Been to Gulfstream Park several times and it's a cool spot to hang and bet on horses. Just a good time. My most recent visit to Gulfstream Park was for a work event. They rented out the Flamingo Room on the third floor, used as a private space. There's a huge parking lot and you can walk up the escalator and take the elevator to the third floor to Flamingo Room. It's a huge space with plenty of seating and a huge bar, right smack dab the middle of the room. The space is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the race track. We had a staff training event and then they brought the food out for a buffet. The food was pretty good for a private event. I loved the tiramisu and cream puff presentation. The chicken was a bit dry, but the pasta was tasty. After we ate, we were able to partake in a fun horse bets to win prizes. I won a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne and 4 tickets to Xtreme Action Park, which my kids love! SCORE!!! We had a fun day and the space was great for our private event!

I have been to Gulfstream park a few times over the years. There is something for everyone from shopping, dining, gambling, and horse racing. I'm not much for large crowds and or gambling so I don't go often. I found the property to be clean and the staff are helpful. If I go back again, I'd like to stop in some of the shops and try out one of the restaurants. On the plus side, there is no smoking indoors which is better than many other casinos. The property has much to offer however traffic can be bad after major events.

Large plaza with plenty of restaurants, bars, lounge, casino, stores and even a bowling alley. I've been here a multitude of times visiting different locations and you can always find something to do . It also hold the home of one is the US biggest statue the Pegasus.

I came here with my family to watch a few races. It seems like a good place to spend a couple hours if you're looking for something to do. Everything was pretty clean and the racetrack was close to the casino, bars, and restaurants.

Plan on wearing sneakers for lots of walking while browsing the retail stores, casino and eateries. The Yardhouse is the focal point next to the horse betting arena. The For a commercial restaurant, the Yardhouse has the best specialty craft beers - and ice cold. Walk up the stone walkway to the casino to try your luck. No more live poker tables but lots of digital blackjack and slots. The whole casino is thankfully SMOKE FREE.

You can never go wrong with a day at Gulfstream! It's a perfect spot for a fun and relaxing family outing. Whether you're strolling around the beautifully designed outdoor areas or catching an exciting horse race, there's always something to enjoy. The carousel is a big hit with the kids, adding a nostalgic touch that makes the experience even more special. There are plenty of great dining options to choose from everything from casual bites to full sit-down meals so no one goes hungry. Beautiful race track, definitely worth a visit. We came here for a tapas and wine event. The people who work here are really helpful. They directed us where we needed to go and were super helpful whenever we had questions. Betting was easy and there was virtually no wait. Plenty of staff to take your bets. Races were well organized and each race went off without a hitch. Bathrooms were clean and well attended. Overall, a great experience.

I a nice place to hang out in the city. A plenty of outdoors places to eat, drink, shop and gamble too. Parking is easy and comfortable. Immerse yourself into the lovely south Florida vibe and scene locals and tourists enjoy over and over. We recently visited the place during the Kentucky Derby and we had a blast, dressed up for the ocasión, sipping summer drinks and beat on some horse races ( we won enough to indulge in a romantic dinner at Saturday sunset. It had been quite a while since I visited Gulfstream and I went to visit the casino and noticed that there were quite a few stores no longer open. I wish they had a smoking area away from the entrance of the casino which makes it unbearable to walk through that area. The casino I love the staff is super friendly and very military friendly, We were given a special card and valet parking tag and thanked for our service, which was an awesome detail on their behalf. The only complaint was the bar staff was not very attentive and a bit unfriendly and it was a weekday which was not very crowded at all. Overall love this casino.

The music good and also the service, But I'm disapoiment with tuna appetizer that I ordered, it was $15.00... Not but because I know tuna is spensive, but what I received in this place I can even called a tuna, 4 small crackers with wakame and like 0.05 Oz. of tuna, is ridicules... Very nice outdoor mall with plenty of shops for all budgets and plenty of amenities for both adults and children that make this destination go above a shopping trip. I live in Nyc, and whenever I come to Hollywood Miami, I absolutely have to make a trip to this Park Racing and Casino. Their selection of stores, restaurants and activities is great and curated to people from all over the place. I especially love how kid friend it is and how fun they make it on Friday's from 7-10pm. My daughter always has a blast there and also running by the big water fountain that lights up at night. read more

