Chicken biryani is good. There's a two for one takeout special, so super great deal. It's served with lemon and raw onions, and a yogurt mint sauce. The rice is good. I wouldn't order this again though. The chicken is served bone in, which reminds me of something I could make quickly at home out of convenience, not something that I would go for at a restaurant. I ordered samosas from here, sixty eight to be exact. They were a hit and especially the smaller beef samosas amongst my guests. Y'all... Don't. Sleep. On. This. Place There are a lot of Indian/Paki restaurants in Houston and particularly in Sugarland. I've tried a lot, and yes they are good, but something always throws me off and I don't return. My last adventure with Aga's I vowed not to return after I ordered takeout, went home and discovered they don't give any rice or bread with the palak paneer. Like whaaa? Anyways I digress... Randomly got takeout from here and when we went home we were absolutely floored. The portions were beyond generous. For real. Like I've never seen anything like it. Yummy goat biryani + the 3 veg special and at a great price too - ordered on the phone and the food was packed and ready when I arrived for the pickup. Horrible experience from moment walking in. No one to greet you or tell you where to sit. When someone came out got seated at not one, two but THREE dirty tables when there were no customers in sight but 4 employees either sitting or in kitchen. Got told the butter chicken comes with rice and side salad (onion and 2 carrots). When served after 30 minutes being the only customer inside, was told it only comes with the "salad". In COMPLETE honesty am considering this a mafia cover restaurant with the customer service and food that came out, they do NOT want returning customers. read more

As a society, we should aim to do better and be better. With that sense, let's retire "5 minutes" every time we're giving guesses for ETA. If it's gonna take 20 minutes, let's use "20 minutes." We are better than this people. I ordered 6 naan and was told it would take 10-15 minutes. 20 minutes later, I was told "5 minutes." 15 minutes later, I received my food. And this was at a time when the restaurant was empty (guess that should've been a sign). The timing of all that does not add up, and after all that wait they tried to give me some excuse as to why it took so long. As if 35 minutes of wasting my time wasn't enough! I was craving chicken 65 and decided to come to eat here after work. It's a nice place and the service is super friendly and great! It seems like it's a family owned business and our waitress was very helpful with the menu. The chicken 65 here is on the sweeter side for me and it was okay. We also ordered bullet naan, chicken tikka masala, masala fries, and zeera rice. These items were phenomenal! Will be coming back to try other items! read more

I'm surprised at the low reviews. I actually enjoyed this place. The ambiance is great. Very clean and use real dishes versus paper plates other restaurants use. The prices are slightly high but I think for the area it's pretty reasonable. We got the Peshawari karahi (goat), butter chicken, and chicken tikka, and chicken corn soup to start. The karahi was slightly salty and oily but cmon it's Karachi style! Even the naan was good. Dessert was average - lab-e-shireen (maybe a bit overpriced) but presentation was good. Overall solid experience. Location is good. A nice touch, the manager (Nusrat) came over to make sure everything was good. read more

But now that the Covid cases are rising again I thought I'd bring this to their attention. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and there were no customer in the restaurant. When we walked in we were told to sit wherever we can, so we found us a spot went and set there. She made us some great recommendations and as per her recommendation we end up getting a karahi and fish tikka. It took them almost 45 minutes to bring us our food, while waiting for food I notice that the young girl at front did not have her mask on and the older gentleman who was in and out of kitchen (we were sitting right across so I could see inside) did not have his mask on while he was in the kitchen, however he would put it on every time he would come out in lobby! I really hope that they follow guidelines while cooking food inside the kitchen when no one is watching but I felt it was very irresponsible of the lady at front and this older gentleman. Now final part! Food, Grilled fish was one of the best I've had in Houston. Karahi was good but extremely spicy for us. I really wish them best in future and I really hope that their employees take all the precautions to keep their clients and themselves from harms way. read more

I order take out for my party at home. here'd great reviews about it. Part of one of our order was chicken Malai Botti. it is a grilled item. when we stated to eat, center of meat was cold. Apparently it was grilled earlier and then reheated. other items were also not as hot as expected. realized it was Friday, which was Eid day and they probably had several orders but this does not justify this. I was planning to take the food back but had too many guests and couldn't do it. Instead I called to complain. lady on the phone acknowledged my order. I was told that someone will call back. I am always looking to promote and try new restaurants with my family. Unfortunately this restaurant has made me think twice. We had such a poor experience from ordering take out and trying the food. What did we learn from this experience 1- this restaurant has a mishmash of a menu claiming to offer various cuisines and fusions. However the Chinese meals truly demonstrated the lack of authenticity. You can call it fusion , Indian inspired or even Chinese the truth is it was none of the above. The food was extremely salty, over cooked , terrible in taste and very poorly packaged. 2- chicken corn soup is served in a 32 oz cup, yes the same cup you would get your favorite soda from in a gas station 3-chili chicken w: gravy means a lot of chicken dipped in soy sauce. Before you go on this roller coaster think twice. Wishing you the very best. I pray the restaurant does well and this was just a covid era. For me this is a never repeat scenario. read more

We had takeout from here last night and the Shahi darbar fish was a savory delight. It's so sad to see all these restaurants struggling but takeout is a great way to support them. Apart from not having to cook, they offer so many in house deals that we got enough food to last for 2 days! The grilled chicken malai boti, tikka boti, seekh kebabs were all good. We had lunch here a few days ago. I'll start with the food. It was very tasty. We had some tava gosh, dal, Nihari and biryani. The Nihari was my least favorite because the meat wasn't tender and they didn't give us ginger, chills and cilantro (I asked). The biryani was flavorful but I kept getting pieces of spices in my mouth that I kept having to remove. We also had samosas which were good. The masala grilled fish and the goat chops were exceptional but the service was not great. I'd give them 3.5 stars. read more

We went here at the beginning of December and unfortunately left unimpressed. The decor was very nice and not typical of an Indian restaurant. The prices were also above average for Indian food. However we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food and ended up taking it to go. The brought one small salad as an appetizer for our table of 3 adults plus 2 kids. For the inconvenience the restaurant gave us 10$ off our food. We had the mixed grill platter plus chicken Karai. The mixed grill was very chewy while the chicken curry did not have much sauce on it.
