We were pleasantly surprised with a short wait, spacious layout that helped dampen the noise inherent with a family-friendly restaurant. The cheesy goofy vibe of Guy is everywhere - and so is his face LOL Luckily the food shows up and gives the place something to stand other than just a famous name. And as far as tourist restaurants go, it was VERY fairly priced. These days a footlong at Subway is $16, I'll pay for an entire chicken sandwich plate made fresh by a chef for $16 any day. Not to mention an incredible steak sandwich with garlic sauce! We also got the street corn queso to share, and it was divine. Took a bit to get seated but understandable since it was Black Friday and we had a party of six. Nice American bar style restaurant that is very open and clean with plenty of TVs around the bar area. Our waitress was able to give good suggestions for food since it was our first visit. The pineapple habanero margarita was tasty, some people in the group did not like the pulp in the drink, but I didn't mind, just wish I had a little bit more alcohol. The blackened salmon was phenomenal and perfectly cooked, wished that I had a little bit more of it. I got a side of the hot honey sauce (OMG that stuff should be bottled) and drizzled it over the salmon for a little extra kick since I like spicy. The "dirty" fried rice added an Asian flair to the meal and complimented the salmon very well. My only complaint is that I wish this restaurant was closer to St. Louis, Missouri. read more

Their trash can nachos are supposed to be the main item. We ordered one as an appetizer to share for the table and it didn't end up coming out until after our entrees were delivered and we were almost done eating them. Nachos were smaller than we all thought. Tasted like normal nachos you would get anywhere. Couldn't really taste or see what made them stand out being at Guy's restaurant. Service was sad. This place was our best part of our vacation. Eric was so great and was a fun part of our night. We started with the Shocktop pretzel beer, that was amazing. Then had the Buffalo wings with blue cheese wasabi dip but the star of our night was Nashville hot chicken nachos. Eric did amazing presentation that sold the show. My family of 5 ate here while visiting Branson and we were all very pleased with our meals. I had the Flavortown Mac and Cheese, which was easily one of the top 10 Mac and cheeses I've ever had in my life. The cheese sauce was so flavorful and delicious. I also had a pineapple habanero margarita that had the perfect amount of spice and sweetness - so good for any spicy margarita lovers! My husband had the Old Skool Steak Sandwich, which was also very delicious.... The steak was cooked perfectly and wasn't too chewy. Kids ate Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. I like that they had mandarin oranges and applesauce as side options. The kids all ate their food (which is no small feat in my family). So all around a great meal. The ambiance is also very nice and modern and we were able to watch the zipliners from our seat by the window the whole time, so we had free entertainment! read more

First off it's July and half of their a/c units weren't working but they didn't tell you that until your at your table sweating. The food was nothing spectacular either. Unfortunately went from 5 to 3 stars. We go here quite often when in town and is usually one of our favs but sadly not the case this time. The first thing was we walked in and were told it would be 30 minute wait. And that's understandable, however as I looked in dining area there were at least 8 empty tables. The greeters were not very friendly. Something we have never experienced. The whole staff just seemed to be off their game. We ordered our grandkids food quickly so they could start eating as we perused menu. But unfortunately our meals and appetizers arrived and still no kids meal. It was one pizza! But the worst and most disappointing is food quality has declined. And that's too bad. Maybe it was just a bad night. Pretty sure the whole experience would not be "Guy" quality. Went to Branson for a birthday celebration and decided to try Guys and it did not disappoint!! On a recent trip to Branson, we decided to try something different. We went in late on Saturday night and were greeted by an enthusiastic server who provided us with the best service imaginable. We visited in the middle of the week late in the afternoon so it was not very crowded. Very nice appearance, everything was neat and clean. Our waitress was Mel and she was terrific. That was disappointing considering several of us work in the service industry. He was guaranteed a tip because of gratuity. Visited the area back on 8/31 and was excited to find a GF spot as we are admittedly fans of his. We patiently waited with a rather large group of people outside in anticipation of opening and were one of the first groups to be seated. The restaurant is nice inside. It has the kind of ambiance you would expect of GF and it was lively and fun to look at, yet the vibe was pretty chill. Our server Bilei was very nice but seemed a little frazzled even though they had just opened. We thought the service was very slow, even though Bilei did not have a lot of tables while we were there. The food was "ok." Nothing too exciting and dying to go back for. Our server entered my husband's order wrong and it had to be changed. Everyone in our party had finished our entree before my husband received his food. He didn't receive any kind of an apology until we were getting up to leave and it was really flippant. They didn't comp the server's mistake or even offer a bit of a discount. I thought that was poor service. Guy's in Branson is the first celebrity restaurant I've ever visited. In town from the Des Moines IA metro; we arrived shortly after open on the Friday before Labor Day. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. The booth was comfortable. Our server (Maria) was amazingly attentive and knew the menu from top to bottom. We ordered the jalapeño pig poppers. I ordered the crazy Cuban with chili cheese fries. My gf had the crispy chicken bacon ranch sandwich with the fries trio. Iced tea and water. The food was as good as our service. The jalapeño pig poppers are a must try! Freaking magical! Overall it seems a little pricey, but that's kind of to be expected with everything being from scratch and given the marketing... The portions are huge and we took a to go box home with us. Along with the food it's a bit of an experience and we bought a few pieces of Guy swag too. We sat at the bar for cocktails and appetizers. First, it took a while to be serviced and they weren't even that busy. The drinks were super sweet. Not sure if it was the mix or if the bartender didn't make them correctly. I even sent one back to try another and it was the same super sweet experience.
