Someone recommended going to the Jerusalem Bakery over this location. This location is Greek not Halal like the JB. I won't eat Halal food. The animals are killed in a inhumane manner. So I recommend you don't go there. This location has many fresh ingredients. They hand cut the fries here and fresh make the sauces... Including the ranch (which I prefer over the Greek sauces). The portions were large and plentiful. There are so few choices in this area that are non halal, I will return here. read more

Maybe it wasn't a good day today for this place. Ordered the gyro sandwich combo, the sandwich was meh... Skimpy meat portion that was not sliced freshly and flavorless! Hardly any yoghurt sauce in the sandwich! Fries were over fried to a red color, chewy and over salted! On the other hand, Baba Ganouj was very delicious and the rice pudding dessert was yummy. Ricky drove all the way from suwanee where he works one day just to have lunch with me (I work in alpharetta). We decided to try this place because it was not too far from my office (I have a shorter lunch break than him- boo!). Parking is better in the back. When you go in, the two brothers are very sweet and make you feel right at home. The interior is very clean and pretty mural and pictures of Greece. It reminded me of the family trip I took not too long ago there. As for the food it is fast, big (maybe not to a guy but big portion to me!), and delicious. Decided to head here for lunch today since my daughter loves Gyro's. The price was great for the amount you got. She loved her Gyro wrap and I thought it was a bit too salty. I am not a huge salt fan and just felt there was too much in the meat. The tzaztiki sauce was really tasty though as it had a good amount of dill in it. I love dill! read more

Just delicious. I have been here a few times and I love this place. The gyro combo is a hot fresh and hearty portion of gyro meat,sauce and tomatoes and veggies. You get a large portion of fries with a salty topping. I also like the entre where the meat comes with salad,rice and pita bread. The service is friendly. I will certainly be back. read more

Great Gyros! Overstuffed and quite tasty. Fast friendly service. Inside is more like a take out joint but comfortable and clean. Mythos (Greek) Beer, Heineken, Buds, Miller and a few more. Pretty awesome Greek place. The hummus and pita are so good, as is the Greek salad. The gyro meat is seriously amazing. My only complaint is the olives on the salad were just regular black olives and not kalamata olives. read more

A little while after I started eating they brought out a fresh basket of fries because he said mine were cold, I honestly hadn't noticed but I really appreciate that kind of A+ service. I definitely recommend Gyro King! The quality is good, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. A good value for sure. We like to order our food to go since this is more of a counter-order type dining. Their parent restaurant is Taverna Plaka and the same quality is carried out here in this Alpharetta location. Service was...welll...taking the order was a chore, person didn't understand us and had a hard time working the cash register(that person left right after we ordered). Got the gyro combo, the Greek fries were amazing! The gyro had the most tender lamb I've had in a while and the veggies were fresh. Pita was soft and easy to chew but still strong enough to soak up the extra tzatziki sauce. Price was reasonable for the amount. Will return for sure. read more

Terrible. Probably the worst gyro I've ever had. The meat tasted like cardboard and I'm pretty sure it was reheated in the microwave. Salad was drenched in brown Greek vinegarette. Hamburger was huge and overloaded with some spices, my kid hated it. French fries were very greasy. Plenty of better choices for Gyros in the area. Don't waste your time and money. read more

I was greeted immediately and asked for some modifications to the gyro. This was no problem and done perfectly. The fries were home cut and very good. Horrible experience! I don't recommend this place and will never return. I ordered carry out ( 2 gyros, a gyro salad and fries). I didn't check my order prior to leaving, only to get home to find that all the gyro meat was hard and burnt. It was tons of meat that was dark, hard and burnt. When we took it back with the receipt, they were extremely rude and didn't give us a full refund. Never again. They will learn my money is green and it spends, just not there! In responses to the owner: We salvaged the few pieces of meat that we could because our son needed to eat dinner ( it was Sunday and it was after 8:00 PM). Also, I provided a tip on that carry out order that obviously was not deserved. Morale of the story there was no way your staff didn't see the amount of hard, old, burnt meat that they gave, yet they were okay serving it. Shame on them. As for my other reviews yes I'll give a restaurant a low rating if I find hair in my food. Lastly I wish I would have checked Yelp prior to eating at this place because I see the review referencing the roach in this establishment as well. Take the feedback and hold your staff accountable to do better by people that patronize your business opposed to trying to shame people for providing their experience. Never again, there are other places in Alpharetta that treat customers better via the food and the service they provide. This is now a non issue because we won't be back. read more

WOW! Great Gyro place! To start the portion size is great, and the price is great compared to the portion size. The fries are great, I think fresh cut from potates in house, reminds me of Varsity fries, which I love. If you like a gyro this is a must try. I will be back to try something else, but sometimes if a place has a great gyro it's too hard to even think about something else. Am I right? Normally I try something different every time I visit a place, but when it comes to a good gyro, I just stick with it, and the only thing to change is the appetizer or side item. read more

We've been driving by this restaurant for quite a while. Finally decided to stop in and see what we thought. My wife and I both had the Gyro combo, we were delightfully surprised. Gyro brothers does a better than average gyro. I was a little disappointed in the gyro plate I got as it really didn't have much meat, no tomatoes or lettuce. Had absolutely nothing to complain about here. The gyro was a decent size and came out hot with fresh toppings. They didn't scrimp on the tzatziki sauce either! The fries were awesome! They were fresh and handcut, not just frozen and poured into the fryer from the bag. If there was only 1 inconvenience about going it was just that Gyro Bros did not serve Coke products but I won't hold that agaisnt them. Can't wait to go back! read more
