I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Mark Johnson and his staff for my recent cataract surgery…read more At 72 years old with a very delicate eye condition, I was extremely nervous but Dr. Johnson put me at ease. Not only did I have a very mature cataract, but I was also extremely myopic with a -25.5 prescription - the highest on record at his office. This elongated eyeball made measuring for the precise intraocular lens (IOL) challenging. The measurements showed I needed a special 3-piece lens rather than the standard one-piece. Additionally, a previous eye surgery had replaced my vitreous with liquid, which raised concerns about whether it could adequately hold the new lens capsule in place. Despite the difficulties, Dr. Johnson promised improved vision but was upfront that he couldn't guarantee perfection. I appreciated his honesty. On surgery day at the Sarasota surgery center, the nurses were incredibly kind and attentive. They made sure I was warm and comfortable throughout by frequently providing heated blankets tucked around me at my request. After the surgery, I was overjoyed to be able to see clearly without glasses or contacts for the first time since getting my first -4.50 prescription at age 9! Dr. Johnson even called later to check on me. I am utterly thrilled with the results. Dr. Johnson's skills and his perfect lens selection have given me a new lease on life being able to see with my own eyes at my age despite my eye's complexities. I'm so grateful! Highest recommendation for Dr. Johnson - simply the best!

I was sent one after another who were supposedly told my requests for service, such as: non-smokers, must like (service) dogs, food prep, cook, clean, laundry, get mail, vacuum & mop floors, assist w organization, carry in groceries & put them away. I had a list for them when they came each time, yet since they didn't take notes, I had to babysit them the whole shift! Each person I was sent, except for 2, obviously wanted to just sit, watch tv & keep a little old lady company and maybe make a sandwich - and when it was made clear they needed to work, they grudgingly did as little as possible and then quit. The two who actually did work as requested, were doing fine (except for my having to babysit them) for a few weeks, and they too started spending time on their phone, or spending a half hour before quitting to do their "paperwork" which takes 5 mins. When I nicely pointed out they were still on the clock, they became annoyed and soon quit. To top it off, the last one broke my new grabber, quit and the agency said they wouldn't send anyone else because she made up a lie about my having bed bugs!! Unreal!! My opinion & experience has been that they don't want to work, they just want to do the bare minimum and collect a paycheck.

I ended up picking a pad that was supposed to be a nice cooling one for my horse but it unfortunately didn't work with my saddle and was very slippery. I brought it back to exchange for something that would work better and the owner refused the return because the pad had a little bit of dust on it. She said it was stained, I rubbed my hand on it a little and the dust started to brush off and mentioned that I could have washed it but then I definitely couldn't have returned it! She then went on to tell me I should have used a sheet on my horse and the saddle pad over it which would defeat the entire purpose or this specific pad and it's "cooling" properties. I mean the pad is white, it was already pretty dusty and lint sticks to it easily which I chose the cleanest looking one from the store in the first place. Their employees don't know what they are talking about when it comes to saddle pads and had no clue what to suggest to me by the way.. It cost me over $150, not to mention an hour of travel to have a worthless pad I can't use. I'll take my business elsewhere thank you.

We asked for a golf cart with seatbelts (we have small children) and were told by Brandy (the manager) that FL law for Boca Grande does not require seatbelts. They agreed to an exchange, and delivered a golf cart that was at least 25+ years old. PLEASE see attached picture. We frequently vacation and rent golf carts all over Florida and have NEVER had this type of experience. We have golf club memberships and have never seen golf carts this "vintage" in circulation. They are NOT pictured on their website. We strongly suggest other companies, as we paid MORE than other local vendors and received product that is EMBARRASSING to drive.

The office is large with a sufficient area with various glass frames on display. The staff is friendly and upon arrival, paperwork needed to be completed. Easy-Peazy !! Soon after paperwork was completed, I was called in to start my eye exam. Finished all those steps and with my eyes dilated, Dr Zusman came in for final assessment. Very nice Dr. He thoroughly explained my exam results and gave me some advice for dry eye & confirmed I was not colorblind . Overall, quite satisfied with my visit and would recommend seeing Dr Zusman for eye care.
