My 2 year old KitchenAid dishwasher started throwing a drain error. I could get it intermittently to drain so scheduled service. The tech ran diagnostic and in that mode made it drain. After a few tries in normal mode it stopped draining much like it does for me. The tech concluded that my board must be the issue and told me a new dishwasher is a better bet. He never checked any of the boards voltages or even looked at said board. When he left I priced out a board and a pump. I bought both and tried the board first. It did not fix the issue. The pump however did. I'm upset because I spent over 180 dollars to get a wrong diagnosis and then bought a part based on that which I didn't need. I was right in the first place that it was the pump. Why should I even be paying for such crappy service when I ended up sleuthing it myself and fixing it? I don't often give bad reviews but this is why we usually are DIYers and I will continue to be such. I basically got robbed of my cash and my time with no resolution. read more

Guinco performed warranty repair on my Whirlpool refrigerator, after the company I bought it from could not provide warranty service. Guinco was very good about notifying me, in advance of the schedule, and the technician, Andre, arrived right on time. He quickly diagnosed the issue, arranged an order for the part, which he said would take two weeks to obtain. Exactly two weeks later, he, again, arrived on time and completed the repair. Very efficient, very professional, and nice people to work with. Probably one of the best warranty repair experiences I have had. Good job! read more

I have a broken microwave that started sparking every time I turned it on. I got in contact with the manufacturer and they set up an appointment with Guinco for diagnosis and repair. James Osborn was the technician that was sent for the repair. He helped to diagnose the issue and helped order the replacement parts. He did a fantastic job and we are very satisfied. read more

The Technician-Efrain, was awesome! He took the time to review all of our past issues and explain the reasoning on why certain things affected others-very patient and knowledgeable. Four years ago we purchased an expensive Kitchenaid French Door refrigerator, that we've had issues with from day one. We had a previous company service the fridge on several occasions, but issues would resurface a couple months later. Because issue was related to warranty coverage, went with Guinco on recommendation from Whirlpool and couldn't be happier with results. I credit Efrain with finding the root cause of all of our issues and resolving them!! Thanks to Efrain we now have both fridge and freezer staying cold and ice maker working properly! This company was hired by our extended Warranty Company to come replace a Freezer Door that was leaking water from the inside out. They came out made some calls & ordered a New Door. Well 8 weeks later they come out to swap doors, Not only did they Break the shut off valve to the water on the Fridge, they took the new door handle, plate on ice dispenser & Ice Container, left us with the old parts. Technician didn't wait around to finish the job he said to call him when water valve was fixed ( luckily we could fix this ) but when we called the Technician he said he would come back by & call but never did. We called Guinco this morning & were told they would need a new work order to come fix what the Technician didn't do on Friday or Pay. I left messages, calls & no response from them. Now I have no use of water features where at least with my old door leaking I did. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE will be telling everyone how horrible. New company coming Dec 5th to fix what Guinco could not fix correctly or wait to finish the job correctly because they are over worked because folks quit now I see why they quit. Not great of a Veteran Owned Company from also a Veteran. Think someone from Guinco should have reached out to us but they don't care, its the word of the Technician when both of were here during the attempt to repair our Appliance read more

Had scheduled service on a Maytag dryer almost 3 weeks ago. The Maytag dryer has been nothing but a problem since we purchased it. We traveled to our house in Arizona specifically so the repairs could be made. Guinco Service was nice enough to contact us the morning before the service was scheduled to take place to inform us that they would not be able to keep their commitment. They asked to be texted or emailed so they could respond and reschedule but it's been a full day and no response from Guinco. Please consider careful the manufacturer and service provider you buy from so you can have a better experience then we have had. I purchased a Maytag washing machine from Spencer's and while still under warranty it broke down. Spencer's sent out the repair company who works with them. The tech said he needed to order parts and it would take 5-10 days to get them. A month later and still no parts. I contacted Maytag and they sent out Guinco within 3 days. James Osborn the service tech was right on time, courteous and very professional. He explained what was wrong with my machine and had the 3 parts needed on hand to fix the problem. Dealing with Guinco is definitely one of the top 5 WORST customer 'service' experiences in my Lifetime. When I called them whoever answered the phone was polite and 'appeared' to understand our situation. The situation was i have a kitchenaid top of the line side by side refrig/freezer, about 8.5-8yrs old. Working perfect on Wednesday and Wednesday eve I went grocery shopping, and brought home $450 worth of groceries. Thursday morn the unit was getting WARM. I Googled "authorized, certified Kitchenaid service companies. Guincos ad sounded like like they were professionals so i phoned them to schedule an ASAP appt. The polite appointment setter scheduled us an appt for Friday(today) between 2pm and 5pm. First RED FLAG. She sent me an appointment confirmation email immediately giving their techs name as L---s. He turns out to be a no-show. Nobody from guinco phoned to inform us, nor did they leave a message on Either of the telephone numbers they were given. So about 5:30 THAT AFTERNOON, i'm checking my emails and there in my junk/spam folder is an email from Guinco from 8:06 am that morning letting me know that L---s had some issues and couldnt keep my appointment, but they would be "happy to reschedule us for the following Tuesday" $30 worth of ice later" and about $350 worth of food gone bad due to their extremely poor service dept and ovbious practice of NON CRUCIAL COMMUNICATIONS LIKE THIS WITH CUSTOMERS kinda says it all LOUD & CLEAR...WE DONT GIVE TWO S---TS ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE CLUELESS IDIOTS AS YOU CAN. AN ALL AROUND BAD EXPERIENCE AWAITS YOU. THEY PROBABLY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF YELP. I was able to schedule my appointment online and our technician Isaac came just as promised. I was leaking water from the refrigerator and even though the issue was from the water supply line and from the fridge, Isaac was able to fix the leak and get me going. Many companies would just hand off and say not our problem and get a plumber. Isaac took the time to help me, explain what needed to be done, and offered a temporary fix. Thank you Isaac! read more

