    Falafel And Hummus
    Steve A.

Cheap looking place for Greek food. Gyro City Grill has basic things like falafel and hummus. It comes out fast, but it's slightly better than fast food is. Has a drive thru for those in an even bigger hurry. This may not be good, but it's cheap and quick. Crappy looking exterior makes it easy to be tuned off by this business. It looks like another one of those former Taco Bell's that have been turned into Greek restaurants. To their credit, it had something of a remodeling though. Came here to get lunch to go. Went through the drive thru. It wasn't terribly that fast. They messed up the idea of fast food on this time. I had a falafel pita. It's $5.50 and comes with lettuce and tomatoes. The falafel was barely warm. It definitely was cooked though because it was hard. This had to have been precooked. I also had the hummus. It's $6 and comes with a couple of pitas. This was okay, but it was kind of bland and tasted not that fresh, like it was from a tub. It was nice the pitas had no charge. That would have been a dick move if they pulled it off. I probably won't bother with here again. It's cheap but the taste somehow still isn't level to the price. The best thing is that it's cheap and convenient and good if you don't care much about quality and taste.

    Chicken Kebob w/rice

The cashier was very nonchalant when I walked in. After I placed my order she just looked at me, I finally said that's all and she gave me a total. I ordered the chicken kabob with rice. It took about 10 minutes for my order. I took it back to my hotel and was pleasantly surprised. I live in Detroit right on the border of Dearborn so I'm very particular about my Mediterranean food. The chicken was super moist and flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly and the veggies were roasted which added a little texture. I wasn't a fan of the sauce they include. It tastes like a mix between ranch and Caesar. The side salad was served with the same dressing but I didn't use it. The salad tasted as if there was some sort of oil on it and it was good with no dressing. This was a great find while in the area for work.

    Spanikopita

So I just found this Greek restaurant near where I live. The service was great. I had the gyro platter with a Greek salad and spanikopita (spinach pie) overall the food was really good and satisfied my craving for Greek food. It was better than some food I've had in the past at Greek festivals in Florida. However, this is a quasi fast food place and doesnt really compare to my favorite place in Florida which is Mezes Taverna. The meat was flavorful and a big portion. I had to order a second pita so I could make two gyros from my order. The tsatziki was a little odd. I think it was mayonnaise based rather than yogurt based, so minus a star for that and having to order a second pita. I'll be back and will try the hummus and a dessert probably bakhlava

Food is perfect! The warm pita and meat are so good! The veggies are fresh, which makes the gyro so good! The fries are cooked to a nice crisp and yummy seasoning are on them. The staff was very friendly and inviting. We ate inside and it was nice and clean!

This place is clean! Food is made to order. Staff is nice. Young but nice -glad to see them giving young adults an opportunity to work. I watched the lady make my food and when I tell you she gathered all the ingredients as if she were cooking for herself or her family VERY FRESH! I was able to eat off of this meal for 2 lunches. I recommend and will be back.

They are so nice here and it's right next door to Wingstop, who knew

We got the number 3 (2 of them) Number8 (1of them) and the total was 31 dollars and some change. The customer service was incredible I think the crew were teenagers but they did great work. The food was great everything hit all the right spots. I will go back anytime

Shrimp Salad. Comes with 2 sides of dressing and a pita.

Service was rude. We wanted no side of fries or rice and they still wanted $20 for a chicken kebab. I'll pass

It's fast food Greek. But an astronomical jump in price for delivery. $20 for an average gyro salad. Come on!

There is room to sit down and eat but I took mine to go. The two women I interacted with were great! Cordial, helpful and friendly. I received my meal very quickly! Where to begin...the fries, that I tried before I started the car to head home, were hot and perfectly cooked. Soft in the inside, perfect crunch on the outside. When I got them home, they were still crispy!! The gyro is huge! Should I eat the whole thing? No. Will I eat the whole thing? Likely. The seasoning on the chicken reminds me of the lamb I usually get with that same soft yet seared meat. The sauce is just wow! The baklava is 3 pieces in one, can't go wrong for $5.50. Tender, sweet, and delicious!

Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars

I started with the Cauliflower Tahini Soup, followed by a build-your-own salad bowl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Minty Pink Lemonade. The soup had a rich, creamy texture, though I found it a little too salty for my taste. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I loaded up my salad bowl with lentils and rice, mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, crispy onions, pita bread, chicken shawarma, brisket, sweet beets, pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled cabbage, cauliflower tabbouleh, marinated eggplant, and finished it with Brassica's roasted garlic sauce and tahini. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and full of contrasting textures. The combination of crisp vegetables, savory proteins, and creamy spreads made for a hearty, satisfying meal that kept me full long after lunch. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was exactly how I like it--crispy around the edges with a slightly well-done finish and plenty of chocolate in every bite. To wash it all down, the Minty Pink Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, complementing the bold Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Overall, Brassica is a great option for a quick, customizable meal made with fresh ingredients. While the soup wasn't my favorite, I'd happily return to build another salad and try more items from the menu.