Gulfstream Park is an aesthetically pleasing place -- beautifully laid out, with gorgeous grounds. As a poker player I enjoy the relatively large room and fairly good action. Though not on the scale of some of the larger "poker palaces" like Foxwoods in Connecticut, Commerce in LA, the Borgata in AC, or Casino Arizona near Phoenix, this is an excellent second tier place -- made even better by the nearness of gamblers who walk in from the race track -- and bring their gambling ways with them to the poker tables. I really like playing here -- and am sure to stop in when I'm in South Florida. read more

I often head out to Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino for dinner occasions and some casino action. The Gulfstream has been recently renovated there are some small shops as well as some places to eat. I ahve tried all the places and only a few are worth recommending at this point. I gave only four stars since its in the beginning stages. Each time I go there are more and more people who are attending so eventually the Gulfstream will be the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night! read more

This place is gorgeous. I love the casino. I go with my friends to play blackjack and it's always a blast. It's not really a place for youngsters, (you'll see a lot of velcro strap shoes and it smells like a nursing home with cigarettes) like any casino in Florida (except Hardrock, of course) but it's never usually crowded which I like. Cafe food is great. A for this place. read more

Jokers wild bar on the second floor is a disaster! Ziggy the bartender is rude to most patrons and acts like he's doing you a favor by serving you a drink. ZIGGY NEEDS TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Avoid this bar at all costs. Refuses to list the happy hour specials without rolling his eyes. read more

I gave it two stars because I used to love going there to see the horses with my in-laws. All these years later, stopped on our way South from Cocoa Beach bc we saw the "$100 free play" signs. Not true: We were told IF we lost "up to" $100 they would send it to us as free play. Oh well. We did (the games were boring AND tight)..they didn't. When I called, I was told the promo was over; then they lost my friend's info...then "Mike" would call me back. On the plus side...the food was good and lots of nice places to just wander and enjoy. Stay away from the slots though...what a waste. read more

The majority of the employees are rude. The people at the window where you bet on the horses are so nasty that we now place our bets on the self service machines. I came in contact with a gift shop employee last weekend and I was amazed by her lack of personality and customer service. The only reason we continue to visit Gulfstream Park is to watch the horse races. read more

I was amazed. I went back to this casino after a 2 year absence and, Wow! I was greeted by an enormous statue of Pegasus trampling a dragon, which I learned was imported from Japan, piece by piece along with the people to construct it. This statue alone is worth the trip. As good as anything in Las Vegas. The casino had many modern loose slots. There is also a big village alongside with modern and sophisticated shops like you see in Las Vegas as well. Without doubt, this is the nicest and cleanest casino in South Florida And yes, I have visited them all., Plus no smoking as well! Loved it (and made money too! ) read more

I can't speak for the race track, but this is by far the worst casino we have ever visited! Be prepared to lose your money, since the machines are not reliable whatsoever. The electronic roulette table malfunctioned when we happened to win our number. Instead of honoring our win, going back to the video surveillance for evidence or even being sympathetic, the slot manager, Amy told us "we probably were just seeing things". I was shocked at the lack of customer service and disrespect. We were actually planning a trip next month with two other couples and have since cancelled. This casino not only needs to upgrade their machines, but their slot manager as well. read more

Went here on a Wednesday to kill some time before a flight. No races were happening but I spent some time playing the slots. The casino areas are pretty small but I had a pretty good time. I ended winning a decent amount. The place overall looks really nice. I had lunch at Yardhouse next door. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd probably go back if there were some races being run. I'd like to see the track at night. read more

I have been to Hollywood Park in Inglewood before it's closure, to Santa Anita, Golden Gate Fields, Lone Star, Los Alamitos and since I live in San Diego of course Del Mar and I have to say that Gulfstream Park is one of my favorites! My husband and I took a tour this morning coordinated by Nancy. Jessica in Marketing gave us an amazing tour, she more than met our expectations, she was so knowledgeable about a variety of topics. Upon arriving at the Jockeys room we were greeted by the most passionate employee named Pedro he is so talented and runs one very tight ship, he gave us a rundown of the process and it truly was a great treat. As we exited the silks room we were greeted by the most wonderful Announcer; Peter Aiello who so generously gave us an insight to his profession, he has a beautiful personality and was so welcoming. We were also introduced to jockey Edgar Zayas who was very cool and limited for time as he was preparing for a race. We just are simply amazed and so very impressed! I HIGHLY recommend it! read more

