I had a magical experience at H & A Coffee and Tea (Rosemead). I ordered the H&A Tjendol Signature Coffee Latte ($7 - 12oz). It includes a double shot of espresso, pandan tjendol, fiber creamer, and brown sugar. I relished its clean, robust coffee taste. Inside, I nibbled its floating soft, tjendol jellies. I felt awake and happy as I cherished this unique coffee. I arrived at H & A Coffee and Tea (Rosemead) on Friday (around 8AM - Opening Time.) Primary parking is free street parking; street signs say, "2 Hour Parking - 9AM to 6PM - Except Sunday." Staff recommends street parking; they explained that the "neighboring rear parking" belongs to the Rosemead Eye Center. Fortunately, I easily found a street parking spot that early weekday. Staff (named Alex) is very charming, professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Alex happily answered all my questions, and Alex gave wonderful recommendations. Throughout my entire experience, Alex maintained a bright smile and cheerful, welcoming demeanor. My coffee was completed in five minutes and 17 seconds. As mentioned, I absolutely loved the H&A Tjendol Signature Coffee Latte ($7 - 12oz). It masterfully balances utility and flavor. Surprisingly, this coffee was not too sweet; rather, it all tasted thoughtfully crafted. The ingredients are high-quality, and I felt alert & awake after sipping. I found happiness brewed in that cup. Concerning ambiance, H & A Coffee and Tea (Rosemead) is very clean and well-maintained. There's customer internet with password; details are visible by the wall. There's also six electrical outlets. Wonderful!! In addition, there's a gender neutral restroom. However, this location is also somewhat cramped with tiny seats and very small tables. It's not comfortable. My back started to feel sore after attempting to sit on one of the counter's chairs. The interior includes two tiny stool tables and one thin, small counter. Still, I enjoyed the relaxing music that played inside this business. Overall, H & A Coffee and Tea (Rosemead) is one of the BEST coffee spots in the SGV! There's genuine talent and skill at this hidden, new coffee shop. If you love coffee, I wholeheartedly recommend. 4.9 out of 5. GO!!! Just Go!!!

Rating: 3.5/5 It was my first time trying a Tjendol Latte. It wasn't bad but I'm not sure how to describe it/if I'd get the drink again. Maybe it's just my taste buds. Staff was super friendly and it's super cute inside. Would try a different drink if I were to come back.

Background On Co-Owner: Believe it or not, but Alexander is a relative of Uncle Fung Coffee Stall and Borneo. He use to work for them, but his true calling was to start up his own coffee shop. Stage Of Establishment: They had their grand opening on August 1, 2026. Background On Visit: Saw a IG post from the City Of Rosemead fairly recently and was so intriguing that I decided to patronize the shop over the weekend. Wifi: Wifi is available use. Credit Cards: They're accepted Restroom: There is a unisex restroom for all to use. Location/Parking: Located next to A+ Spa. Parking can be found along Valley Blvd. Ambiance/Decor: Small little shop with minimal furnishings to sit, eat, and drink. Service: Service was good. Alex was very friendly, quite informational about the shop, and offered great suggestions. Drinks came out at a decent time. Drink Of Choice (Note: Please note that the cups look tiny, but the regular cup is actually 12 oz. Looks can be perceiving.): 1) Tjendol Latte. Drink consists of pandan tjendol, double shot espresso, fiver creamer, and brown sugar. Liked how it wasn't overly sweet and loved the pandan tjendol. The straws are the right size for the tjendol. H&A Coffee and Tea For Thought: I wouldn't mind coming back to have the Tjendol latte again or their Chrysanthemum Blossom Tea.

