    Cheesesteak
    Alex B.

Don't give out the 5 stars lightly, but this place can do nothing wrong in my mind. If we are talking about the best cheesesteaks, cutlets, or pizza in bucks county, Guidos better be part of that conversation. I don't think you can make a poor choice here, but I have some strong recommendations for you. "James Bond" with your choice of cutlet, best of every world and you can not go wrong. Cheesesteak with american, mushroom, onions, and a long hot (literal friggin perfection forget about it). The brooklyn loveboat pizza, a thin sicilian pie, with pepperoni, fresh basil, and a drizzel of honey (has one of the best crunches you will find in bucks).

Look at that meat and cheese stuffed into the sandwich. Yum.

Folks what can I say. Service was on point for dine in. Walked up ordered The Yunk off of the specialty hoagies menu and took a seat. Cool small dining area. Lots of vibrant art on the walls. Nice serving bar area with peppers and other fixings. Along with napkins and such. Took a seat and out comes the food. The sandwich was amazing. Everything worked so well together. I got mine with no veggies and make no apologies. I wanted to taste the meat and the cheese. And also the bread. It was a winner for sure.

I had really high hopes for Guido's, but I was disappointed in both sandwiches I tried. The beef cheesesteak was overflowing with meat and wasn't drippy at all. The seeded roll was fresh and excellent, but the meat itself was bland and did not have enough cheese mixed in. The one thing that was odd was the temperature of the meat. It was blazing hot and took quite awhile to cool down. I could only eat half. Just a miss for me. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was on the same type of seeded roll. The temperature of the meat was insane. Even into the second half of the sandwich 15 mins later the meat was still extremely hot. The chicken was cut up in small/fine portions. Cheese and hot sauce were ok, but were shut out by the temperature of the meat. The seeded roll was again fresh and delicious. My kid had the chicken tender platter with crinkle cut fries at $9.50. He reported they were good. All drinks are a flat $3. I may make a return trip to try a cutlet sandwich and/or and Italian hoagie, but my experience has been big portions and not big on flavor (their website does state 100% ribeye and 100% Young Chicken Breast Shaved on site). At $13.50 for 11" cheesesteaks your getting quantity for sure. The inside is clean and the staff was nice. Their menu is extensive with the majority of it being sandwiches. Most of the menu has a main meat (sliced rib eye steak, shaved chicken breast, sliced NY strip steak, chicken cutlet) with several flavor combinations/ingredients. They also have hoagies, burgers and wraps. I liked their condiment bar. They have several tables that seat four and a couple of large round tables inside. There are also few tables for two out front along the sidewalk. Considering the area this is one of the better sandwich shops you'll find.

I tend to eat pretty healthy. But, when I'm in the food mood for a hoagie, cheesesteak or chicken sandwich, Guidos is my go to. The "Scarfo" is my absolute favorite - chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, share provolone and add a long hot! Yum! My son always orders the cheese steak and it eats the entire sandwich. The sandwich is always fresh and hot when picked up. The order is ready pretty quickly too.

Heard this place was very good decided to give it a try. Used Uber eats and ordered/craved a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Reminded me of Gaetano's which used to be in the area. Huge sized sandwich, very good seeded roll. The chicken chopped fine which is how I like it. My only issue was there wasnt any blue cheese and barely any hot sauce. I just added my own of both.... Shouldnt have to for a 16.00 sandwich. Update - reached out to owner and got immediate response and he offered to make it right. Changing to four stars incredible customer service!!! Went from 3 to 4 stars.

Was heading to parx and wanted lunch. Friend told me to head over to guidos. Ordered the little Joey. Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and nice balsamac glaze. Being from nyc and Italian bread if a huge thing for a sandwhich and this didn't miss. Some of the best bread I have ever had. They are not cheap with the amount that gets stacked into the sandwich. The chicken was so crispy. The only missing I would say is the bread crumb was just plain. It brought this sandwich down cause I would have liked a little more flavor. I will bet stop back again to get something else next time

