GWB Juice Bar may have rave reviews but quite honestly I wasn't a fan at all. For the area it's in, I was completely shocked at the prices to begin with, but figured it was still worth a try. I got one of their green smoothies with protein powder and didn't like it at all. It was pretty gritty and watery at the same time- not good. I wouldn't return back. read more

I got The Boss, large size. The drink was ok. Very watered down & bland. This cost $7 + 40 cents surcharge for using a credit card + tax. Came out close $10 for this one drink. Not worth it. Although, when I came back a separate time and tried one of their samples, it was really good. Might just have to come back and try a different drink or food item. Convenient place though to grab something before or after your bus since it's right inside the GW bus terminal. It's a tad bit tricky to get to if you are coming in from the street. You can find it at the back exit of Marshall's/ 2nd floor of the terminals waiting area. Or if you are coming from the A train, it's much easier. It's the 2nd floor right by the escalator. read more

I went here Yesterday January 31st First of all I ordered a purple rain which has Blackberries Blueberries carrots and beets she put Raspberries which it didn't call for but I loved raspberries so I didn't mind then she put some of those fruit in there but she had a jar that had Carrot juice in it and one with beet juice when I asked her what it was she said we juiced the carrots and beets ahead of time so I'm like ok I'm like that's good then i ordered a hulk it had celery cucumbers and supposedly Fuji apples which she didn't have she also poured the celery in the blender which once again she said they juiced ahead of time at the time I was like oh that's good but thinking about it now you are supposed to juice EVERYTHING ON THE SPOT IF ITS A JUICE BAR AND EVEN IF EVERYTHING OR SOME THINGS ARE JUICED ALREADY It should still be liquid/juice form not Smoothie form all thick anyway when I got home and drank it it was chalky and kind gritty and kept making me cough irritating my throat I tried to spruce it up the next day by putting it in the blender again and adding orange juice but that didn't work So I just threw the shit way. Basically it was a waste of $20 now thank god I didn't pay for it a nice gentleman offered to pay for my order which he did so unfortunately it was a waste of his money read more

Friendly owner with caring demeanor. Small store front with an extensive menu. Great prices despite its prime location in a busy bus station. There seems to be something for everyone (healthy, fast food and everything in between). I got the "protein high" which includes blueberries, raspberries blackberries and cashew milk. Given the name, I wondered if a scoop of protein was included. The owner clarified that these fruits were in the category of high protein and that it was naturally lesser sweet than others. I chose to add a scoop of protein (I saw Orgain, hemp hearts and a few other powdered stuff on deck) for what I believe may have been $2 extra. The juice was as described. Before I left, owner asked me and others if we lived nearby and gave us a little discount incentive for the next time we visit! Looking forward to tasting the sandwiches! read more

This place is officially my neighborhood go-to. Everything is super fresh, tasty, and just the right amount of sweet (had the Purple Rain & Green Goddess so far). Also, I had a Cuban sandwich that was so flavorful. Tbh it might give other neighborhood spots a run for their money, especially places that claim to have the best Cuban--I'm just sayin! On top of that, GWB Juice Bar is a true local business, so it feels great to support the Heights. The customer service is on point and they really make you feel at home, even from inside the bus terminal. :) read more

We discovered this juice shop via Facebook and made the trek there and we're so happy we did! Not only was the service great, so were the smoothies and hot dog. It is a little hard to find in the terminal but the quickest way to get there is through the Marshalls. They also have sandwiches and and açaí bowls which look great and we look forward to trying them next time. My boyfriend and I know several juice spots around the Washington Heights area and this is by far the best. If you can't make the trip, they also deliver via Seamless. Highly recommend it! read more