Really needed a mid week pick me up and this spot did just that. Alexander was a ball of sunshine. He was so kind, patient and enthusiastic. I hope his dreams do really come true with this coffee shop. Surprisingly the entire menu is really good. They source their coffee beans locally. Will come back soon! Great coffee shop for a date but no solid tables for work from cafe day, they have a small bar seating area facing the street but that's about it. Dirty Matcha -perfect for those crazy morning and days. Double espresso plus matcha on top, say less. Beware it's quite strong but I'm not complaining. Dirty Matcha Einspanner (coming soon)- chef's kiss! Even better than their regular Dirty Matcha. There's an extra depth of creaminess but not overpowering. Perfect balance of both matcha and espresso. Regular sweetness is actually perfect personally (for reference, I order my boba drinks at 50% sweetness). H&A Tjendol Latte -coffee was just right, no sourness at all and smooth. I opted for half sugar level and it was perfect. Texture of pandan tjendol (soft, green, worm-like jelly) was just right, not soggy/mushy at all. Alexander Latte -opted for oat milk which added so much creaminess to the coffee. There were bits of orange zest within drink and paired well with the choco but the coffee still shined through. Also opted for half sweetness with this one and it was personally just right. Mont Blanc -a little less heavy than the Alexander Latte. Just the right amount of creaminess from the cream top and you can really taste the orange in this. Ube Cream Latte -so good, ube flavor shines through the espresso. Ube Cream Matcha Latte -regular sweetness was a bit too sweet, I would personally opt for half sugar. Ube was really good with matcha as well. Coco Ube -almost like a dessert in a cup, perfect for littles. Rosemead Latte -surprisingly rose flavor was not overpowering and paired well with the espresso. H&A Pandan Latte -pandan syrup was chef's kiss paired well with the espresso. Pandan Matcha Latte -you can taste the pandan much more through the matcha. Macha Blanc -so refreshing with a citrus twist. Perfect for a hot summer day, doesn't feel heavy at all. Ichigo Duo Matcha -bits of strawberry in the puree added just the right amount of texture in the drink. Unique and it didn't disappoint. Coco Cha Cha -one of the best I've had. Coconut water was refreshing and paired with matcha well. Chrysanthemum Blossom Tea -a refreshing drink for a hot summer day! Black Peach - freshly brewed to order. Quite refreshing, peach isn't overpowering either.

I've been seeing H&A all over my social media, so I finally stoped by to see what the hype was about. I am happy to report that the drinks and the vibe of this place absolutely lived up to it. The first thing that stood out to me wasn't even the coffee. It was the people! The owner and the two staff members made us genuinely feel welcome from the moment we walked in. You can tell that they care about every customer who comes through the door, and that kind of hospitality is hard to find when all the coffee places in the SGV get so busy! I asked for recommendations, and they took the time to explain their most popular options. The cafe itself was cozy with bright yellow accents that make the space feel cheerful. It's on the smaller side, so I don't see myself working out of here any time soon, but there was still enough seating while I waited for my order. My hubby and I ended up trying two drinks. The first was the Tjendol Latte, which was recommended as their unique creation. The owner suggested giving it a really good stir before taking the first sip, and I'm glad I listened because the flavor profiles came together perfectly. The size looked smaller than my typical latte, but the flavor and the jelly inside was so rich and satisfying. It made a great first impression! My second drink was the Rosemead Latte. The latte has a pink color to it, and I was worried it would taste like food coloring. When I mixed the drink, the pink cream came out bold, fragrant, and floral, exactly what I was hoping for. I also tried their Iceberg Cheesecake and it was not too sweet. There was a chocolate section that took center stage for me, but the whole cheesecake is subtle by comparison. A great sweet to try with the drinks! Parking in this location is a little bit of a challenge because Valley Boulevard is quite busy. Overall, this was an easy 5-star experience. Great drinks, genuinely kind people, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I went during their grand opening, and it got a little crowded because the space is small, but I hope that doesn't stop you. If you've been thinking about checking them out, I'd definitely recommend making the trip.

Recent grand opening and the only place where you can get a tjendol latte! This is the first shop in LA that makes it. The tjendol latte is their signature drink and is inspired by Indonesian coffee culture. It combines rich espresso with creamy milk and a house-made sweetener that highlights flavors commonly found in Indonesian desserts. This latte is comforting, lightly sweet, and well-balanced, allowing the coffee to remain the star instead of being overwhelmed by sugar. It's absolutely delicious and I wish I had two of these lol Their pandan matcha latte and matcha blanc are also delicious. Both are very refreshing and not too sweet. Each drink had so much love and passion put into it. You cannot miss. Service is awesome. I met the owners and they're such lovely and bubbly people. Ambiance is nice. This is a great place to hang out and study. Definitely would come back here. Highly recommend!