If you are not using the casino you are safe in this place, but don't even get close to the casino. It is the most unfair casino I have ever experienced. For the past four years I didn't hear even one individual screaming with joy about winning a jackpot. If you want an indication, just take five minutes and watch the faces of the people leaving... that will tell you the entire story. You want even better indication, ask the people going out if any of them won, you will be shocked by the stories. When I enquired, why I don't ever win here and do the other players around me, they say that it is an entertainment... if so then this is by far the most expensive entertainment... go watch a movie and pay $15 and have a wonderful experience for two hours... Two hours in this casino will cost you tenfold if you are lucky.In short you are strongly urged to stay away from the casino. read more

I've been involved with racing for 40 years. I have never seen a worse manipulation of the results then the 6th race in June 30th. I called the racing office and instead of explaining why I was hung up on. This is why the sport will not survive. read more

Had a great day here. Watching the horses race was cool. Placing bets are super easy and the casino is right there as well. Lots of restaurants and shops to spend your day at. Jazz music on Sunday night was nice as well. A great way to spend a day in Hallandale Beach! read more

A new place for us to go,we had a lot of questions. The Players club ladies and the two men managers were some of the rudest people I've encountered in a long time. What turned a bad time,around was the friendly working staff, the deli lady,Denise the Casino attendant,the nice guy that operates the parking lot trolley. Our Thanks to you guys for making it a good time for us. The owners of this place really should look into some education for your desk clerks,on customer service. Or maybe have the,staff I mentioned teach them. Hats off to your cook, his grilled chicken was perfection. read more

Like many women's clubs in Florida, the Hollywood Women's Club was founded in 1922 during the Florida Land Boom years. In the 1920's women's clubs were formed to give back to the community. They became a way for women to get out of the house and assert their independence. They allowed women to get involved in politics and launched the women's rights movement. The Hollywood Women's Club predated the founding of the city and in 1924 they joined the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The first club members were the wives of officers in the J.W. Young Organization which was the development company building Hollywood. They met in the first clubhouse that was built on land donated by the founder of Hollywood, Joseph W. Young in 1927. Early club projects included donating hundreds of books to the first public library, holding tag sales to pay for health screenings for children, giving migrating farmers assistance with housing and welfare, getting the Miami Telephone Co. to bring the first telephone line to town, and collecting $12,000 during a war bonds drive. Today the club supports literacy programs, funds a youth scholarship, participates in the Hollywood Historical Society, supports the neighborhood crime watch, and provides financial aid to many state charities through the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The original plans for the clubhouse included an ornate Mediterranean Revival style. After the collapse of the land boom due to the Great Depression and several hurricanes the design was scaled back to a more affordable $25,000 Classical Revival style building in 1927. The building was listed as a a local historical landmark in 1985, and added to the National Register of Historic Place in 1995. Between 2012 and 2014 money was raised by the club and added to a grant to prevent the clubhouse from sinking into the sand. Other cosmetic work was also completed on this charming historical building. In 2022 the Hollywood Women's Club celebrated their 100th anniversary. During this time further electrical improvements and upgrades to the kitchen were made. Today the clubhouse is available to be rented for private events. The 1,200 square foot main event room has hardwood floors and a grand piano and can accommodate 60 people. There is also a catering kitchen. Information on how to rent the clubhouse and join and volunteer with this important civic organization can be found on the club website. If there are any upcoming events you can find that information as well. For instance they hold 2 round bingo nights for $10. The next bingo night is May 30th and they serve inexpensive drinks including alcohol and snacks. For over 100 years the women of Hollywood have been coming together to improve their local community as well as the state of Florida. Women's clubs have a legacy of helping their communities and it's nice to see that this one is still going strong today.

