Okay where do I start with this place.. 1 I do not like the way the menu is set up it's a bit sloppy. But overal the man over the counter is super nice he was patient while I stood there wide eyed and at a loss of what to order from here. Soo I'm standing there and saw Greek fries so I ordered Greek fries and chicken gyro. They were quick about it was done in like five min. So I get home open the bag and everything was wet my gyro was leaking oil or something over everything!! I open my Greek fries and was like wtf are you joking! Hugh clumps of feta no sauce nothing just soogy oily fries and hug clumps of feta like what the heck.. I had to drown them in ketchup and that sill didn't make it better.. Then I unwrap the super oily greasy gyro. It's the sloppiest I've ever had but honestly it was super good very well seasoned the chicken was good. And as I'm eat I bit into something hard!! I open it and a freaking TOOTHPICK!!!!! Was inside of it I wish you could of saw my face! I was shocked it ruined a perfectly good gyro!! Make it a lamb shawarma sandwich, spicy. I prefer this to the gyro. They've had great baklava the few times I've indulged. Very friendly owner and staff, unfailing clean, reasonably priced for what you get. I wish it were a little bigger and more comfortable to eat in, but it's great for a quick stop or to go. read more

I tried the chicken shawarma plate. I'm not a fan. The cuts of chicken were definitely not in my taste (ligments and tendons, etc) for the price ($12+). Plus the place is totally a dirty mess. I'll give them a try again, but perhaps a different menu item. read more

Normally pretty good, and actually delivers. But this time someone who didnt speak english took my order, after battling through what I wanted first said it would be 20 minutes. Then 30. Even had to ask her if she wanted my address and phone number. After an hour, called to see about my food and THEN they took my payment method. Said driver would be here in 5, but I heard her talking to the driver about my address in the background!! Sloppy at best, don't let family work in your restaurant if they don't know how. read more

Gyro Hut is no nonsense good food, great service, great prices. The proprietor is polite and kind. He comes over to you and asks if you enjoyed your meal. It's quiet here because everyone here is too busy eating. You get a great meal for a good price. Lamb Shawarma is delicious. read more

Without a doubt the most mouth watering Gyro I have ever had in my life. My boyfriend and I eat here once or twice a week and haven't had Gyros anywhere else since discovering it. The meat they use is by far the best gyro meat we have tasted. Not only that they pile it on high! Whenever we walk in we are greeted like friends. Even if there are another 1 or 2 people in line Amin always gives us a "Hi you guys! How you doin". Super friendly, and they treat us well too. I couldn't believe it either but this place inside a strip mall actually rivals the great Mr. Gyro. The guys that work here are not as handsome and charming but they make a mean lamb gyro sandwich! My usual order is the lamb gyro and the salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. Sometimes I throw in a Greek fry if I am ordering for delivery. (they wont deliver without a $25 minimum) read more

Quick stop for dinner, an enormous shawarma platter with garlic mayo fries - so damn good it hurt.

Hands down, they have the best Chicken Shawarma in town. I absolutely love chicken shawarma, so whenever I see it on a menu, I have to try it. Of all the shawarmas I've had (and I've had a lot), this place is the bomb! Their shop is super small, so I wouldn't really eat there. But I get take out almost every week. I get $2 ordering from Eat24 too. It's the highlight of my week. read more

I was hoping to find a new Gyro place in northgate since all other greek places up here are not the best shall we say (not counting Mr. Gyros but that's in Greenwood). My overall score reflects my feelings exactly... Meh, their gyros are not awful, but at $8 a pop just a little overpriced and it took them about twenty minuets to get my order ready even though there was nobody else there, lol. Seriously, the place was dead empty so I think they forgot that I was there because when I finally stood up and asked if my food was ready yet the guy looked surprised or confused then turned around and and asked his buddy something in a different language then gave me my food... so yeah the service wasnt the best either, but I really don't care about the service if it is a good Gyro, sadly however, it was not. read more

