Today was a busy day for us arriving in Seattle, and we decided to order Mediterranean food through Uber Eats. First thing I noticed--Seattle feels much more like a DoorDash city. This was also my third time having Mediterranean cuisine here, and unfortunately, it still hasn't been great. I ordered a Mixed Kabob Platter and a Lamb & Beef Gyro Platter with hummus and pita. The meats were tough and didn't taste fresh, while the hummus and pita were bland and lacking flavor. Back home in Atlanta, this cuisine is always full of flavor, so this was disappointing. In addition, the meal didn't include any complimentary sauces. Usually, you'd expect a cilantro/garlic sauce of some sorts or a tangy lemon-butter sauce to round things out, but none were provided. Best Falafel in town IMO. Good service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I'm a regular.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. The service was quick and we were able to get out food quickly. We ordered the shish kabob plate and chicken gyro. The chicken gyro was good but nothing crazy. The chicken was well-seasoned. I also loved how soft the pita bread was. It looked small, but the gyro actually kept me so full the entire night. I woke up the next morning still feeling full! I had a few bites of the shish plate as well but thought the rice was very dry. If I'm craving Mediterranean food next time, I'll definitely come back to try other things on the menu. read more

I would say the best deal is the Lamb shank - it's huge - you can see the picture. And it's enough to share for 2. So yummy! They do charge an extra fee if you use credit card - 3.5%. Chicken Tikka and garlic sauce were the stars of the show - just excellent and very delicious!! Chicken Shawarma wrap was just okay, and it was a huge soggy mess. Chicken gyro wrap was much better and tasted fabulous!! Lentil Soup was good but not very flavorful. Hummus & 2 Pita was very good! Six Piece Falafel was also good. Greek Fries were very good but slightly soggy. French Fries were disgusting, nothing but grease and soft, soggy potatoes. read more

This was borderline 4 - 5 stars. There were some things at this restaurant that were truly top class, like the flavor and consistency of the rice in all of their dishes. The cornish chicken was succulent, juicy, and flavorful. 10/10 rating. I downgraded to four stars since I felt the lamb shank was a bit dry and the lentil soup also felt a bit subpar. read more

Mint & Olives has me shooketh!! Saw as a popular eats on Ubereats so thought I'd give it a try. I got the Chicken Shwarma and it comes with a pretty decent size side salad separately. THEIR CHICKEN SHWARMA WAS THE MOST TENDER PERFECTLY SEASONED meat. The garlic sauce was chef's kiss with it too. MUST TRY if you're around the area. Love love love. read more

I catered Mint and Olive for some guests I had in town for a rehearsal dinner. I have to tell you, the food was fantastic! Mint and Olive went above an d beyond to work with me to cater to a changing guest list up until the day before. My guests were raving about it! They fed about 30 people and the food and flavors were just right. Naz was so helpful through the whole process and I can't thank him enough for working through the changing dynamic of our out of town guests with me. This place rocks! This place was close to our hotel and we love this type of food so we decided to check it out. We just got the falafel Wrap and a side of fries to go. It took quite awhile for them to make our food. But it was OK we weren't in a rush and we knew it would be fresh. The prices here are very reasonable and fair. And the staff were friendly. The wrap was delicious but messy to eat. The falafel were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. The fires were your typical fries but cooked perfectly. Solid place for dinner and a snack just know it's not super quick. read more

This barely missed 4 stars! I wish I could leave a 3.8 review, which is great for middle eastern food in Seattle. Though the parking situation left something to be desired, I highly recommend parking at Metropolitan Market for free (with any purchase) and walking over. The restaurant itself is small and has a basic interior but it's clean and cozy. The staff are friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. I have to say that the beef shawarma was good but didn't quite give me that "eyes roll back comfort food" feeling that I've had at other places. However, it's a solid choice to fill that shawarma sandwich craving. The bread, made in-house, was very good and authentic but maybe a bit too thick for the amount of ingredients. The beef was a bit overcooked, but not bad. The shawarma could have used a bit more seasoning to really take it to the next level. Be sure to ask for extra garlic sauce and hot sauce to add to the sandwich, it definitely needs it. The menu pricing is where things fall short. For 2 shawarma, 2 fries, and 2 canned soda, the bill came to a bit over $35 before tip. I believe the pricing is a bit too high for what you get. Overall, I will definitely be back but I might consider opting out of a drink or something to make the value match the cost. read more

