First time customer and here's my experience. Called Matt and had setup to come in the next day for tire mounting. The following day, I dropped off my new wheels and new tires and picked them up a couple hours later. The good: got an appointment from them next day for tire mounting. The bad: my new Advan wheels got damaged from mounting from there machine even though Matt texted me that they are flawless after inspecting the wheels. Price went up from a $100 the initial phone call with Matt, to $120 from meeting Matt at the shop, to $140 for having to do reverse mounting. Not to mention uses my Advan wheels on there IG story to promote getting wheels from them which I didn't purchase my wheels from them nor was I asked about it.

05/1/23 - Bought 2 set of Momo wheels from these guys ebay store. Wheels were authentic but both package was incomplete, missing parts that should be included as shown in the (instructions & what comes in the packaging). When I contacted them about the missing parts they claim it's not included even though the package clearly shows it's included and I need to purchase separately. After a few emails back and forth, they made up a story that the missing items will be shipped from wholesaler at no extra charge. After 2 weeks of not receiving the package they sent me tracking of another customers package 1000+ miles away from my address and claimed the wholesaler shipped to the wrong address. I contacted them again, they keep BSing me until i'm frustrated, give up and just took the lost. Below is the full conversation of the issue and the scam that was pulled to refuse sending me the missing parts.

Gummy grip was amazing! I spoke to Matt about installing my new wheels and tires a few weeks ago. I had a great experience with these guys I highly suggest them!:)

It's a small shop, but decided to take a chance Bought a set of rims and tires for a great price, absolute class act's. The staff were all friendly and the waiting area was comfortable with free drinks. Great shop, next time I need something I'm going to them.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Shaun and Harvey did an excellent job working on my Mitsubishi Evo X front ball joint bolt and nut. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly and safely. You can tell they really know their craft and take pride in their work. Had high hopes for this shop after seeing all the great reviews but was immediately disappointed by their lack of customer service. Tried reaching out to schedule some tires to be mounted/balanced over the course of 3 days days but they never pick up their phone. Their Voicemail says to text if they don't answer but take almost 24hrs to respond - not very professional... Dude at the counter made us feel like an inconvenience lol. When we walked in, he didn't even acknowledge us... Mind you, it's a really small space. Asked for steering wheels and basically told us get the part number and I'll help you which we were under the impression that this place has steering wheels to look at in store. It was an excellent experience getting new tires on my Abarth. I received a same-day appointment, and the guy mounting the wheels took the utmost care removing, mounting, torquing, cleaning, and installing the wheels. My car is nowhere near perfect, but he treated it like an exotic. (even took the extra time to make sure center caps were aligned. I have never had a shop take the same care as I would. This place is excellent. I wish I knew about them when I moved here 20 years ago. I will see yall next time! read more

I msgd Matt on fb market place January 10 for new set of tires. Tires came in at January 11 and I have 4:30pm appointment. Got there and ryan took my key at 4:32 pm and gave it back at 5:05pm. I walked into Gummy Grip to buy some new tires and was greeted quickly. They got me some Falkens ordered up and I was texted within a day that they had arrived and I was in with an appt the next day. I'm pretty partial to my wheels and they took great care of mounting and balancing while I was waiting. It's great to know there are shops that are still willing to chop it up with you while things are being done. I've been coming to this place for a long time and this is my Go-To shop for anything. They always been reliable and upfront with all the pricing and details. If there was major work or work that they couldn't do they would just let me know right away and list a few other options. They've worked on my wife's Kia optima a couple years back for tires. They've replaced the brakes, sway bars and tires on my Kia stinger and basically all the work on my 2006 Mitsubishi evo. Harvey. Shaun and Eladio are all amazing techs/mechanics. Matt always tries to order and look up all types of stuff specific to my needs. They are all amazing guys. They are always busy but they always take care of everyone as much as they possibly can, and they always give me a time frame on when the car is going to be ready. I can't wait to get more money and get more mods/upgrades on my car and I'll always hit these guys up first. read more

First of all this shop labeled the wheels wrong, drove across town to get wheels in a 5x100 only to find out it was 5x112. The shop is slowly dying and going out of business. Wheels are over priced for reps. Not much parking. The employees take all the parking , none for customers. Tiny shop, No ac. They don't even know what in their own inventory. Dont waste your timing coming here , lots of other places that provide wheels and tires. read more

