. I pointed out that I did not work there and that it was not my responsibility as I had already paid in full and was just instructed to wait. He shrugged, mumbled "We'll get to you next" and walked off. He clearly didn't care. To make matters worse, while my car was being serviced I saw the exact same thing happen to a poor guy who had been waiting just as long as I had waited. I had actually even seen this guy talking to the manager about which tires he needed replaced so it was obvious the manager knew he was there. He just didn't care. In Customer Service, refusing to apologize for an error, even (especially) when it isn't your own, is a sign of weakness. This establishment is run by a rude man who clearly doesn't value his customer base and doesn't feel it necessary to take responsibility or apologize for mistakes made on his watch. I will NOT be returning to this business. There are PLENTY of substitutes in the area and there has got to be at least one of them that runs a respectful operation. Only giving 2 stars because the tire tech was nice and told me to have a good day. read more

Alright. If you live in the Arlington, Tx area, the best tire place I have ever been to is here. It is called Guaranteed Tire, and it's on the corner of Abram and Sherry, just West of highway 360. We have been coming here for years, and the combination of good price and fantastic customer care, as well as character and honesty, make it great. If you must get a tire fixed or replaced, I couldn't give a stronger recommendation. That said, flat tire at 8 a.m. = JOY! read more

Have had the shop do maintemance and work on my daughter's Mazda...I drive an AWD Audi Cabriolet that needed water pump/thermostat, oil pump and control arms replaced...when my Audi dealer quoted me a crazy # in excess of $4000, I decided to check with ownership and get a pulse of their confidence to do the repairs. Without hesitation, they ordered the parts from Audi (not the aftermarket route), got all repairs done in the time frame promised, and did it for 1/2 of what dealer was charging! I recommend them highly for auto service and recommend even stronger if you drive a high $$ vehicle that carries high $$ repairs..thanks again for helping my family keep my money in my household!! read more

Was looking for a place to air my tires up for days. I stopped at 7 eleven next door and it ate my quarters. So, went on over to this place. The woman gladly took us, air in my tires. Then said its going to be 3 dollars. I was like what? my bf was a little taken back. He has worked in a shop before and never had to charge people for air, I have been to discount tire co and never was charged. Guess being and individual place not corporate means charging for air is how it goes. NEVER going there again. She just looked rude. read more

The review I read from Phillip A. described the owner PERFECTLY! I brought my SUV to his shop last Saturday and bought 4 tires from him. I also had his technicians put them on. When my vehicle was ready, I paid and left. At NO time did anybody tell me they had encountered any kind of problem with my SUV. I stopped about 10 minutes down the road to have my SUV inspected and saw that they had completely sheared off one of the lugs on my front driver-side wheel. I was appalled that they didn't bother to mention this to me!. I went immediately back to the business, and they admitted that they broke it off, but the old man, who is apparently the owner, said I would have to pay for it! He said it wasn't his responsibility!!!! I can't understand how a mistake that one of his technicians made while changing out my tire makes this MY RESPONSIBILITY!! I plan on issuing a complaint with the BBB, as well as filing a claim in small claims court. I realize there is a small fee when filing a claim in small claims court, but I hate being taken advantage of. The small fee is worth it! read more