We moved from our country in January 2018 as soon as we got to Aventura this school was the best option to us. We Know about the Montessori philosophy and we like it. On the day of the interview, we informed the principal of our situation, we just moved from another country, my son spoke no English and he had a 6 months old sibling. Our 5 years old son started on March because we believed he could benefit from being with other kids, learning how to share, practicing english and having a routine while we organized the family affairs. After 1 week, we got a call from the principal who let us know that they decided to reevaluate the admission because our son had a bad attitude. He didn't cooperate with activities or would not listen to the teacher (he didn't speak English at the time) We asked her to be patient because of the circumstances and the principal gave us another chance, but it sounded like an ultimatum. The following month, April, we had to travel to our country. We where there for two weeks and when we came back he wasn't better. I think being exposed again to his old life, friends and the family wasn't easy. One morning the principal called me again, she was screaming. She informed us that she put our son out of school! I was crying and felt really sad. My husband called to speak to her and tried to reason with her, this wasn't the ideal solution. She said that our son was not a good fit anymore and he was going to be given two weeks to adjust to the school or else he would be dismissed. Mind you this was also the end of the school year. My son was going through a lot, a new sister, a new country a new language. This school treated him as if he was a juvenile delinquent, as if his presence in the school was a problem. This principal prizes herself for having 23 years of experience in childhood education and that is the way she decided to handle a child who was going through a challenging time in his life? We were made feel as if there was something terribly wrong with him. My son was silly and exuberant experiencing an incredible amount of change all at once, that was his fault. Never did the teachers though help him navigate transitions (the most frequent times for behavioral outbursts), or never was he given time to familiarize himself with the Montessori rules which they claimed he was not following. He was defiant but like a 5 year old can be, a 5 year old who is going through so much change in his life. We were given an ultimatum in a very cold and unsympathetic way. After that call, my husband and I decided to get him out of this horrible school right away. Never in my life have I experienced such lack of compassion and understanding in an early childhood education setting. My son wasn't violent or aggressive or dangerous he was anxious and rambunctious. There must have been other ways to deal with this, some basic childhood psychology and more respectful interventions. You see I could have dealt with the idea that my son wasn't a good fit for this school if the principal had been communicating with us in a compassionate manner, but that never happened. Do yourself a favor, steer away from this place and their cold hearted management. These people should not be educating anyone since they lack basic human empathy. Now, a year later, we are so happy. He is in kindergarten, he is an excellent student, he loves his teacher and has made a lot of friends. He only needed TIME !!

I am writing regarding my unpleasant experience while visiting your facility. I traveled nearly an hour to Gulfstream to partake in a day of entertainment. To start, when I first arrived I was stopped by a gentleman telling me that I needed to have on a face mask. I politely explained to the gentleman that I indeed did have on a face covering and had already passed the security checkpoint with what I was currently wearing. He began to waste my time explaining that I needed to possess some type hospital grade mask. After enduring this aggravating encounter I carried on in an attempt to enjoy the rest of my day. After a successful bet I went to go cash in my prize. Once I arrived to the counter I was told by the attendant I would have to cash in my bet elsewhere. I was furious. I was confused. She began to explain that due to a change in policy Gulfstream was unable to cash out bets until further notice. I would have to travel to another location. As a business man I feel deeply perplexed as to why there is no sign displayed ANYWHERE around the facility indicating this new policy? My entire experience at Gulfstream was less than pleasurable and I have no plan to return. read more

I watched Michel ritvo ride a calabrese horse that was trained by is mother. Kathy's claim to fame is that she trained one good horse. I doubt that Michel ritvo will ever gain status as a good jockey. I watched him on june8th ride a horse and he almost caused three horses to fall because he was a wise guy. He was sitting third behind two horses fighting it out. instead of waiting for the turn into the stretch and shooting to the outside which was the way to go in slop, he decided to show everyone how brave he was and took his horse to the rail. he could have been hurt, two jockeys could have gotten hurt and the horses also. as far as his being a jockey I hope he knows how to wait on tables read more

What a disappointment. Gulfstream Park WAS the greatest addition to our neighborhood with friendly people,greeting & saying hello. Now it is full of sourpusses threating you not to go here or there. Yesterday I went over to place a couple of bets to show my support for the track and jockeys and horses. Believe it or not you can't make a bet unless you spend $20 at the only 2 restaurants that have accessible betting machines. Are you kidding? Who owns these machines? Poker room is good. I like it. But theres something you all should know. For winning poker players, $1-$3nl is 50% more profitable than $1-$2nl. If you can win 8 big blinds an hour, its $24, instead of $16. If you cant afford $2-$5nl, $1-$3nl is much better than $1-$2nl.100 big blind buyin at $1-$3nl is only $300. $7 a hand is a killer at $1-$2nl. The blinds are too small, the pots are too small, the rake is too high. $1-$3nl with a $100-$500 buyin is the ideal low stakes game. It's only $1 more in the big blind! read more

My girlfriend's cell phone was stolen at the 2nd floor casino after the Pegasus World Cup. Security refused to review videos to identify the thief and they also refused to provide their names. If I was suspected of cheating at cards, they would have had every second of footage of me in the casino pulled in a heartbeat. They were completely useless and did not care at all that a crime was committed. We should have just called the police and let them make a scene. read more

Open spaces lots to do and see you and walk around races are pretty interesting. If he never been there, just stick to an old guy with a book in his hand and you'll be good. read more