Small parking area in front; strong Philly vibe! Extensive cheesesteak options. I went with the "Franky Cheech" (mushroom, fried o's, longhots, aged provolone) on a sesame seeded torpedo, that may have been Liscio's. The shop itself was brightly painted with large sports mural on one wall. Service was equally bright and cheery and patient while I eyed the list of names and descriptions of the steak and cutlet sandwiches. It was still hot when I unwrapped it at the kitchen table. I cut it into quarters to share with lovely bride, squirted a thin stream of ketchup on top and dove in. First bite told the tale. Large load of chopped beef mixed with onions and longhots with cheese across the bottom. It was steamy as I took the plunge; fogging my glasses instantly. Taste was quite good and the ingredients revealed themselves to my tongue. The ketchup did add a nice tartness, even though I knew I was breaking the rules about adulterants. Didn't care. My meal after all. Would definitely run back for another. Surprised the drive was less than 20 minutes.

This is considered half a cheesesteak sandwich

My family brought me home half a cheesesteak sandwich from here. It was huge! The meat was juicy but I think the provolone cheese melted into the sandwich because I couldn't see or taste much of it. I could only eat half of it. It was very filling.

After a long time my brother was harping on me to try this place, me and my wife finally did. Guido's Steaks in Bensalem. Me and the wife each had a slice of the Brooklyn Pie and that was excellent. Fantastic crust, perfect cheese ratio and a wonderful sauce. We also split the Humongous 22 inch meat missile with Cooper Sharp and fried onions. When they brought it out it looked comically large, but it tasted excellent. The roll was perfectly crisp but soft and gave way without falling apart. The abundantly cheesy, well seasoned meat was laden throughout, and it made a very good cheese steak. If I lived anywhere in this area it would be a regular stop for sure.

Make sure you're hungry! Big portions. We ordered the Zio Franco meatball sandwich and a Cheesesteak with Cooper sharp, grilled onions, mushrooms, peppers and long hots! Both were absolutely delicious. I also had some hot sauce on the cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was a large and could probably feed three... I had half for dinner the next night; it reheated perfectly. Don't miss their self-branded sodas.. tried the root beer and ginger ale. Smooth.

Hard to believe I've never heard of this place until recently. Cute shop. I'm really big into sandwiches and this place has every sandwich you can think of. "Johnny long hots" in fairless hills has a similar menu, but I have to say, the bread on the sandwiches is better, the spice was just right, and this place is closer to me . We got the chipotle chicken steak. Great portion (11in)! They have a 22in but that's a little too big for just two people. The service was pretty quick, hopefully it's that quick during football season! Can't wait to try more sandwiches.

The corned beef hoagie at Marinucci's Deli is incomparable. It is layered with paper thin slices that are rich but never heavy. The dressing is balanced, the coleslaw adds a nice tang, and the shredded lettuce brings a fresh crunch that ties it all together. That's not enough. If you're from Philly you know that none of the above matters if your bread sucks. Well... Marinucci's offers seeded and unseeded rolls that are incredible. Please join me in thanking baby Buddha for this crusty, chewy yet fluffy vessel of perfection. The hoagie is massive, about the length of two of my hands long, and consistently excellent from first bite to last. When I first unrolled the hoagie my immediate thoughts were that I would never finish this in one sitting. I was right but you do you boo. The service matches the quality. It is an old school deli line that moves fast, with orders handled quickly and accurately even during a rush. Key word is ACCURATELY. Who knew that in 2026 whether or not a business can make your order accurately would be a thing but here we are. It's an important mention because this little detail tells me that they actually give AF. Ambiance: think classic Philly deli but without the attitude or aggression. Room to stand and wait for your order without feeling cramped, as I was doing as my two hot sandwiches were working. These were taken to go, so when I opened the brown bag at home, I found neatly packaged long torpedo sammies (Boardwalk Sweet Sausage, Pepper and Onion/Eggplant Parm) in separate recyclable styro containers. Naturally, the enclosed bread absorbed some condensation so they were no longer dry and a crunchy bite, but were still delicious. Quality Italian sausage complemented well with the sweet and savory sauteed veggies. Eggplant breaded lightly and pan fried in extra virgin before placed in the roll with mozza and tomato sauce on top, and baked in the pizza oven until all melted into a savory layered tasty ensemble. I bought two to share, and everyone was happy, even the next day when reheated. Service was friendly and casual, and prices reminiscent of pre-pandemic days.
