The food was excellent, the bartender and kitchen staff were attentive, friendly, and on point all night, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for celebrating as a team. We even had a DJ, and Misto's was a great space for both dining and dancing without feeling cramped or rushed. A special thank-you to Christian, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to make this a memorable and special first company holiday party for us. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire event seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend Misto's for corporate events, celebrations, or any special occasion. We'll absolutely be back!

The weather was great, so you could choose to sit inside or out; we chose indoors. Even though our waitress was busy, she was still attentive and friendly. We had sangria, which was really good, and the $$ Italian dishes we ordered hit the spot. The restaurant itself had a nice vibe, clean, nicely decorated, and had a good energy. The staff were welcoming and the bar area seemed pretty popular. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Following my recent review of their Cote de Boeuf, I took home the Roasted Chicken and the Home…read morePork Chop, the latter being new on the menu. I noticed other new items, such as the pork Ossobuco, which sounded better on paper, but Felix, who had taken over from Irma, stated the Pork Chop was better than the Ossobuco and accounts for my to go order. I still wonder about that decision, but the important thing is Home Bx is constantly evolving while the chefs in the kitchen remain constant and consistent. The roasted chicken is really good and verges on comfort food. It comes with a malanga truffle puree, which is a puree of the malanga tuber in the Caribbean and South America, resulting in a consistency of mashed potatoes, but has a nutty flavor that becomes very earthy with the butter, truffle oil and mushroom sauce, sparked with white wine and bits of bacon that has you thinking pancetta. The sauteed spinach accompanying this dish melds perfectly well with this dish. The chicken is the boneless breast and bone-in wing drumette, grilled in their kitchen. The skin is crispy and there is some char from the grill on certain parts, lending even greater favor and texture you will devour. The white meat of the breast absorbs the white wine, balanced with the butter and truffle oil and never has a hint of dryness. I am certain this dish would have been exceptional had I eaten it on premises. It will not have the impact of the Cote de Boeuf, but, at twenty seven bucks, this is probably the sleeper on the menu. Four stars. The Home Pork Chop is a single French cut chop, medium thickness, bone-in resembling a mini Tomahawk style frenched bone. It comes with a Marsala mustard sauce, which I could not determine if it was made with a dry red or white Marsala wine. It was served with an Oriental sweet potato mashed that did not do anything for this dish in my opinion. I would have to revisit this by eating it on premises, but this was the least impressive of the steak and chicken. Please take this review a little lightly, given I ate the chicken and pork chop at home. The pork chop benefits from being grilled as well, but did not have the impact other preparations have at Home Bx. If the Marsala mustard sauce had more bite to it, the Oriental sweet potato would have offered the contrast and juxtaposition for this dish to shine more. You'll enjoy eating the rest of the meat off that frenched pork chop bone. 3.8 stars. They work very hard at Home Bx to deliver on your plate for the benefit of your palate. Home Bx may be the only restaurant I have found that is receiving feedback and acting upon it and without anyone's prompts and Home Bx is independently evolving in their menu, preparation, and presentation. If there's any doubt, try their Lobster Mac and Cheese and get back to me or ask the folks nearby who ordered it.

I just love this spot. I'm there at least a few times a month. First off the food there is…read moreamazingly delicious IMO. I enjoy the Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks & deserts! I definitely have a thing for their Vodka sauce too How's the food? The meatballs are so good.. Tender.. They fall apart which I like. Not big on huge, dense meatballs anyway.. These things taste amazing! You gotta try them.. The Chicken Parm with spaghetti in Vodka Sauce is one of my favorites dishes The chicken is nice and tender, sauce has a great flavor, cheese is nice and melted, pasta perfectly cooked and it's a pretty big portion! The Mozzarella Sticks are like no other! I'm telling you! They make them fresh on-site.. Not store bought frozen sticks where the cheese pops out the casing.. These things are the real deal.. The cheese is stringy, well melted.. And they're pretty big.. They don't skimp.. Good for like 2-3 people.. I can only eat one myself.. The Pizzas are pretty good too! I really enjoy the entry dishes but if I'm with a group, I'll get a pizza to share. They're pretty small anyway. My favorite dessert is the Conollis! They have a nice airy, light casing.. The ricotta filling is so flavorful and fluffy.. So on point The service staff is always welcoming, accommodating and super cool. Really good crew. The place itself is so chill. Layback atmosphere, some really cool music plays in the background, classic Hip Hop, Funk/Soul breaks and more.. historical art decor fills the walls and vibes are always right in the spot. Might even have some games on the TVs.. great spot altogether.. You can see the Pizza cook in their fire oven.. Pretty cool I think. So if you're looking for a really cool spot to munch at in the Bronx Kingsbridge Neighborhood, you should definitely check out Kingsbridge Social Club. It's a vibe! Have a good one yall! -Ray

