Listen!!! They have a forever customer out of me. We were looking for something clean to eat, and my usual spot is temporarily closed (sad face ). A simple Google search brought us here... and I'm so glad it did. We walked in and the man behind the counter was super friendly. We asked a bunch of questions, and he patiently explained what comes with what, what tastes better, and gave great recommendations overall. They have a screen playing behind the counter showing all the food they offer, and one dish in particular caught my eye. I decided to take a chance on it, some kind of chicken and lamb situation (don't ask me the exact name ). All I know is... it was GOOD. And listen... pickles and jalapeños in the dish?! WHO thought of that? Two of my favorite things, just casually added? Wow. Genius. Oh, and the bread... pita? Flatbread? I don't even know the proper name, but GET EXTRA if you can. It was soooo good. I fully planned on going back on Christmas Eve but they had already closed at 6 (another sad face ), so we had to settle for something far less tasty. Very disappointed today . Instead of making my order fresh , they decided to give me someone else's order that's probably been sitting for a while . I took the first bite and sure enough it was cold ... I'm not going to go out of my way to go back so I'm stuck eating it since it's my dinner . Terrible experience. We purchased 3 lamb over rice platters and 1 had a hair in the food and the other 2 were very small portions compared to what we usually get. We called that night and spoke to manager Brian who promised to "make it right" if we returned, but when we did, it turned into a huge argument between him and my husband. Instead of apologizing and resolving the issue, he became defensive and confrontational. Customers deserve respect, especially when there's a legitimate complaint about food safety. We will not be coming back. Gyro King was a choice and we were not looking for a free meal and that's exactly how we were made to feel. I do not recommend this place. It was good, not blow me away good, but good. A combo over rice with the fries and drink were more than enough for two people. The white and red sauce were delicious, and a little necessary for the dry chicken. The lamb was good. I was a little confused as to the veggie add ons- Olives? Corn? Why? After waiting 10 mins I asked about it and they were like oh what did you order? They weren't trying to figure it out or solve the problem they were just waiting for me to say something and taking multiple guests ahead of me. We've frequented this location for nearly 2 years and the standard has been the same. We always order the meat combo or the lamb over rice. Portion size is quite generous for the price. Meat is always tender and vegetables are always fresh. I typically request no olives and pickles because I don't think they go well with the dish. I wish they'd also add Naan bread on top like the Halal guys because I love the bread! I've tried their juice from apple, orange, and celery in the past and it was very tasty.
