Great Indo-Pak cuisine. My wife has been on a rice kick lately and she ordered Chicken fried rice and it was very good and plentiful...we ate on her leftovers the last two days. We shared everything and I thought it was better than she did, everything had a little spicy heat which I love and she can't handle anymore. I enjoyed my chicken tika masala, the leftovers were just as good for dinner. We enjoyed a garlic nan, ate half at the restaurant and half at home....tasty! We need to try more Indo-Pak places since there's a plehtora near us and we'll be back for more at Savoy.

We went here for lunch on a Monday. We ordered one of the Monday specials, tawa goat, paneer, garlic naan, and mango lassi. Overall, the food and drink are delicious! The place is big and the staff was helpful in describing their dishes. We will definitely come back here.

Nut Allergy warning - They were about to make the halwa Puri without nuts, but the servers had to clarify with the kitchen. Order - to - Food: 19 Minutes We got here at 10:30AM and were easily seated with five people. The restaurant filled up a good amount by 11 AM. For five, we ordered the Anda Ghotala (Goat) and two orders of Halwa Puri (with four extra Puri). Surprisingly, they did not have their "Special Tea" ready early. I got regular tea instead. Anda Ghotala (4/5): Very flavorful. The egg is basically scrambled into the dish already. Halwa Puri (4.5/5): Awesome portions for a brunch for the value. Perfectly flaky puri and a slightly sweet halwa. Served with a chickpea with a very nice spice. Service was a bit slow and had to double check multiple things for our orders (availability of dishes, allergies, etc.). Overall, I'd definitely go back for the value here.

Great food and their special comes with Lassi! I'm completely filled even tho it didn't look like much food. There was lots of delicious bread/naan and basmati rice. I do love carbs and they have a good amount of meat too. Only thing missing is I would like a bit more veg than just the carrot and onion plate

Amazing food. I haven't seen many Pakistani restaurants in the city I live in, Seattle. So coming through Houston with friends we had to get some Pakistani food and it was incredible. The bone in goat curry had me sweating bullets but it was really good with the garlic naan. The meat was tender and the gravy flavorful. The server was nice as well so I'll be back next time I'm in Houston.

Great food! Spectacular! I'm willing to say that this may be the best Indian/Pakistani food I've had in my life. The staff is incredible, service is stellar, the restaurant is beautiful inside very spacious, clean, and the food matches the service with its excellence. Their Naan may be the best in the city of Houston as well. The flavors and texture of the bread are absolute deliciousness, it pairs well with all the yummy food. I recommend the garlic naan. We ordered the special grilled platter, the Chicken Tikka Masala, Mango Lassi, Chicken Biryani and tons upon tons of Garlic Naan. Wow! So delicious, I would definitely come back.

The service was splendid and the place was clean. The naans were delicious. The seekh kebab had good flavor however a little on the drier end. The chicken bihari was tender however I felt inside was undercooked. Overall the food is decent and deserves a 3.5/5.

Nice place with great service. The food items at Savoy are super flavorful and the quality is great. Everything we tried was worth ordering and reordering. I especially enjoyed their goat biryani and mixed vegetable dish. I look forward to trying their special weekend breakfast menu and other items.

Honestly. Pretty damn good. The curry came out in a pot that had fire underneath to keep it warm. I really appreciated that. The food was great. Good flavor. Definitely hit the spot. I love that it came with an egg. Definitely recommend coming again.

