I called and spoke to Gabe in their service department and he was super understanding and had their main guy help us out with our window. They had helped us out super fast and even got to talk to him about California and how everything has changed. I can't for the life of me remember the name of their mechanic but super friendly and overall amazing staff.

Well, Robert, the individual who runs the rental office goes ahead and tells me that I'm too much trouble for him and that I don't seem like the kind of person who he wants to rent to. Mind you, I had not used profanity, condescension, and our conversation was over the phone. I know that it's within reason for him to rent to whomever he wants, but being incredibly rude to someone who did nothing but show genuine interest in your product and respect when speaking to you is beyond unprofessional. I've since heard that I'm not the first to have been treated this way. So far this is a first in a town that is known to be friendly and welcoming. Both times, the staff had zero interest in selling us anything, even though we were ready to purchase. In those cases, we ended up buying elsewhere. Recently, we had been looking for another vehicle, and noticed that they had one in our price range like we were interested in. Walked up to the dealership, and there were a couple of salesmen sitting outside on a break. DJ (Donel) was very friendly, laid back, and not pushy at all. He showed us the vehicle, let us take it on a test drive, etc. We decided it was what we wanted, so we ran the numbers and came to an agreement. There had been a warning light come on in the car when we drove it. The guys in the shop could not get it fixed, and the manager was concerned about selling us the car with a problem. He and DJ noticed that one with less miles had just come in, but was still being checked in. They got it and pulled it around, and it was even better shape with about 1/4 of the miles on it we were looking at initially. They were able to sell it to us for about the same price! Very pleased with the dealership. They treated us well, and there was no pressure. Good job, Carlsbad Ford.

Just enough time for them to steal the company gas card out of my truck and a large brand new tide pod laundry detergent out of the backseat. Keep in mind all they were supposed to do was detail the vehicle on the inside. Oh yeah the check engine light came back on the first day. It's an old truck but that still doesn't mean the mechanic/detail crew needs to be stealing anything out of anyone's vehicle!!!!! Call the service advisor about it and I got a "sorry" ..... If you decide to use this place, lock everything up or take it with you because they have many sticky fingers in that place. I'm going to tell my oil and gas company not to be using that establishment. And n we use​ them a lot.
