Loved the aloo parathas, mango lassi drink and paneer masala. Food was really delicious. The paratha came with daal makhani which was a nice touch

Since we were set on Indian cuisine, we decided to stick it out, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The drinks were tasty, refreshing, and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was also some of the best I've experienced in quite a while, which made the long wait much easier to overlook. If you enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend Aga's Restaurant. Just be sure to avoid Saturday nights unless you're prepared for a very long wait!

AMAZING!!! I have…read morebeen here a handful of times and finally convinced my husband and his family to try it for the first time. I joined the waitlist online before arriving because if you know Aga's, you know there's always a long line of people waiting outside! It took about 40 minutes for our group to be seated, but once we were sat down, the service was pretty quick and the staff was very nice. We started off with a pitcher of mango lassis for the table. It was delicious! It's basically like a really thick mango smoothie. It is pretty filling though, so I suggest taking it slow to save room for the main courses. I'd give it a 9/10 -- it would've been a 10/10 if it had been a little colder. The chicken lollipops are a MUST every time I go. The color is a little intimidating because you'd assume they're extremely spicy, but they really aren't. They're super flavorful on their own, but the side of chili sauce takes them to another level. 10/10. We tried the dynamite shrimp for the first time, and they were amazing. The shrimp were crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. 10/10. We accidentally ordered the wrong thing and ended up with the samosa chaat (not pictured). We were a little skeptical at first, but ended up pleasantly surprised. The combination of flavors complemented each other really well. 8/10. For the entrees, we ordered the chicken Peshawari karahi, chicken tikka masala, signature chops, and Aga's platter. Everything was great. For beginners, the chicken tikka masala is a great choice. It's a tomato-based curry with a little bit of spice. 10/10. The chicken Peshawari karahi was my first time trying it, and I loved the flavor of the curry. Something about it tasted very homey. I just wish they had a boneless version because it would definitely become my new go-to dish. 9.5/10. I didn't really get to try much of the grilled bbq entrees, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. 9.5/10. We paired everything with 1 large white rice and 4 garlic naans, which was enough for our table of 5. Overall, I love this place and will definitely be back! 10/10. Note: we did try the Fresh Paan outside, unfortunately it was not my cup of tea. But the floral notes left a really nice fresh feeling to my mouth lol.

One of my biggest surprises in my recent adventures to Sugar Land was finding Naseeb, a seemingly…read moresmall and family owned Indian spot that has been around for many years. Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner. It came with jasmine rice and I ordered a garlic naan to accompany the dish. As I said, the dish was good. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the paneer was above average. Unfortunately, the portions were small and I did NOT consider paying over $20 for what you see in the pictures a value for my money. This is one of my favorite dishes. I've had this dish hundreds of times over the past 30 years. I found the paneer a tad bit spicier than I like, and it led me to wonder was that a mask to cover some deficiency. I sampled the dish prior to leaving and noted. Something was missing regarding the flavor profile. Unfortunately, I can't identify the missing ingredient.(s). I called and placed my order and it was ready at the time quoted. I was promptly greeted when I entered the restaurant. In my opinion this restaurant does not offer value to the prices they charge and servings offered. GN3

The restaurant felt very clean (something you can't always expect at an Indian restaurant). Service was friendly. However, I thought the food flavor was just average. I enjoyed the pakoras but the gobi manchurian flavor was too sweet for my taste.
