Never had Ameci pizza but always heard it was good "fast food" pizza. Or was okay for me. We ordered just a pepperoni pizza and the bbq wings with a Cesar salad. The pizza tasted good but was too thin. It was nothing great. The wings were pretty big and generously drizzled with bbq sauce. The Cesar salad was a good size for it serving two people. The place itself is spacious and plenty of seating. There's parking in the front and the back. I'm not sure if I'll give Ameci another shot but I think I can just cross this off my list. Pizzas should be filled with ingredients in general . I wanted to support local but the pizza is a no go unless you pay extra . They also didn't place the right dressings I asked for . Get their saladas I really enjoyed mine . Maybe go and order inside delivery isn't the best choice. I really liked another pizza spot by Glenn-oaks and Osborne. read more

I was checking for a pizza place near where my wife was working in Sylmar this evening. A two minute walk from the Rite Aid is a pizza place called Ameci. I ordered a 10" individual chicken pesto pizza to go. It was ready in 10 minutes. I love the chicken and pesto combination. Unfortunately, the dough did not match to pesto sauce, chicken and cheese on the pizza. The dough had no flavor and lacked the crunch. This is not a NY style pizza. This is for delivery jumbo 3 topping with pepperoni x2 and extra cheese, garlic cheese rolls, and the garlic bread. The pizza was great. My kids are surprisingly picky when it comes to pizza, for example they HATE Guidos. But they loved Ameci, The garlic cheese balls were a hit. They were ok but because of an issue with how long delivery took, the cheese had melted out of them so there was only a little left in each roll. They are probably amazing eating sit down. The garlic bread was just okay. Standard french bread with a little garlic butter. Could have used Ore garlic butter. I won't ding them for this but I strongly advise against ordering delivery through Yelp. The driver kept getting lost and I had no way to contact them to help through the app unlike other delivery apps. Instead of 7:00 arrival, I watched the driver live in the app driving all around m y gated community but not to me until 7:30. And they never stopped so they weren't handling multiple orders. They apologized when they got here saying they hadn't noticed the directions I provided. Recommend the pizza for sure. Will review again next time we order. read more

I called the DAY BEFORE and spoke to Marcus, he helped me with cost estimates and even changed up the slices to squares. He paid attention - so much that I had to come leave this review. Took my order in advance and it came as they said it would. Well made, still piping hot and everyone enjoyed it so much that it ended up being a good thing I ordered one more. I went with 5 Gigantic pizzas - 2 deluxe, 2 pepperoni, 1 mushroom Canadian bacon and 1 Jumbo Veggie. In the end we had less than a box left which people asked to take home with them, it was really that good. Just a heads up, there's no seating here, but it's perfect for pickup and delivery. I was impressed with the pizza but now wish we had paid more attention to what we had been eating. When going for the sandwich, the lettuce was in chucks instead of slices and tomato was really thick, so we decided to rearrange everything. Then we discovered the bad meat we were about to eat. So incredibly gross. They also knew better, so that's incredibly effed up to know how little they care about their establishment let alone their clientele. This place has been here for years and the customer service is good and I always enjoy their pizza and wings. Their pasta and salad are good too. I like how they offer specials and how I get a text to let me know when my delivery is picked up, on the way, and there. The delivery people are always nice and it usually comes quickly! Ameci pizza makes the best taking pizza dough I've ever had. It's one of those pizzas that you eat to the very last crumb because it's that good! We've tried all of their special pizzas and our favorites are the Mediterranean pizza and the Deluxe pizza. We also love ordering the Calzone. It's so perfectly cooked and delicious every time. The hot wings are also out of this world good, perfectly crispy and drenched in sauce! They are super generous with the toppings on any pizza you order and their quality and flavors are super consistent every time. Last week I had ordered from door dash and the dasher forgot to bring our hot wings. I called the store and he had one of his drivers bring it to our house immediately. Domino's on Maclay. Pizza Hut on Maclay. Domino's on Foothill. Pizza Hut on Glenoaks (who WON'T deliver to me but they're my #2 behind Ameci's) which is good but isn't AMECI'S good. So here's the story. My wife wanted pizza, but that's not really anything new. She always talks about Ameci's (she calls it A me ees because when she was a kid that's what the logo looked like to her, but I digress) so I tell her there was an Ameci's in Sylmar but I haven't eaten there in YEARS. Honestly I thought it was closed. So I look online, and low and behold, there's my old friend. I remembered ordering a small pizza and a turkey sandwich way back when I used to get delivery, probably 20 years ago. Check out the menu, there is a lot to choose from! We ordered a large deluxe special for $17.99, garlic cheese rolls, some boneless wings, a turkey sandwich and some potato wedges, because doesn't EVERYONE love potato wedges? Either way it was way too much food but it was all delicious!!!! My wife commented that the dough was very good both in the pizza and garlic cheese rolls. The potato wedges were great and the boneless wings had a lot of chicken and weren't all breading. We enjoyed it all and had leftovers for the next day. We ordered for takeout. Tried their Hawaiian pizza, meatball, spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. I liked their pizza. It has rich flavor, lots of toppings, not very salty. Meatballs are delish. I will order it again. My daughter likes the spaghetti, it's better with cheese though. The lasagna was ok too, but lacking flavor. Seems like their pizzas are good, with pasta, I'll try the others and see if they are good. But will order the meatballs again and maybe try the other pizzas to see how they are. read more

Had always seen this place when k drive and thought today is the day. But yeah, not so much. Only a two star because the pizza was... alright. DEFinitely not worth the price charged. The pasta as soon as I opened the container just didn't smell right but gave it a chance and tried it... no flavor and had an off taste. So I thought maybe with parmesan cheese... helped some but was just a hard PASS. The garlic bread was tough and the cheese on one side, not a huge deal but a little disappointing. Taste wise it's okay just very tough to chew ( like when you beat bread in the microwave and it gets hard to bite). The pizza was by far the best thing but still pretty bland as far as taste goes.
