They very polite people. They can be very busy at times but if you're there to see Billy Jo or the Dr. Higa then it's worth the wait.

Because travel to simply discuss the results of the MRI would require 100 miles of driving, I was granted a phone visit. In the course of the phone call, no mention of a co-payment ever occurred. From previous experience with other medical providers, it was reasonable for me to assume that TOI would not again bill me to simply provide me with the results of testing that I paid dearly for, but if they did again require a co-payment, they would notify me at the time of service which is customary of all businesses, including those of a medical nature. In December, 2025, I received a surprise letter from a collections agency demanding the past due payment of $40 for the June 4 visit. That letter was the first notification of any kind of an amount due that I had received. I immediately called TOI and was transferred to a representative from the TOI Business Office who falsely claimed that TOI had mailed billing statements in June, July, and August. She told me the dates of the statements and confirmed my address. I questioned why it was that the collections agency could successfully mail a single demand letter and I would receive it, yet three TOI statements somehow got lost in the mail. She insisted that they were mailed. I paid the $40 to the the representative during that phone call and demanded evidence that TOI had mailed statements. Soon, I received three printed statments in a single envelope from the TOI Business Office in Dallas. The representative had simply printed them from her computer, and highlighted the dates on the three printouts as if that was somehow proof that they had actually been mailed. During the call with the representative, she also stated that the statements were available on my patient portal. It then took a call to TOI for me to setup a password for that portal, and I verified that yes, there were PDF copies of statements there. Yet, I had received no notifications by email, text, phone, mail, or otherwise that the payment was due. Who logs onto some patient portal just to check to see if there might be some payment due? That is not how billing has ever worked in the United States, and I have things to do other than recreationally check patient portals for bills. For the poor business practices of TOI, I give them one star. First off, TOI should have discussed any amounts due at the time the medical service was provided way back on June 4th. After failing at that, TOI had endless opportunities to notify me by mail, phone call, text, or email, and I would gladly have paid the amount due. Finally, one would think that a representative from the billing department of the Business Office could be trained to understand that a PDF file viewed on a computer is not evidence that a statement had been mailed. If it had been mailed, I surely would have received at least one of the three allegedly mailed statements, and I would have taken prompt action to pay it, just as I did once I received a demand letter from a collection agency that was truly mailed. If you enjoy being treated as a deadbeat by TOI and a collection agency for not paying bills you weren't notified were due, then ignore my one star review.

Tim B found me a gurney finally, to lay on before they took me upstairs. Upstairs, was actually clean. You have no privacy in the ER speaking about your medical problems. Ever hear of Hepa Law? I am sure my poor roommate loved to hear, all about about my colon infection, how much diaherra, and gas, etc. The Dr's and Nurses are working their behinds off and they are not the problem. They are very professional. Amy Perry the CEO for Banner Health made 5.64 MILLION. Hey, Amy how about hiring some janitorial help? I post photos of how dirty the ER is. Shame, Shame! I was in the Er back room waiting for a room upstairs for 24 hrs. I never saw one room patients used, being disinfectanted or mopped, after the patient left. Instead, they only dust mopped. The bathroom was, so filthy across from us, my 84 yr roommate walked to another corridor to use the restroom by a nurses station. After, I saw it's condition, I wouldn't use it, either. I have seen cleaner gas station floors. They just throw trash on the floors like the medication bottle that was next to me for over 24 hrs, not mine. This is a machine next to the bathroom just covered in some brown film and looked liked like a rag attempted to wipe it down. This is not acceptable with what insurance companies are paying. GROSS,GROSS,GROSS Yelp only has room for two photos. I will be contacting the Hospital Accreditation Board to show them all the other photo's. This is a disgrace. Er rating 0 . But I have to put a one star to post. This needs to change.

Thats where the good ends. This hospital is absolutely filthy. My son sat in triage for about an hour, and then they were moving him into a room. When we got there, the room consisted of four chairs divided by a very thin curtain. We were able to hear every single thing that the medical team was saying to the patient on the other side of the curtain. When it came time for them to Talk to my son about some of his results, I stopped the doctor immediately and told him he needed to take him somewhere private to speak about his healthcare. We then had a nurse (who I'm pretty sure was new to the hospital), come in drop and blood dropped on the blood on the floor, cleaned it up with a wet wipe, and then sat the rest of it on a chair for some time. And let's not forget the urine that was left on the sink from both patients. Even after the patient next to my son left, her urine sat there until we left (and there was already a new patient on the other side of the curtain). We were there 7 1/2 hours sitting in these horrific chairs. This hospital really needs to do better. I was mortified when the healthcare team continued coming in to this incredibly non-private room to discuss extremely sensitive issues with my son! Anyone heard of HIPPA?

I lived in Gilbert, Az but decided to take the drive out to Tucson az. Which was a couple hour drive . I got to my appointment , staff greeted me . Everyone was so nice . It was for an consult which I was nervous about and Dr Taki came in the room took his time to go over what I wanted and what he felt would work out for me . Answered all my questions also asked my fiancé if he had any questions and answered all his question . Was not in a rush . Told me the difference in implants etc . I was so comfortable and happy with the consult I decided to schedule an appointment for my surgery . Surgery was one of the most scariest but best experiences I've ever had . Every one of his staff made me feel comfortable , I express to them I was so scared and they all made me feel better by comforting me , I got out of surgery and still everyone was so nice and made sure I had what I needed to be ready for my ride home , we drove home as we reached our drive way a phone call from Dr Taki checking on me . Literally the best Dr I have had in my life . Best decision I made ! I got Breast implants that I love . I got them back in 2012 and they are still wonderful , I love them . I have referred a few friends from Hawaii and to have gotten breast implants from him and they also loved his work . I have since them moved back to Hawaii but want to return to Dr Taki to get another procedure done soon . I look forward to visiting this office again . I went in expecting to go from a GGG to a DD breast reduction and instead was left with an A cup. This was never what I asked for or agreed to. When I contacted his office with concerns after surgery and asked what happened, his response was, "Oh, I guess I took off too much." That statement alone was horrifying. Approximately 14 pounds were removed, leaving me feeling mutilated instead of helped. The outcome was not only emotionally traumatic, but physically damaging as well. One of my areolas was inverted and looks terrible, and my nipples became painfully hypersensitive afterward. These are life-altering complications that have affected my confidence, comfort, and quality of life every single day. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told I had to wait an entire year before they would even discuss correcting the problems. Then after that year passed, he wanted to charge me even more money to put in implants -- something I never wanted in the first place. I went in for a reduction, not to end up needing implants to repair the damage that was done. After already paying $10,000, I was shocked by the lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism. The scarring is severe, and he has refused to properly correct his mistakes. I trusted this man with my body, and I deeply regret it. This experience has been physically and emotionally devastating, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

Let me say that this man appears to be a UNICORN in the world of medicine. His reading of the MRI, that she got through the other Dr, was in stark contrast to what the other Dr. had said which was, "You need surgery." We are so grateful to have been introduced to him. She will not be having surgery and after asking him about PT, he told her it was not necessary and that she could go out and play tennis (slowly) and just listen to her body. His honesty and candor were so refreshing in the field of medicine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He did a bunch of X-rays and discovered that my issue was not as dire as thought. After an injection in my shoulder, he sent me on my way with a follow up in 2 months to ensure the problem had resolved itself.