A small, charming coffee shop in Rosemead with a super cute yellow aesthetic. They recently opened, so everything feels fresh and new. I ordered the pandan matcha latte, and it had the perfect level of sweetness. I loved how the pandan didn't overpower the matcha. The blend was just right. The barista even poured the matcha over the pandan right in front of me, which was really cool to watch. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Good morning! Everyone should believe in something. I believe I will have another cold tea just because it's 77 degrees outside. Without further ado, let's dive into this new brewtiful review. H&A coffee and tea (est 2026) is a brand new tiny coffee shop on Valley blvd and Rio Hondo in Rosemead. They're literally in-front of Starbucks. Today, I was searching for new coffee shop adventure on Yelp and they pop up. They are Southeast asian (Indonesian) infused coffee shop that serve good coffee, tea and pastries. Their menu has modest compendious list. Shop's interior has yellow color motif with little decoration. Indoor and outdoor seats are very limited. You might find a teddy bear seating next to you at front seats. After perusing their menu, I was inclined to order an iced Chrysanthemum Blossom tea ($6.75), served in a small (10-12 oz) cup. It was very refreshing and delightful; I really like the floral flavor. I enjoyed their welcoming atmosphere, happy staff, spot on customer service and fair price. Street parking only. Overall, I had a nice experience and will try their coffee next time. I highly recommend them. Tootles!

A new hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in the Rosemead area- perfect for a way to start the morning or wind down in the afternoon. Every time we walk in, we are greeted by a smile and nice greeting by staff members; they are very friendly and answers all our questions while giving us recommendations based on their popular drinks! Each drink made to order was timely and well-curated. The Tjendol latte has no milk in their drink but it tasted so well with a beautiful blend of caffeine and sweet Pandan! I would love to come back and try their other drinks as well! We visited during their soft opening and I am so happy they are officially opened every day and cannot wait to see their progress! Will definitely be coming back as this has now become one of my favorite cafe spots in the 626 area!

Rosemead latte - Normal sweetness, very nice delicate rose flavor milk with rose cream on top. Nice floral flavor, not overly sweet. Would absolutely get again. The store itself is really nice and cute. Parking is only available on the street I believe but there was ample space when I went.

Very calming vibe got me right away entering H&A for the first time. Call me lucky, trying to find coffee shop around the area and bumped into it on Instagram. A special place for me, as the owner's home country was same as mine and he's trying to feature that twist into the menu, bringing some iconic home ingredients. Super humble and welcoming hospitality-much appreciated! We got their iconic Tjendol Latte, which was basically chewy rice-flour dessert typically served with palm sugar and coconut milk at home. H&A made healthier twist of it and added espresso, making it a latte and featured pandan flavor as well. Definitely a peculiar one you might wanna be adventurous and try. If you're not into coffee with toppings, I'd recommend the Pandan Latte. If you weren't familiar with Pandan, it's fragrant leaf extract that typically used in dessert. Could guarantee you'd get hooked.

H&A Coffee and Tea is Rosemead's newest hidden gem and a must-visit for matcha lovers. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a smile, immediately reflecting the staff's genuine hospitality. The café itself is beautifully designed, with a clean, aesthetic interior and plenty of comfortable seating, creating an inviting space to unwind or catch up with friends. What impressed me even more was watching owner Alexander prepare my drink with incredible precision and attention to detail. Despite the matcha being hand-whisked to order, it was ready surprisingly quickly, and every step of the process reflected the care that went into crafting the drink. **Ichigo Duo Matcha: 5/5** This drink was absolutely outstanding and one of the best strawberry matcha lattes I've had. The latte featured bold, high-quality matcha with a wonderful earthy richness that lingered from the first sip to the last. Topped with a luscious matcha cream, it was incredibly smooth and indulgent, enhancing the drink with an additional layer of vibrant matcha flavor balanced by just the right amount of sweetness. The housemade strawberry purée contained fresh chunks of strawberry, providing a refreshing contrast to the rich cream with its bright, natural fruitiness. Finished with a delicate dusting of matcha powder, the drink was as visually stunning as it was delicious. It's clear that quality and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything H&A Coffee and Tea does. Between the exceptional service, thoughtfully prepared drinks, and welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a top-tier matcha experience. It's the kind of café that leaves you wishing your drink had lasted just a little longer.