I guess I am unable to reply to my original review and the owners response. Just wanted to say that I looked online and found that there are issues with these heating elements being swapped out. I guess where these heating elements connect into the plug in the bottom of the inside of the dishwasher, there needs to be two circular rubber gaskets that go around the holes where the heating element connects into. That will prevent the water from leaking out the bottom of the dishwasher. Needless to say, I don't care whose fault it is, I just wanted it fixed and to not be charged. I ended up just buying a new dishwasher since my cabinetry baseboards are now warping from using the dishwasher and having it leak everywhere. I tried to clean the water up immediately but there was still residual water where I couldn't get to. Huge lesson learn and I hope the manufacturer and Guinco work something out before they get even more 1star reviews by causing people to spend money they shouldn't have to. This is something that could have and should have been prevented. read more

Our technician, Derrick, did an amazing job with a very tricky situation. Our Kitchen Aid built in refrigerator was leaking water underneath and access to the problem was very limited. Derrick arrived promptly, utilized all Covid precautions, and was polite, cheerful and very professional. He was able to troubleshoot the problem quickly and performed a difficult repair while mostly lying on the floor and reaching underneath the unit. BEWARE!!! Guinco is charging for fuel and not advising customers when they are told what the service charge will be. Also, their invoices are being written using "Parts" for the fuel charge, when no parts were used, as my refrigerator was deemed not repairable. In addition, they charged my credit card for fees that I did not sign for. Double check their iPad before you sign for anything, to ensure you are being charged appropriately and for nothing additional. Calling them was a waste of time, they didn't want to hear it and they are not doing anything about it, so I have to take matters into my own hands. read more

Terrible customer service. Tech shows up and spend 10 min (maybe) poking at the washer...part of that time he was on his phone talking to someone about a bet he should have made on a UFC fight. Ends up telling me he needs to order 3 parts for my 5 month old Maytag washer. I specifically asked for an invoice to be mailed. Been 4 days and still no email. Left two messages and no reply. Getting the impression these guys work for Whirlpool/Maytag rather than their customers. Will never use or recommend this business. Brutal. read more

Updating my one star review. No satisfaction from Guinco. Fortunately, merchant where I bought the washing machine that they broke, is taking it back. I have bought a new one. A different brand. It seems to be working perfectly. My rating remains the same. If you ask someone to contact you, and give a number to reach you at, then the one who answers the phone should know what to do to put you in contact with the person. They shouldn't say they don't know anything about it, and not try to help. Wish I could give less stars. read more

When my 1-year old microwave and refrigerator needed warranty service, Derek was sent to provide the repairs. He fixed the microwave on the first visit but had to order a part for the refrigerator. On the second visit he replaced the refrigerator part in less time than it took me to sew on a button. I recommend him highly for his courtesy, professionalism and punctuality. Although I hope not to require service in the future, I would call Guinco and request Derek. read more

I have Maytag washer machine that is still under manufacture warranty. It display error code F7E1. I scheduled through for warranty service through Maytag, I waited for 5 days for the service appointment. A tech (Joey?) from Guinco showed up and brought no tools or meter. Spent about 10 minutes running diagnostics through Maytag washer and spent time on phone with Maytag and stated that the shift actuator was bad and no part in stock. Stated 2-3 weeks until part MAY arrive. After he left, I suspect that his diagnostic is incorrect and I cannot wait another 3 weeks or more. I troubleshot washer myself and discovered motor's capacitor is not within range of 50uf. Bought capacitor from Amazon for $32 and installed it and washer worked perfectly. What kind of tech is this that doesn't even to bother to troubleshoot? BTW code F7E1 is relating to tachometer fault, capacitor need to have range within specs to start motor. Guinco needs to hire actual tech that willing to troubleshoot. Imagine if you waited 3-4 weeks and the guy will come with part then you'll end up still having to wait since washer won't work. Maybe they need to hire me :). Don't trust Guinco if you don't have time to take day off work and waiting for incorrect part. read more

I was requesting service through the Whirlpool site to repair my washer, I specifically waited two weeks to use Guinco due to their fabulous reviews despite there being earlier appointment options with other companies. Guinco called me to let me know that they didn't want to charge me for a visit since they knew the part I needed was out of stock. They mentioned they would call me back once the part is in...I never expected them to actually call me back but sure enough, about a month later they did and scheduled a service in two days. On the way to my house, the technician, Louie C. called and said he was about 20 minutes away and asked if I had my receipt for the washer, I said yes, but I know my washer is out of warranty. He said that's OK I don't mind calling them to see if they can make an exception. I sent him the order details, and he called Whirlpool and got the service and repair covered under their warranty. Talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND. Seriously I have never received customer service like this, that could have cost my family about $400-$500. You guys are fabulous and I will be recommending you to anyone that will listen. Thanks very much!! read more

They are knowledgable, efficient, reliable and professional.
