Guido's Pizza is always a grand slam. Fast delivery, great staff. My favorite pizza spot.

One of my fondest memories is of eggplant topped pizza from Angelo & Vinci's in Fullerton (which sadly has closed). It was breaded and fried...similar to eggplant parmesan without the tomato sauce. Much to my surprise Guido's had eggplant parmesan as a topping. I asked to make sure it was breaded and fried. The manager assured me it was. Well, Guido's eggplant pizza is awesome. The eggplant is lightly fried and not at all greasy. Nice meaty and moist texture. Fantastic. The pizza they serve is a real value too. I ordered the Large with eggplant. It was $22.25 (tax included). I had 1/4 of the pizza and was full. That works out to be about $5.60 per meal...a real bargain! read more

Full disclosure, I'm a Pizza Snob, I have very high standards. Ordered the Family Dinner, included extra large pizza, a pasta, salad and calzones. The cheese pizza was cooked on the darker side, very cheesy, regular crust with a decent flavor. For pasta, the baked cheese ravioli was the best item. A bit more mozzarella cheese on top for my taste but the sauce was tasty, larger than average ravioli and just enough ricotta inside. The salad I was alright and the calzone was stuffed with cheese. The order was fast and ready for pick up on time in 30 minutes on a Friday night. There are only 2 tables inside. $50 for a family meal of 4, pretty awesome. For the price, willing to check out other options. read more

I forgot to mention in previous reviews, when you ask for extra pepperoni, be prepared for EXTRA pepperoni. Having ordered from primarily chains over the years, I have become accustomed to ordering extra pepperoni and looking at the pizza like, what? this is extra pepperoni? Seems like there's barely a difference. Not so with Guidos. They put so much it falls off when you are eating! Never have this happen with the chain places. Still highly recommend. read more

Hey y'all this place is a gem. Found this authentic Italian place hole in the wall in Sylmar. The food is as authentic as you can get. And the best part is it very reasonable. Portions for pasta dinner can feed 2-3 people easily. I love the chicken parmigiana. Their pizza is also superb. They have their own delivery. I live that there's no extra added fees. read more

OK, I used to order food for pick up here often. TBH I normally go to Carusos these days (about 2 miles away) which has very good food but can get a bit expensive, especially if you're getting drinks! After looking over their menu on Yelp! I decided to give Guidos another try. I was in the mood for spaghetti and meatballs. Which is about $19 at Caruso's. I saw it on the menu here for $8.75. Yeah well... that was a long time ago. Since then, the price has risen over 100%. Basically, the same price as Carusos at $18.00. Big mistake on my behalf though because Caruso has really large homemade meatballs and a really excellent flavorful red sauce. Guidos does not. They claimed theirpasta is homemade, and it may be. The pasta was acceptable... The meatballs were small and not good. Carusos, you get toasted garlic bread made on their homemade bread. Guidos you get one of those really low quality rolls that everyone hates. You know those light, airy, flavorless, cheep grocery store rolls with sesame seeds. No bueno. Carusos you get a dinner salad with chickpeas, cheese, a banana pepper. Guidos you get iceberg lettuce, and a slice of tomato. OK so to be fair the pizza if I remember correctly was decent. And I have previously ordered lasagna and thought it was good. But I wonder if I tried it again today if these would hold up. The service was acceptable, and there is no ambience. There may be one table that you can sit at. So this is not a dine in experience. So I will just compare apples to apples... The bottom line is for the same price of a really good Italian restaurant, you're getting fair to low quality food. read more

Omar came out to the counter to confirm my order, and just showed it to me to make sure it was what I wanted. Large portions which always tastes great (and usually left overs). Parking could be better and the location is so tiny, with COVID they only allow two people inside. Totally understandable. I ordered potato skins, pepperoni pizza and wings. The potato skins are to die for! They are topped with perfections and cooked to the right amount of crisp! The pizza was made as ordered with light sauce - my food always tastes 10x better when it is made as requested. The staff is all so friendly and welcoming!