Fantastic Service! I went to Gummy Grip after finding them on the internet. Went in person to see if they could order tires for my Boss 302. The answer was "No Problem". We settled on the Nitto 555G2 as a good street balance, and Matt ordered the tires. The price we agreed to was below the online price from Discount. He was able to get the tires in a couple of days. We set up an appointment for install, and when I got there things were ready for me. Two employees waiting for me. They mounted and balanced all 4 tires, taking great care of the polished wheels. The whole install took less than an hour. Literally the most positive experience I have ever had in a tire shop - and I have been buying tires for 35 years. Clean shop, nice people. Modern equipment, and they know how to use it. The balance on these tires is exceptional. I highly recommend this shop for tire work. read more

I met one of the shop guys at the LVR autocross event this summer. They gave me a flyer for 10% off which I lost but I'm glad I went to them anyway. They are very accommodating and did a great job changing spark plugs and brake pads on my 2016 BRZ. Pricing seems reasonable. Even though it's not close to my house, this will be my shop from now on. read more

First, I called the number provided and nobody answered. No biggie, I left a message on the obvious Google Voice system, it's been 48 hours and I'm still waiting for that call to be answered so I'm guessing nobody monitors that number. After I called, I took the time to fill out a detailed "request a quote" form and provided exceptional information to the respondant to save them time and effort if possible. I did receive follow up message where I described my issue in depth, I provided my availability and my general location and was told that I would be notified of appointment availability. Long story short, 18 hours of silence from the company led me to take my vehicle to a local shop and get my vehicle serviced. Almost 48 hours after requesting a quote I STILL haven't been offered an appointment. I guess it's probably a good thing that I'm not stranded beside the road waiting, I'd probably be carjacked by now. Not saying the dude doesn't do good work, but you must need to be special to get respect of an appointment or at least enough courtesy to decline the work because you don't have time.

I'm almost embarrassed to write this review after the bonehead error I made. I wanted to visit an…read morehistorical site about 25 miles from Las Vegas. When I arrived, I saw that the Union Pacific Railroad had fenced and locked the gate to the road you used to use to get to the spot. Just after the fence was a dirt road leading to where I wanted to go. I went off road, realized the ground was soft, but I was able to get up 2/3 of the hill before my car wouldn't go any further. It was like being in the snow back in New York. I backed down the hill expecting to just drive away and foprget this outking. However, that idea was abandoned when my car got stuck in very soft and deep desert sand and some dead creosote bushes had stopped by backward progress. Here I am, stuck about 5 miles from a truck stop and I had no water (some desert rat I am)! After wondering what to do, I finally called the non=-emergency 311 number. I explained by predicament and asked if they could advise me what to do. This was the North Las Vegas police department. They decided it would be best to talk top Las Vegas Metro Police and they transferred me. Metro decided it was best to transfer the call to the Nevada Highway Patrol given I was in them middle of nowhere. After talking to NHP for a short ime, the call was cut off. Using Yelp, I eventually got connected with a towing service out of North Las Vegas (Elite Towing). They knew my general location and what I needed. In about 3/4 of an hour, I saw the flatbed arrive. I was going to be extricated from the mess I had gotten myself in. The driver came over and started up the hill and would pull the front out. When he realized the softness of the sand, he backed down and decided to pull the car from the back end. He attached the winch cables and I was told to turn the wheel when the car was leaving the sand and getting onto the packed gravel road, and it worked just fine! I was free. The driver, a very pleasant young man, disconnected the cables and I was free to go. I made no attempts to get to the site. I had learned my lesson. After a quick turn around, I was headed back to Las Vegas. Many thanks to Elite Towing for their response which was timely given where I was. I also decided that I'd rent a four wheel drive when I go back. (some people never learn)! I knew I shouldn't have traded my 4x4 xTerra. But I lknow if I'm in range where I can get help, Elite will be there to rescue the jerk who got himself stuck in the desert.

Got a hold of Matt after my girlfriend got me a wicked steering wheel for my birthday, and I needed a hub 3 days before autocross. Matt did his best to let me know when the hub and quick release arrived, and even drove to the shop for me on a day it was closed to make sure I got it. Killer service, and awesome prices. This shop is amazing. They were able to pin point a problem I was having with my 2016 Scion FR-S related to the steering.