These guys are amazing! They where closed and I ordered through this app and it was received by the Man I Usually see running the store. Everything was broke down in the kitchen and the chairs in the dining area where up and everything was being deep cleaned after the holiday. My point to all of this is that my request was received when it was at a off time and could have just been canceled, but he prepared our Meals for us anyway! We love this place. It is always friendly and the food is consistently good. I believe their house made hummus is the best I have ever had. I usually get a beef gyro and my wife usually get a chicken gyro. I do not think that you could go wrong here, no matter what you order. I give Gyro Hut a very strong recommendation. read more

On my lazy days when I don't feel like cooking, I like to come here and get chicken schwarma. Lucky for me, I recently bought a deal on groupon or something and I can't wait to come back her on another lazy evening. I typically, don't cook for myself on days i have something urgent to complete for school or exhausted from being in clinic. I'd have to say that I cannot rate this place 5 stars because I have not tried everything on the menu. The only thing that I have tried is the schwarma and gyros! Just got lunch delivered. I am incredibly disappointed. After paying $30 with the delivery fee and price, I got a gyro that was so full of grease it leaked out into my baklava and made it soggy. The meat on the gyro is barely edible, being so tough and tasting grimy. I got one ketchup to go with a big order of fries. Please work on this. This was a complete waste of money. read more

The food here is good, but they take a very long time to deliver. I live less than a mile from the location, and last time they took 2 hours to deliver. This time, they are at 1 hour 10 minutes and counting. read more

I got the falafel salad because I heard they do a good Greek salad. It was pretty good. Lots of stuff in it. But the falafel was too crunchy and altogether too salty. Don't get the falafel here. read more

I've gone to this place alot and I have mainly had their falafel. I tried their lamb schwarma and I was not impressed. My mom had it another time and loved it. I have come to realize it depends who works there. Some times the food is fresh and perfectly seasoned and sometimes its the total opposite. read more

Gyro Hut is a decent place to stop and get gyros at. I'm used to eating gyros in Wisconsin where they are incredible. Sadly Gyro Hut is not nearly as good... but it is better than most of the Seattle alternatives. Didn't expect much when I walked in. The place is tiny (4 small round tables + some bar stools). Ordered jumbo gyro and schawarma plate, and they both tasted excellent. The meat was very tender, full of taste, without overpowering, the sauce was just right. Didn't know what to expect of "jumbo," the portion wasn't over the top, but still hearty enough. The chicken achawarma plate was above expectation. My wife kept on saying that it tasted very authentic (but then again she nor I know much about Mediterranean food). I ordered jumbo gyro in a combo meal with fries, but apparently that's not what they heard. The owner/manager just gave us a basket of fries on the house anyway. I thought that was very nice. While we were sitting there eating, there was constant people walking in, and they are not super fast with filling your orders. So calling in ahead might be a good option if you are short on time. read more

This is a friendly little eatery in a corner of a strip mall. The food is good and not terribly expensive. $10 - 12 for a plate meal $7 for a generous Gyro to go. The people are unfailingly friendly. There are a few small tables and a lunch counter but generally you will want to get this to go. In the summer there is dinning on the sidewalk out front - this is pretty relaxed. If you come by at 8:30 - 9:00 you will find a lot of cabbies picking up some "down home" for supper. If you like middle eastern food give this a try. read more

I've always been disappointed in the past trying new gyro places, none of them seem to live up to my favorite go to gyro place. I shouldn't of waited so long to try this place. Their lamb and beef gyro is amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of their tzatziki sauce, it was more fluffy than runny. Lots of food for the price. Fries are great, jumbo Gyro is top notch, and falafel is good. Not to mention good service at both Lake City and Northgate locations. Only bummer is that the delivery minimum is $35...that means we need to eat A LOT of food myself on lazy sundays when I don't have the effort to get my own takeout. I've tried at least 10 different Gyro places in my life and this one has the best Shawarmas in town, hands down, no contest. Go get your chicken shawarma freak on at this place even if you have to drive from downtown or further.
