Mild Soft + hard shell taco on the right (orange one is the hard shell (spicy))

This time I tried all the different tacos to compare them. Little G plain quedilla was too thin. Mini chicken cali burrito was decent. I will say their guac is incredible. The 2 soft tacos I tried were the flour and the corn. The flour is better overall. The corn was breaking and not good tasting. Two hard ones were insanely over seasoned and I'd for sure never order them again.

Place is definitely a vibe and a good place to hang out after work and it's across the street from the rosemont arena. It's new spot opened up and so far the food is good and they give you your money worth. But the only thing is the soft shells are really small though. Other than that the meat is definitely juicy and good. I well be back again and they are really friendly here they greet you when you come in.

Whoo! G Y G is sizzling. They opened one in Evanston last spring (see our review). This location is with a drive thru. I had chicken burrito. PS. I was the first one to review.

Skeptical about mexican restaurant chain and an Australian company. Well there was a line because it is the first day. Their staff are warm and welcoming. They have a system so the line isnt that bad of a wait. The place looks clean and has nice decor. Today was $5 burritos. Very tasty and yummy. They have same format as Chipotle, I ordered the bowl with the steak, spicy with sour cream. For me, it is better than Chipotle. They serve margaritas too. I hope this will be the same experience all through out. I am a fan now.

Apparently it just opened. Crew knew and still learning. Breakfast burrito. Bacon & egg spicy. Good size, heat minimal. Lots of chunky pico. Avocado toast mild. Good portion and flavorful. Hash brown standard deep fried. 1 drink. $14. Good good, price reasonable and competitive. Staff needs a little time to learn the systems. I'd come back.

Located in a strip mall, there is ample free parking. Staff is unassuming, professional and helpful, willing to help with any menu questions. We came for lunch to celebrate a birthday and it was an excellent choice. The menu has a lot of clean eating options, including vegetarian and keto. We opted to share a lamb pizza, a tomato and cucumber salad and a meat tray. All were excellent, plenty of food. The pita was excellent. The tea at the end was lovely. Since it was a special occasion, we finally had the opportunity to dine here, and I made our reservation through the Resy app. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. The first thing that really caught my attention was the atmosphere. The restaurant was converted from a church, and I absolutely love how they preserved the original character of the space. The high ceilings make the restaurant feel open and spacious, while the beautiful stained-glass windows add so much charm and personality. For appetizers, we started with the Shrimp Saganaki and Lobster Maki Roll. Of the two, the Shrimp Saganaki was our favorite. We enjoyed the presentation, flavor, and texture, which were all right up our alley. The Lobster Maki Roll was good, but in my opinion, the lobster-to-rice ratio was a little too heavy on the rice. For my entrée, I ordered the Brick Chicken, which was served as a chicken quarter leg. It was cooked perfectly--the skin was crispy, the meat was tender and juicy, and the garlic sauce complemented the chicken beautifully. For dessert, we ordered the Banana Sticky Toffee Pudding served with vanilla gelato. It was phenomenal and the perfect way to finish our dining experience. I also have to mention the service. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout our first visit. The restaurant went above and beyond to make our anniversary even more memorable by surprising us with complimentary champagne and dessert with a sparkling candle. That thoughtful gesture truly made the evening special. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food were all a hit for us. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner and left with a great experience. They've definitely gained another loyal customer!

The diner has a classic, retro feel with a checkerboard aesthetic that gives it a traditional diner vibe. It is not very modern or trendy, but it is clean and well-kept, which is really what matters. The space feels simple and comfortable, making it a place someone can visit regularly for a quick, reliable meal. The menu is very straightforward and features typical diner staples. The food was pretty good, but the dishes were very basic with nothing particularly unique about them. It felt like the kind of food you might make at home, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it wasn't especially memorable either. I ordered an egg sandwich with cheese and sausage ($9.95). I also ordered bacon on the side (3 for $4.25). The egg sandwich was okay, but the bagel tasted like those cheap bagels you would get at a hotel during their complimentary breakfast that come from a bag. The sandwich didn't have anything on it other than exactly what they called it on the menu: a bagel, sausage links cut in half, an egg, and cheese. Nothing on the sandwich was seasoned or flavorful. My husband enjoyed his food much more than I did, and he ordered the Big Texas Breakfast ($12.95). This came with country-fried steak with sausage gravy on top, 2 eggs your way, and hash brown potatoes. He also ordered sausage links on the side (3 for $4.25). The service was friendly, and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time, which worked well for us since we were on a bit of a tight schedule. Overall, Lola's Diner delivered a simple diner experience with homemade-style food. I would come here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice for breakfast.
