Not to mention the henna design itself is excellent!!! I provided a few inspo photos, some motifs I wanted included, and let her freestyle the rest! It turned out even better than I imagined. Karissa works with you and the time you have -- whether that means thin vs. thick lines, heavy vs. light design (more whitespace), Karissa has it all covered. She and her colleague also did a great job for our guests! Very efficient, quick designs that everyone was so happy about. Overall, highly highly recommend Karissa and Henna Happens for your henna needs!

She also does travel around the island doing special events and occasional pop-up so keeping updated by following her is essential because she's simply amazing! I've been wanting some henna and with my work schedule it has been a challenge not to mention the pandemic has put a shift on some I used to see. Well I was fortunate to see her have another pop-up at Keep it Simple location in Waikiki another of my favorite place, she was just so comforting and calm I was instantly in zen though I was excited to finally have experience some of her spectacular art. She did have some binders filled with various images and prices which of course I saw several that instantly fell in love with but none struck my heart. Since she was still working with a few other guests I decided to glance at her Instagram and saw just what I wanted and knew it was it. 2022 will be four years since I lost my best best friend something I will never come to terms with and a Disney fanatic is an understatement and is not from Hawai'i but absolutely fell in love with the islands enough to move and settle here so with that she came up with my henna and gave her the freedom to do it all! She does have two types of Henna (brown/red color) and Jagua (black/navy color) I did mine with Jagua and reasons may vary so she will consult with you with what may work best. http://www.hennahappens.net is her site for any questions and appointment requests. Absolutely stunning art that gave me some peace and zen to celebrate the blessed life with a friend that's priceless. Thank you!

Very disappointing. I hired Glass Guru based on the ratings here on Yelp, to replace the broken…read moredouble-pane glass on my back door. The customer service was good throughout the process, and communication was clear. Since the glass had to be custom ordered from the mainland, the turnaround time of about a month was understandable. The price was also on the higher side at $1k, but I accepted that given the custom nature of the job. However, for what I paid, I expected a higher level of workmanship. Unfortunately, the final result did not meet those expectations. The quality of the work--especially the overall finish of the door--was disappointing. In my opinion, when a company completes a job like this, the area should look the same as it did before (or at least close to it), just with the repaired glass. That wasn't the case here. Maybe expectations can vary, but for me, the outcome didn't reflect the level of quality a reasonable customer would expect at this price point. Based on my experience, I can't say I'm satisfied with the final result. Now I need to find someone to fix what they did to the door.

Have you ever dreamed of custom designs specifically for your Pets?! I certainly do! And yes I'm…read morethat pet parent. We're a unique breed and our Pets are probably treated better than your real children. Lol. I've seen her in the past drawing at Hana Tea. Her designs are amazing! Like seriously they are so life like and the details are on point! Pricing is super expensive! I'm not going to lie about that. But there's times where she does put out some specials and they're affordable. Sometimes you dream of having things and they mysteriously align during covid when you have a lot more time on your hands. I've gotten several digital specials. The most expensive was a custom order that was on sale. But I got to have both dogs drawn the way i envisioned it to be in my head. My dog was newly diagnosed with diabetes and some other things so she could not have a typical doggy bday, so I commissioned a drawing instead. The completion date was not until December but I inquired if I could have it earlier for her birthday gift. I asked if she could design a birthday party in a sunflower fields. She even added the Koolau mountains in the back. The piece was beautiful and everyone loved it. It was also my last favorite memory of being outside freely with the both of them disease free. Literally. Now she has dirty chai sketches daily for October. You have a chance to win a digital or hand drawn piece from her which is amazing. She'll do about 3-5 a day on YouTube. And if you don't win then don't fret. You can buy one later for $20 if you liked that particular theme of the day! But how to win is you just gotta be a good guesser so it's a hit or miss. I was lucky to have won in September and October. And I must say it's pretty intense in the chat rooms, but we all just need to chill out cause she's nice enough to do so many and for free! You can find her on Instagram: Sheilachenart. She does a lot of giveaways and contests. I just don't like to participate in the contests cause it stresses me out. One time I deleted my entry and had contest remorse. But check it out! We dont have our babies forever so something like this will be super sentimental in the future.

Unfortunately when I walked their garden department they didn't have any. When I asked an employee for help he responded that he only does "Plants". I asked the cashier about purchasing the exchange tanks for propane. She had to call someone to check if they had any (although online they showed 253). She directed me to the self checkout at the front of the store to purchase and pick up. Cashiers up there were swamped with customers and told me they would call someone to help me get my tanks exchanged. It took a while but they finally got it done . Their pricing is inline with other home improvement stores on island. Nice store too bad about the service level.

We bought it 1 week ago and figured exchanging it due to defects should not be a problem. We brought the item back at went to returns and exchanges customer service. We were greeted and told it would be faster if we take ourselves and grab the new item then come back to do the exchange. We did that, then were told at the register by the same worker, that the item was not eligible for an exchange due to it not being purchased and returned within 48 HOURS. We bought it 1 week ago, brought it back in original packaging and with the receipt. What's the issue?? She called her manager MARIA to assist and possible get an override. We waited some time for MARIA to show up, and at this point we had a long line behind us. When MARIA showed up, she disregarded the customer in line including myself and husband. She spoke very disrespectfully to the other worker and asked if she could use a register. Which then she logged on and said "what's wrong with this one" in a rude tone. She did not help assist, and visibly looked like she hated her job and did not want to be there. In my opinion? You can leave sis. Don't show up to work in customer service everyday if you obviously hate your job. We were told we need to go through the manufacturer themselves and get the "approval" before we can come back and get our item reissued. This is bullshit lol and the workers here are a legitimate joke. For future customers? I would stick to city mill and Home Depot. You'll get top of the line service at other companies with the same quality of product.