What a wonderful spot for you to explore…read more We wanted to take our friend out to dinner for his birthday he likes a low key style. We called a head since it was 6 of us to see if we could do a walk in or if we needed a reservation , and both options are available which is a plus. Dress attire is your choice we dressed regular nothing fancy just day to day hang out style. We were greeted kindly by the staff sat down handed a set of dominoes to play with while we waited for our food and drank some water. The place is decorated nicely and you can see the vision in mind definitely. We placed our orders and I'm not gonna lie I came in thinking the food was gonna be eh but I was blown away by the flavors. For drinks we ordered a spicy sunset, pretty young thing and cokes. The spicy sunset is a nice strong drink and is rimmed nicely with just the right amount is tajin as you drink it; it has a nice smoky after taste to it definitely was delicious. The pretty young thing was a nice citrusy drink with a little salty aftertaste, which balanced out the flavor nicely. The cokes were not water down they were good as well. For food we ordered the Cuban sandwich with parmesan fries, butter chicken wings, butter chicken macaroni and cheese, steak nachos grande, butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and mom's butter chicken platter. This was a wonderful Spanish and Indian style combination of flavors. Definitely my first time having this type of food and wow what a mind blowing experience. Not one person in the table complained or had anything negative to say about their food. We all tried each other's food and each bite we exchanged to try was delicious and better than the last . The Cuban was delicious but the parmesan fries stole the show from that meal it was paired so lovely who would've thought those flavors would've mixed nicely. The buttery chicken wings oh my God dripping with goodness each bite was legit finger licking good lol. The butter chicken macaroni very very delicious. Had a nice cheese pull and a good balance could not stop eating it. The steak nachos were delicious I wish It had a little more meat, but it was not bad. The butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries also delicious and the fries were cooked so nicely that it was crispy and soft at the same time per bite. The mom's butter chicken platter was delicious they gave the right amount of sauce, the pita bread was delicious and soft, the salad that it was paired with was good too the rice was decently portioned. Everything was definitely tasty. Not one complaint of any of the meals. We did not wait long for the food. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I want to come back to try more things in the menu that's how good the food was and our group agreed to also come back with us. This spot is definitely a place to try. They have a beautiful quote right near the bar that really spoke to us, especially during these times it said "you are exactly where you need to be." It makes you stop for a second and really take it in and just live in the moment ... especially living in New York, where you have to be always go go go fast fast fast. This was really beautifully written thank you to the staff who made our night and our friend's birthday special we'll see you soon.

It's not just one place either, there are several pizzerias throughout the borough that serve quality, NY style pizza that can't be beat. Over the years, I have naturally gravitated towards a select few spots due to their location - Addeo's is one of them. Addeo's has a rich history in the Bronx - at its heart, it's a bakery that specializes in bread. They also have two pizzerias/Italian restaurants - one on the west side and one here in Morris Park. The latter is relatively new compared so its other businesses, having opened in the last 6 years or so. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it's some of the best pizza I've had. New York at it's finest with fresh ingredients and that signature Addeo's bread used for the crust - it's everything you want in a slice. In addition to classic thin crust, they also make grandma pies, rolls, and calzones. Outside of pizza, they have several apps, soups, sandwiches, and entrees; one of my favorites is the grilled chicken and broccoli rabe sandwich with fresh melted mozz mmmm. While pizza will forever be a hot topic with New Yorkers, I will gladly throw Addeo's into the discussion of best pizza in the Bronx and NYC at large. It's well worth trying out and will forever be my go-to pizzeria.

There was barely any meat or filling--mostly just a garlic bread roll, which was disappointing. On top of that, the service wasn't great. Ambiance is super casual and metered parking only unless you can find parking on a residential side street.

An authentic Italian gem on Arthur Avenue…read more Zero Otto Nove was recommended to us by the owner of Titles Brothers, where I regularly go to buy Italian cold cuts and cheeses. It turned out to be one of the best recommendations we've received. My mom, my daughter, and I absolutely loved our experience. The food was outstanding, the wine was excellent, and every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff welcomed us with a smile and never made us feel rushed. Instead, they took the time to recommend some of their favorite dishes, and every suggestion was delicious. What made the evening even more special was how kind and attentive they were to my daughter. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel truly welcome. If you're visiting Arthur Avenue and looking for authentic Italian cuisine with outstanding service, Zero Otto Nove is a restaurant I highly recommend. Great food, excellent wine, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. We'll definitely be coming back!

We started with the Patate Salsiccia e Provola, and I immediately understood why Italians talk with their hands my mouth was too busy eating to say anything. The chicken was so tender I barely needed a knife, and the wine had me looking around for a Vespa to ride back to the Bronx. The service was fantastic friendly, attentive, and patient enough to let me butcher every Italian word on the menu without judging me. At least not out loud. If this isn't what Italy feels like, don't tell me. I'm happy living in this delicious fantasy. Now excuse me while I search for affordable flights to Rome... or just uback to Arthur Avenue.

The restaurant truly defines fine dining, and it's a wonderfully comfortable, clean spot that is perfect for friends catching up over a long meal. We came back specifically to try their three-course brunch menu this time ($49.95 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert), and it did not disappoint. As soon as we were seated, they brought over their complimentary focaccia bread with olives and olive oil to start the meal off right and my friend could not get enough of it! . For my appetizer, I ordered the lobster roll, and although the seafood was impressively fresh, I honestly should have gone with a lighter salad only because the roll felt like a bit too much bread alongside the delicious starter focaccia! For my main, I had the steak and eggs, which was hearty and cooked to my liking. I also asked for a side order of the pancake, which to me, curiously tasted exactly like a sweet, cornbread! To top it all off, we opted for the continuous pour option for an additional $20, which is a pretty good deal. For dessert, the bread pudding was phenomenal as always. Now, it happens to be one of my absolute favorite desserts, so I might be a little biased, but the friends who were with me completely agreed and thoroughly enjoyed it as well! What keeps us coming back here just as much as the fresh cuisine is the top-tier hospitality. We had the absolute pleasure of having Angel as our server today, which was fantastic since I've been fortunate enough to have him look after my party on a previous visit. On top of that, the management is always so incredibly sweet and welcoming. It is honestly so good to feel genuinely welcomed every single time you visit a place you love. Definitely a 10/10 spot for a weekend brunch, a date night, or getting the group together!
