Gyros are really good, we've had the lamb and beef. However greek fries are not worth it. Customer service is good though

Mouthwatering chicken kabob plate with gyro!

Best chicken kabob plate in Seattle - delicious, juicy, perfectly grilled jumbo chicken kabobs. Love ordering this with gyro, as the gyro plate is equally fantastic. Chicken shwarma is also extremely tasty though not your traditional shwarma, more like a tandoori chicken - still yum! Flavorful falafel with delicious house hummus - perfectly crisp on the outside, moist on the inside. Have loved ordering chicken kabob plate, chicken shwarma plate for dinner - need to try the chicken shwarma sandwich and falafel sandwich for lunch! House garlic sauce is very addictive - you've been forewarned. Service is warm, friendly, prices are very reasonable, portions are huge, food is fresh - great, local discovery!

This place is so underrated! Stopped in tonight for some takeout. Gyros, Greek fries, and baklava. Everything was fresh and soooo good. You can tell the folks cooking are putting love into your order. Pita bread was fresh and soft unlike a lot of other gyros spots in town. Ambiance was quaint and welcoming. I loved the shaved feta, and the Tzatziki was unreal good! It has a nice garlicky punch that I haven't seen anywhere else. I really loved the baklava too. Consistency was perfect, not too sticky/wet. Reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be back and highly encourage anyone reading this to go show them some love!

A small spot tucked behind another restaurant serving up yummy Mediterranean eats. It has a real small-business, family-owned vibe to it. I stopped by for a quick lunch and everything was affordable and tasty. I got the eggplant sandwich and it was really filling and good! The flavor was delicious but it tended to run on the oily side. Pita bread was delicious too. The baklava was solid -- not overwhelmingly sweet. They make everything super fresh for takeaway, so would recommend ordering ahead or prepping for a short wait. Overall, would totally come back!

I decided to give this place a try as it's somewhat near my work place. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich online and came there to pick it up. They are behind d'la santa which makes them almost invisible. The sign of their store is not very apparent. Maybe because of covid-19, but the restaurant looks like someone's kitchen. I thought I was at the wrong place until someone came out and ask if I was picking up an item. I never had chicken shawarma before since I tend to get the beef/lamb gyro but oh man, this sandwich was delicious. It was very hardy and filled with chunks of perfectly flavored chicken. It was also packed with lettuce and tomatoes as well. I literally had a food coma after finishing it but I couldn't put it down. The pita bread was thicker than most places but it was toasted/warmed up so it had a subtle hint to crisp. Overall, definitely a nice hole in the wall and I will definitely be back for another lunch meal.

Excellent Food. I got Chicken Kabob plate and all the flavors are so perfect. The food was on time. And it was freshly prepared. The Kabobs were cooked at right temp to give good flavors. And even the rice was fresh along with salad. I liked how good amount of pita and sauce was provided. Must try if you are looking for good Mediterranean restaurant in Seattle city. I found it on Uber eats. They have good falafel and lamb too. Authentic food along with sweetdish.

This place opened within the last year just down the street. Have gotten takeout twice and it's our new favorite gyro place + great value! Good portions, thick/warm pitas, perfectly seasoned gyro meat, fresh salads. Fries are also amazing here! Potato-y with a nice crispness. Oh and the tzaziki sauce here is the best I've had. Idk what about it but it's the perfect combination of creamy and zesty! The gyro salad is our go-to option when we try to eat low carb. I will say it feels wrong resisting the toasty warm pita bread.

This place has really great food! I love the chicken Kebab plate and always feel satisfied and full upon leaving. I will say if you walk in it's a little dated but the man who runs the place and cooks is very friendly and welcoming. The food never disappoints and is a really great price as well. Although I will mention with the place being dated and kinda hard to find it's not somewhere I would go for a really nice meal but it sure is quick and delicious!

I recently had some business at the nearby King County Administration Building and, after paying $12 for an hour of parking, I didn't want to spend too much more on lunch! I passed Gyro House on the way back to my car, and popped in to take a look at their menu for something I could grab and take with me. The smells inside the door were incredible. Spicy, savory, honestly I was pretty much drooling by the time I got up to the counter. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Wrap to go (although I'd had my eye on the falafel - it was hard to choose!), and by the time I was done ordering there was already a huge line-up of people. I'm glad I arrived before the crowd! I waited about 5-6 minutes and out came my freshly-made, piping hot sandwich, which was really a pita wrap filled with incredibly tender, deliciously-sauced chicken plus veggies and lettuce. It was the perfect portion for a lunch on the go - not too big, but enough to fill me up as I continued on with my day. Next time I'm nearby I will 100% be stopping in to try their falafel. The salads looked good too!

Yum! I ordered the chicken kabob salad, lamb gyro and falafel plate. Really good. The spot is right off the road so you might not see it, but it is tucked behind D'La Santa on 10th ave. The building used to be a Thai place and just changed over toGyro House. Happy to support a new local business, especially during covid-19.

When my food came out, I was pleasantly surprise that my salad came with an order or fries as well and the portions of my meal was gigantic. Everything was made fresh to order and the food was pretty tasty. The chicken was fat and juicy and and they didn't skimp out at all. The fries was a little on the salty side but it was still good. I manage to eat the entire thing but ended up not being able to eat anything else the whole day. Service was standard. I'm not sure I would call this place a Greek place but the food is tasty overall.

I decided to check Athena's out during the…read moreBellevue Food Truck Chow Down event, as it was the only food truck with Mediterranean food, which I'm a huge fan of! So you can imagine how pleased I was that Athena's was at the event. But the food was very disappointing and not something I would eat again. I ordered the Greek Salad with gyro meat, which cost me over $12 with tip. Once I got my salad it didn't look appetizing. I was surprised that the salad is made up of iceberg lettuce versus romaine, which I normally find with Greek salads. And since it came with cabbage and carrots I can only assume that the lettuce came from a mixed bag. That wouldn't be so much of an issue had some lettuce not been wilted or turning brown. Not amused. But what may be worse was the overcooked and heavily salted gyro meat. Not only that, but the gyro meat was very thin, so I do not think it was a rotisserie cook and shaved off like how gyro meat is normally made. I cannot believe I wasted $12 on this. I will not be eating from Athena's again.