We had been here before and had gyros, which were excellent. Today we had lamb shawarma, which was tasty, and had lots of vegs in it, but several of the pieces of lamb had inedible gristle. We also had chicken shawarma platter, which came with a huge amount of rice and chicken, and was delicious. Great flavors, some was a little dry. A nice size salad came with the platter. We walked in mid Saturday, 3/30/2024, just one other customer already eating. Walked up to order and were greeted, but then the phone rang and she said we could take a seat and she'd take our order after the phone call. We sat. She remained on the phone (should've put this person hold). During the call, two other customers walked in and waited at the register. After she finished the call she didn't even look in our direction, proceeded to take the orders of the other customers who came after us. Bummer. Got in late from a flight and this place had good reviews so thought we'd give it a shot. First of all, the chicken kabob I ordered was completely raw and I took a big bite and swallow before realizing it as did my 2 year old daughter. Basically just waiting for the food poisoning to hit now. Secondly, The rice in the plate was so dried out and old that it was completely inedible. I really wish I can give this place a 4.5 star!!! I saw this place while walking on my lunch and decided to order for dinner. After reading through the reviews of other yelper, one caught my eye regarding the lamb shank, and right away, I knew that's what I wanted. I got the lamb shank with extra meat and pita bread. The dish also came with rice and salad. OMG the lamb shank was amazing! It was soooo tender, falling off the bone. And the bone had a little bit of marrow in it which was a plus. The extra meat I ordered was 2 skewers of different meat but I couldn't recognize it, but they were also really good. The lamb shank kinda overpower then though. The rice was also one of the better ones I had. Flavorful and definitely absorbed the juice from the meat really well. The pita and salad was standard. Service was fast and easy. This is the best tasting eastern Mediterranean food I've had in Seattle in my humble opinion! Everything I ordered was delicious, from the lamb to the fragrant and seasoned yellow rice, to the salad, to the falafel! The taste of the falafel is spot on and tastes exactly like the ones I had back in Jerusalem yea moons ago! Usually places cheap out on seasoning the yellow rice, but every bite of rice was packed with tons of aromatic flavor! They have great selection of fast and delicious dishes and my favorite is the chicken shawarma wrap, which comes with a good amount of chicken ($11). They also have great gyros! Street parking only near here and on a busy street, so recommend walking over or taking public transit when possible. read more

This is for a visit back on 2/11/20 with The College Friend. It was a cold day before attending an event at the Seattle Opera House. It was definitely welcoming to come in from the cold walking along Mercer in Queen Anne. It was relatively new back then, we were the only ones onsite. The counter person was not particular upbeat, but what mattered was that our selections were hot, on point, tasty and a terrific value. I found it interesting at the time, boxes of facial tissues at each table, instead of napkins. Hope they are still hanging in there during the pandemic. read more

Delightful little Mediterranean joint in Queen Anne. We were so thankful they were open during the crazy Seattle snowstorm. Prices are fair for the location and the portions match it. We grabbed a falafel salad, hummus & pita & Chicken shawarma wrap for the next day. Great service and really nice people working the counter! Falafel salad is fresh and simple. Pita was warm and soft when we got home and the hummus had a really good creaminess. My feedback is I wish was a touch more tahini. Overall great place to check out when you're in the area! Best thing I've put in my mouth in a long time. We went before a 6pm hockey game and were the only ones there. Thankfully, we came early enough because there was a longer wait than expected as they get a lot of door dash and pickup orders. This is another small independent business that has popped up last year in lower Queen Anne. It is clean and the owner, who also works here, is very polite. He was very helpful with all of the questions I had about the menu. I have been coming here for a while and I enjoyed all of the sandwiches I have had! I really like any of the lamb choices and if you're a vegetarian you should try the Falafel. It was pretty solid. They also have a vegetarian sandwich which was also good but I'd definitely go for the falafel! They have Greek fries with a white sauce and feta. They are okay but I'm a fries purist so I just prefer regular fries if I'm going to eat fries at all. If you're in the area give this place a try! read more
