First time visiting today after following them on IG since they opened. OBSESSED! I read their reviews as I was waiting for my food and I got a little worried about the negative reviews but I can confidently say those reviews must've been left by their competition bc my food today was amazing! So flavorful. I work in a city (starts w a G ends w a -dale) that is known for many Armenian eateries/bbq and I definitely think this might be the best I've tried so far. I waited 15 mins but that's because everything was cooked fresh on the spot. The flavors on the bbq chicken and the veggies are sooo craveable. I had a chicken kabob plate here. Their pita bread was moldy..... I was starving and hadn't eaten all day and I really wanted to just eat so I put the bread off to the side and with eating around the area that it was placed.... (Gross, I know). The fries were freezer burnt and stale, disgusting enough to where I spit them out. The chicken was dry and way too salty to be enjoyable or edible for that matter.... Now let's get into the food, because that's where this place truly shines. I ordered the beef kebab plate and it came beautifully presented with fluffy white rice, grilled tomato, and a fresh side salad. The beef kebab itself was juicy, flavorful, and clearly made from real quality meat! The texture, the seasoning, the char on the outside, and the tenderness on the inside all scream fresh, real beef, cooked perfectly. You can taste the quality immediately, this is not processed, mystery meat by any means. It's well-seasoned, grilled just right, and incredibly satisfying. Each bite had that perfect balance of smokiness and savory flavor, and the portion size was generous. The rice was light and fluffy, the grilled tomato added a nice charred saltiness, and the grilled jalapeno added the spice it needed!Everything on the plate worked together really well. This is the kind of meal that leaves you full but happy! Not heavy or greasy. I also have to highlight the hummus and pita bread itself, because they deserve their own moment. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, not overly garlicky or bland like you sometimes get elsewhere. You can tell it's made fresh, the texture was silky and rich, with a well-balanced flavor that didn't overpower the rest of the meal. The pita bread was warm, soft, and fluffy, and thin, perfect for scooping up the hummus without falling apart. Together, they made the perfect starter and really set the tone for the quality of the food overall. Simple, comforting, and done right! To drink, I tried one of their traditional Armenian sodas in the barberry flavor. Which was such a fun and unique touch. It was refreshing, lightly sweet, and paired really well with the savory flavors of the kebab. They also have a great variety of other flavors available. It's clear they put thought into offering drinks that complement their food and reflect their culture, and it's refreshing to see! Another thing worth mentioning is that they also offer catering platters, which is perfect if you're feeding a group or hosting an event. After trying the food myself, I can absolutely see why this would be a great catering option! High-quality meat, generous portions, super affordable, and flavors that will please a crowd. Overall, if you're looking for a place that serves genuinely good kebabs with care and pride, this is it. I was really looking forward to trying this new kebab place since it just opened nearby. I love Mediterranean food, so I had high hopes, but the meal was pretty disappointing. The kebab had a strange, spongy texture, and the rice was soggy and bland. Even the hummus, which is usually my favorite part, didn't have much flavor. I really wanted to like this spot and support a new local business, but the food just wasn't enjoyable. Hopefully things work out, because I'd love to see them do well, but I don't think I'll be going back. read more

Really good food really good service. The guys are working there are very helpful. The food is delicious. They serve all kinds of different Armenian barbecue with rice or french fries my most favorite one is the beef and the pork belly but I've tried also liver which is really good. read more

The Food tastes very good but the portions are very small compared to other mediterranean restaurants nearby, just for one plate is going to cost 15$+ and the amount of hummus you get is a few tablespoons at best and some thin flatbread, if the portions were a bit bigger for the sides I would come back more often. read more

Went last week too try . I tried the beef skew, it was nasty and had no flavor and it felt like there was no meat in the middle . It tasted like sausage. One of the worst plates I have gotten . Being that we don't have any Mediterranean food spots In Sylmar, I was really hoping that this place would be good. We want to support new local businesses and the employees are friendly and restaurant is clean. Unfortunately, was disappointed with the food, the lule style beef and chicken kebabs had a spongy texture and did not taste much like meat. The kebabs and the tomato were also very salty. I came here because of the great reviews and impressive Instagram videos, but unfortunately the food really missed the mark for me. The texture of both the beef and chicken didn't taste quite right, and they even looked almost identical. For a Middle Eastern restaurant, I was surprised that they didn't have basics like sumac -- but they did have mayonnaise and Tapatío, which felt very out of place.
