This place has good food, but apparently new management that can't treat customers fairly or get orders right. The previous staff were friendly and competent (and faster), and got me in the habit of going weekly. Since the staff changed, they've gotten my order wrong 3 times. The same order, in the same way, after I complained. Like many people, I avoid red meat for health reasons. The first time I ordered chicken and got beef, there were other customers waiting for their food, so I chalked it up to a lunch rush mistake and let it go. But it happened again--I ordered chicken and got beef. So I mentioned it when I ordered on my next visit. I ordered but added that I wanted to make sure I got chicken, since I hadn't before. The woman didn't apologize, or try to trace what happened, or offer anything to compensate for the mistake. She didn't even listen to me before interrupting defensively. She declared that it's the customer's responsibility to watch what they put on the grill for your order. Which would be difficult when it's busy and you're trying to stay 6 feet apart. It didn't seem to occur to her that the business taking your money should endeavor to give you what you paid for, or simply apologize and compensate for a mistake, without a fight. (I work in customer service and spent years in food service, and this is really awful treatment of customers) On THAT visit, I did get chicken. And yet! Today I went for my chicken gyro. They had me repeat my order, and I added "chicken" for a 3rd time. I thought this had been sorted out. But I got home and unwrapped my food to find beef yet again. I called to say it happened again, and I'm sick of it. They said I could come back to get a chicken one, perhaps implying it would be free. I don't have time to go back during the work day to argue or get the right food. I only have 30 minutes for lunch. But that's Strike 3. They're out, until they change management again. I won't go back. If a restaurant wants to stay in business, it has to give you what you ordered. Stay away! Been here 3 times now. Once got sick from cold meat. They are super rude. When you order online, you ask for your food when you get there (it is never ready when it should be) and when they do finish your food they look so put out. I ignored it and gave it a pass when I went to the older lady and told her their tzatziki was frozen. (She said their refrigerator is too cold and offered to give me a small container of it.) But when I checked my card account a few days later and noticed that they charged me $49.++ for one of their specials and a can of Coke, I called the lady asked me to come in person which I did the following day. Whenever I have a craving for gyros, this is usually my stop for it. Located in a small mall like plaza, this place has consistently delivered yummy gyros. The wait is never too long, and the gyros itself will always leave you feeling full and satisfied. The restaurant itself is pretty small, so if you're in a big group, I would highly recommend getting your food to go. They also offer delivery but do note there is a high minimum required. For the gyros, my favorite would definitely be the lamb. Cooked with a slight crispy feel to it, the lamb does not disappoint. If you're super hungry, you do get the option to upgrade your single gyro into a meal that includes fries and a soda or water! I come here mainly for gyros, so not sure on the other dishes. However, if you like sweets, I highly recommend trying out the desserts. Most of them aren't too sweet and are perfect for ending your gyro meal. Meats are wonderfully done, spices are just right, and if you request something spicy they add a lovely hot sauce that tastes of garlic and fresh spicy peppers, might be sriracha? Either way, delicious. Veggies and greens in the salads taste very fresh. I can't have dairy myself but my friends swear by the tzatziki, and I adore their hummus, comes with a nice pinch of cumin, some olive oil, and some olives atop it and it just is lovely with the toasted pita or cucumber sticks. My favorite thing to get is the gyro platter since you get a reasonable portion of meat, rice, salad, and sauce with a warm toasted pita. It's a heavy, dinner-sized portion of food. If I had to home up with a complaint it's that the florescent lights in the front of the shop flicker and it gives me a headache, but I usually eat outside anyway so it isn't too much of a concern and doesn't dock points off for me. read more

I loved my gyros sandwich with a side salad. The meat slices were flavorful, with crispier and chewier edges. There was enough of tzatziki to moisten the meat a bit, and the sandwich was neatly wrapped and easy to eat. Request a side of hot sauce if that's what your heart desire (mine did!). The salad had bits of chopped olives, banana peppers, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers on a bed of romaine lettuce. " He avoided eye contact again so I had to guess that he was talking to me. My gyro meat and lettuce (tomato was missing) was sad, like I was for not going to Aladdin or at least a business that values their patrons. There must have been a change in ownership recently because service in the past was always extremely friendly. 1 star for service, 2.5 for the gyro.