But then I learned about the mac and cheese... And saw that there is an option to add brisket to it. Done deal. And getting a pint was the perfect amount because I was nice and full after. The way the place is laid out, you go in, hop in line, and then claim a table after paying. A science specifically says not to hold the table before paying because it's unfair... First time I have seen a sign like that, but I get it. Honestly I was expecting just a sprinkle of brisket on top of the mac, but it was a hefty amount, and WOW WOW was it good! I added both of the homemade sauces to my food so I could taste the differences. The kick was nice, but I really did love the sweeter one. The sausage was good too, but I wish I got the jalapeno cheese one. I had opted not to since I already had so much mac and cheese. As if the barbecue wasn't good enough, they had a bar with a really friendly bartender who is eager to give city recommendations. It was thursday, and they had tequila deals, including some very strong $6 margaritas. We only did one round, and that was all we needed. We were also able to watch the World Cup game there. It was a total vibe and I know I would go back whenever I visit again. Geez, what is the other BBQ like in the city?!

We tried the turkey, brisket, and jalapeño sausage, and every one of them was delicious. The brisket was especially impressive--moist, incredibly tender, and so soft you didn't even need a knife to cut it. The sides were very good, but the meats were definitely the highlight of the meal. One thing we really appreciated was the toppings bar, which included pickles, onions, pickled onions, jalapeños, and two different barbecue sauces so you could customize each bite. They even had a mini soft-serve ice cream machine for a little dessert after your meal, which was a nice touch. They also offer family meal options, making it a great choice for larger groups. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. If you're looking for excellent halal barbecue in the Houston area, Levant is definitely worth a visit!

The kitchen line has lots of workers happy to help with questions and let you see/try anything you are not sure about as they have some non-traditional options for a BBQ place. Having said that, all the food options work so well together. I got brisket and chicken. Chicken was fine but I'd skip it and go brisket all the way. It was so tender and juicy. They have several sauce options. You can't go wrong with any. They were in the middle of construction/expansion but there are still lots of seating options in or outside. I would definitely go back here instead a typical BBQ place. The flavors just hit so well together. And the Mediterranean style is clearly a healthier option. The cocktails are unique, beautifully presented, and well balanced. We started with the paani puri, which was also presented beautifully. The crudo was a refreshing way to begin the meal, while the shrimp added a nice savoury contrast. The highlight, however, was definitely the butter chicken experience. I would come back for this dish alone. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was incredibly rich and delicious, especially when paired with the naan. I honestly haven't had a better butter chicken since. Overall, Musaafer delivers a memorable experience through its atmosphere, presentation, and standout dishes. He said it was "a better choice" and that they were out of tallarines. I told him clearly that I did not want lomo saltado, but he kept insisting, so I just took it to avoid arguing. When we got home, the real problem started -- both chickens were undercooked, tough, and hard to chew. This is a nicely sized spot next to the Jusgo plaza in Houston Chinatown, so plenty of parking and also food options. It's tucked in a corner but should not be written off. Its a pretty casual sitdown restaurant and we were welcomed and sat pretty quickly on a Saturday around 8:30PM. We were provided menus and started ordering everything that sounded good (within reason for 2, sorta). We ended up getting the Uyghur polo with lamb shank, Uyghur goshnaan, korma chop, garlic cucumbers, mint tea, and a yogurt for dessert. This was more than enough food for 2 but I wanted to try a bunch and this is me holding back. The Uyghur goshnaan was very crispy and the filling was flavorful and juicy, good lamb flavor and nice spices. The Uyghur polo with lamb shank was great and the pilaf had a nice sweetness with raisins that cut through some of the fatty richness of the lamb. The korma chop was also super flavorful with a nice savory sauce and noodled with an excellent texture, very QQ. I don't usually order cucumbers at Asian restaurants cause I can make a cucumber salad pretty easily at home but the one here was very good. Excellent refreshing crunch and garlic flavor to go with all the other dishes. The mint tea was also nice to wash down the mountains of food I was inhaling. I also enjoyed the yogurt, it's a thicker yogurt like a Greek yogurt and topped with honey and raisins. Again, a nice sweet/tart treat that didn't feel too heavy after everything else. I definitely need to come back as I didn't even get my big plate chicken but it'll be hard to choose between all the options. I def recommend this spot, esp if you like lamb as all the dishes we had were excellent and priced fairly for the portion and current economic situation.
