At this point apologies mean next to nothing when they're so empty and this isn't the first time that we've had this issue. The next day they're cleaning the grill. Another day they're only taking cash. At this point, I'm convinced the restaurant's primary business model is finding creative reasons not to serve food. I never know if I'm arriving at a fast-food restaurant or interrupting a team-building exercise. The employees could probably write a bestselling book titled "1001 Reasons We Can't Take Your Order Right Now." When they're actually open and functioning, the food is fine. The challenge is successfully navigating the side quest required to place an order. If your goal is to eat at this Jack in the Box, I'd recommend bringing patience, backup dinner plans, and perhaps a priest to bless the drive-thru before attempting entry.

I was impressed with the various chicken sandwiches. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo and the food came out quickly. Fries and sandwich were fresh. Othere people have complained here of slow counter service. That is because the vast majority of customers use the drivethru, so employees are usually working that side. The dining area was barren during my visit, but plenty of cars drove through. I was too full to try a frosty, but that vanilla strawberry frosty sure does look good. I will be back for that

At one point we noticed bags sitting on the counter (I don't know for how long). We decided to walk up and check. No one had called my name, but indeed it was my order. We upsized a combo to get large fries. The fries were loaded very sloppy and the holder was less than full. They didn't come to the top and there was space on the sides. My husband usually eats them on the way home. They didn't last till Willcox. Usually I share the fries with him. We both agree that they are some of the best in town. The sandwich came out promptly. The young man recognized me from the local high school and we chatted a bit since no one was behind me. His manager also recognized me.
