There is a great selection of just about everything you would want. Prices are lower than usual store but still generally higher than if you went to say, Marshall's/TJMAXX. For instance $160 Nikes were $100 here but you can find them for $80 at the Nike Clearance store. I was shocked that some of the prices were basically the same as "normal". $32 for a kid's Rockets T-shirt. No thank you. Luckily, they had signs that said if there is a "2" on the price sticker, the item is an additional 50% off which makes some items a GREAT deal. I left empty handed BUT will definitely come back and look when I have more time.

The service was great too because someone came up and helped us find the right size shoes, gave their own opinion on what shoes they preferred/the pros and cons of each, and they even explained their membership program to us. We actually ended up signing up for the program because it's a one-time $30 fee to shop in their member-only section of the store where they sell returned items for less than market price with a bunch of extra benefits. And, you actually get back the $30 you paid for the membership in the form of a store gift card. So, for example we actually got a pair of men's Hokas for $52, and now we have an extra $30 gift card we can go back to use in the store before it expires in the next month. The member-only returned section has a bunch of things from clothes to shoes to hats, etc., so just for that I think it's worth it.

I am a full-time Paramedic, and I rarely have the time off, but today was my day off, and I decided to take some time out of my day, and drive to this store in hopes of purchasing some new boots for work. As I walked through the door, the two men behind the cashiers desk, barely greeted me, as if they didn't care for my potential business or value me as a customer. They were too busy leaning back on the side countertop of the cashiers desk having a private conversation, instead of projecting a welcoming attitude, and thus emitting a positive atmosphere.. NOT once did ANY of the employees on shift ask me if I needed any assistance in finding any products. NOT once did they walk over to check if I was finding everything okay, which in fact I was not, because the lack of stock in the tactical boots area was terrible..and NOT once was I given the impression that I was a valued customer, which made me feel very unwelcome, and uncomfortable...I have in fact over the years spent a lot of money at this store for work gear, and presents for my family, and I have always found the employees to be rude, lazy, and unwilling to lift even a finger to help a customer. I didn't say anything because I gave them the benefit of the doubt..but today was their last chance. Due to the ongoing terrible customer service, and quite frankly, an ongoing lack in merchandise sizing and inventory..which I've noticed over the years, I would NOT recommend anyone to to take time out of there busy schedules to spend their hard earned money at this location. I feel that exceptional customer service is a massive driving force behind any business, and as someone whom has worked many years in the customer service field, I find the employees of the Webster location's lack of service, lack of effort, lack of any dedication to the customers needs, and their gross lack in professionalism, is absolutely atrocious.. When I walked out of the store, I made a point to look, and smile at the employee behind the cash register, as I am respectful. Not only did he look back at me acknowledging that I was leaving in a respectful and friendly manner, his vague type of glance, suggested a total disregard of respect. He made NO effort whatsoever to see if I had found anything I was looking for, nor did he tell me "Thank You For Coming Into Our Store Today", and or in conjunction with "Have A Great Rest Of Your Day"..which I feel is an example of a common courtesy which should be implemented in every business establishment for everyone whom walks into their store. They called to say bike was ready. Bike was in stand, they said derailer was out of place and if they could correct it. Went to another bike store, replaced bearings for $70, fixed derailer and cleaned bike for free. Bike has no sound and rides like a new bike.

Going into Gear Monkey I had very little knowledge about bikes but leaving I felt like I learned a lot of great tips to keep my dad's bike going forever. From the time I walked in to when I left, Scott Barnes helped me the entire time. Very knowledgeable guy and never tried to sell me extra stuff. He told me what I needed done first to what I could hold off on and come back over time and up grade. I'm beyond grateful and happy I now get to ride my dads bike again and go on our old trails we used to ride together. I'll definitely be back and will recommend everyone to them.
