The Lasagna Sandwich. The concept and presentation of that dish intrigued me. Decor is what you would expect at the beach, corner of room displaying usual merch like t-shirts, cups, mugs, etc. place was much larger than I anticipated. Server was friendly and fast. Ordered a beer, server suggested bottle since it was happy hour, and bottles were cheaper than draft. I made up the difference in his tip for suggesting that. Pizza was very good. It was very simular to pizza place in Homewood that recently closed. IYKYK Ordered the 10 inch Big Dave, made two meals out of it. Not scrimping on the topping for sure. When we got there and sat down we saw on the menue that drafts were $7 and bottles were $6. The waiter apologized and said today was the first day of "summer prices" Grrr. We ordered a 3-cheese pan pizza. The cheese and sauce were good, not great. The crust was brown on the edges and bottom but almost raw in the middle where the crust meets the sauce. I have not experienced that any other time with a pan pizza. I am not sure what was going on but we will not be going back anytime soon. Being retired I can't afford expensive beer and undercooked pizza. That is just my opinion from one night on my first visit.

Ambiance: 4 stars - the vibe is really laid back, family friendly and open seating. Probably twenty tables but the tables can be accommodate two - twelve people. There is a wall beer / wine tap. The are about 12 local beers and a couple of wine variations. To drink the beers or wine, you will need to request a card where you add to the selection to activate the tap to pour. Prices are per oz basis. So you could have several samples without filling the mug up. Service: 3.75 stars - order at the counter, request for the drink card, grab your cups for the fountain drinks, and grab a table. They will bring the food to you. Food: 3 stars - Pizzas are cooked in a dome brick fire oven. Thin crust style 1. Carribea - 3 stars - a special containing ham, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, pickled artichokes, and mozzarella. Sauce is red tomato. - This pizza had a lot of potential but it fell "flat" due to the neutral taste of the ingredients. Though there was plenty of ingredients, it lacked herb seasoning. Also, due to the wet ingredients ( artichokes, mushrooms, and olives), the crust stay really moist on the bottom, so the crust was really limped. The ingredients were falling off the crust when trying to pick it up or with a fork. 2. Bianca- 3.25 Stars - if you are a vegetarian, this is good pizza to have. The white cream sauce had a garlic based with the right amount of herb seasoning. The fresh arugula on top had a slight peppery taste the crust was crunchy. Only thing missing for us, was the protein. However it was good. Enjoy!

They were not busy but you could smell food cooking more like a garlic smell. The inside was very plain notning fancy. Great place for families or get togethers. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We ordered a chef salad it was all fresh and a good size to share for 3 of us with some leftover. They charge $1.00 for a 2 oz of salad dressing which was a bit higher than most places. They only give 2 with the big salad. I would have gave 4 stars if they didn't charge so much for extra dressing when they did not give enough to begin with. The pizza was a supreme had everything on it it did not lack toppings, the mushrooms were fresh too not canned. The crust light and had a good taste, it did get a little soggy toward the middle but not too bad. Other than being a bit far to go we would not make a special trip again to go but if we were close by it would be a place we would go to.

When we got home, I realized we got an extra pizza - I thought it was because of the online order gaffe (like, maybe it went through), but realized it wasn't that... The pizzas were excellent - we love the crumbled Italian sausage! The big slices reminded us of our New York experiences (and it allowed us to say "we only had 2 pieces!" lol). The garlic knots were pretty good. We ordered a few add-ons... notably the garlic-butter dipping sauce, and a side of Alfredo for dipping. The garlic-butter was CRAZY GOOD - like, real butter with chunks of minced garlic in it. Real stuff. And a lot of it. The Alfredo tasted good, but was a little runny - but it worked. As far as Navarre goes, it seemed there were more chain pizza joints than local ones, so this was a great find that we would totally hit again.

Then I asked why I should eat a cold pizza after we ate the appetizer. Again a deer caught in the headlights. Then I told her to tell her Manager they were comping the appetizer. Five minutes later she was back saying ok. Her tip was drastically decreased!! Food the pizza was good but cool not cold yet. The cheesy bread with pesto was interesting. Since it had pesto why does it need marinara sauce? I think that was another mistake. Ambiance - the same. This was a very disappointing visit due to the poor service!!
