Absolutely fantastic sandwich shop! The ingredients are fresh, the bread perfectly baked, and every bite is packed with flavor. I usually get the pesto chicken panini, my all time favorite! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent service. The shop is always clean and has a great atmosphere. Portions are generous and well worth the price. Years ago, I tried this place and remember it being a lot better. The Panini is nice and crispy. This time I ordered the Works. It is supposed to be chicken, but it smells like a tuna sandwich. This is most likely due to the chicken being canned. The flavor was not the same as I remembered. I would have given then an easy 4 stars before but only a 2 now. Very disappointing. The prices aren't bad, the sandwich is filling, but it's just meh. Won't be going back. read more

Our favorite sandwich place in Sylmar. They have the best chicken sandwiches, bbq salads and penne Maria. Service is very fast and efficient. The place has a very casual vibe. Came here on a Saturday I ordered over the phone, my food was ready as soon as I arrived! Very clean space. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and my partner got the Pesto Chicken Panini. The Chicken Caesar Wrap was very delicious! The dressing was perfect along with the Parmesan! I had seen they also put croutons in the wrap but I didn't see any. The other brother has been working as Front House and Floor management in the food service industry since 2004. He also has specialized in Italian Cuisine and customer service. The owner and Chef of Sylmars Fix, started in the industry in 1993 working in many different aspects of food service. I heard of this place by a friend, she said it was somewhere i could eat good and healthy. So i decided to stop by since i was around. I was immediately greeted by a nice lady. The place was not to crowded but i looked at what people where eating at it looked delicious. I decided to go with the Chicken cilantro panini which i swear could have not been a better choice. It is way richer in taste than Chipotle and almost no grease what so ever. I was a little bummed that it wasn't bigger but i guess it is suppose to be for weight watchers being next to te old Golds Gym and all. Well i was leaving here without trying more of their menu so dessert it was!! You would not guess it from the outside, but this place is really great. I have been coming here for quite some time now. The food always tastes great. It is normally a bit busy whenever I go so I got used to calling in advance to place my order. My food is ready within a couple minutes of me getting there. Location is hidden, I've tried explaining to a couple people where it is at and have even driven down Sayre and tried to point it out and some people are still not sure where it is. A true Gem in Sylmar is no joke. If you want great fresh food you have to try the Fixx. They have breakfast, panini's wraps, salads and a fresh juice and smoothie bar. Everything is made on the spot. It is an inspiring menu and the two brothers who own the place are very nice and inviting. It is a laid back atmosphere with a t.v. to watch music, sports or what ever you request. Sylmar's fix is located on a corner where there is a large sign for the Mercado Neighborhood Market on the building. Parking can be really busy in this area and you may have to have a short walk, but I got lucky the sidewalk was empty right next to the store. I would only have to say that the street and sidewalk are pretty dirty with litter so just watch your step. I ordered the Color Me Green Juice and the Chicken Pesto Panini for myself, and the Penne Alfredo Pasta for a friend and took them to go. My Chicken Pesto Panini tasted amazing! The chicken is chopped up into smaller pieces which allows the sauce to be all over inside the sandwich so you get an equal amount of sauce and chicken with every bite. I love the bread it's crunchy but easy to bite into and this sandwich was VERY fulfilling! The Color Me Green Juice is very delicious, freshly made and all I did when I got home was add some ice to make it colder. I was lucky my friend let me have some of the Penne Alfredo Pasta because WOW, that is the creamiest Alfredo pasta I've ever had! That was so warm and tasty! The only problem with this place is that it's on my driving route many days of the week so they might be seeing a whole lot more of me there in the future!!!!!
