I've been with Fika Fika since they first opened in Arcadia and I'm glad to see their growth throughout the SGV. I love this location because it's spacious and plenty of tables to sit down and relax. Parking is available on the street. Drinks: I love their mellow blend. They have both coffee beans to choose from. I tried their hojicha tea espresso for the first time and it was really good. I could taste the bitterness from the tea, which I do prefer. The drinks were overly sweet, so regular sweetness is perfect if you don't like sweet drinks. Split for $0.75 (not exactly sure what this means). Extra $1 for waffe cone. They offer free samples. I tried a few flavors... Vanilla Lavender, Coconut Pandan, and Very Mango. Unfortunately, they were all very light for my taste. I prefer deeper flavors. I ended up getting double scoops... Young Coconut Ube and Japanese Okinawa Brown Sugar. I got their matcha ube cloud, Thai tea, strawberry matcha and ube mochi waffle paws, and lychee ice cream to try. The matcha ube cloud was bitter, roasty, not sweet, kinda grainy and honestly wasn't getting much ube flaves even after mixing. The Thai tea tho had addicted bitter sweet milky tea flaves. The mochi paws had a crisp exterior, chewy vanillay mochi interiors. The strawberry one reminded me of strawberry pocky, the matcha one was like a sweet matchay paste, and the ube one was nicely vanillay and nutty. There's a nice spacious free parking lot in the back to park and street parking, There's seating inside and outside. When I came in, most people were studying and doing work. I got the iced jasmine floral latte with soy milk! So happy they still carry soy milk since not a lot of coffee shops carry it anymore. I tried their egg salad toast for the first time and it was so delish! It's a different type of egg salad with feta cheese but it works! I would def get it again. We love fika fika. This was my first time in the temple city location and wow it is so spacious. There were so many tables and areas to sit. We ordered their Japanese Hojicha Tea Espresso Latte and Ube Matcha. The japanese hojicha tea espresso is one of the best caffeinated drinks ever. Perfectly balanced and you could taste the hojicha and the coffee - one wasn't overpowering the other. Fika fika grinds their own coffee beans and it's delicious. The ube matcha was also good too. This is a great place to study and get some work done - wasn't loud at all and there are outlets. Have to lower it because I came all the way here and ordered 3 items with my friend. We got the wifi password but it seems that there's a limit to how many devices can connect to the wifi, which is only 10. Me and my friend weren't able to connect so I counted the number of people with laptop but as soon as one person left I was able to connect right away while my friend had to wait for another person to leave. I feel like the outside doesn't match the inside in that the outside seems so unassuming. I couldn't even find it at first, but thankfully I did because the inside is quite cute...it's long and there's plenty of space that feels like it's heading towards the back. I usually go to Fika Fika in Arcadia, but the Temple City one is actually closer to me, so needing a caffeine fix, I stopped by a little after lunch for an iced drink. It was a hot day, but you couldn't tell from the inside. Temple City Fika Fika is spacious and had just the right vibes for a mellow study/work environment with easy going music and easy going lighting (none of that harsh fluorescent office lighting). Good amount of tables inside with a bench for those waiting for their orders to go. My go to orders have been the lavender or other flavored latte, but I tried something different this time. I got the iced brown sugar roasted oolong tea espresso latte ($6.20), large size with half sugar, mellow wave blend, and half & half. You get a choice of either Fika Fika blend or mellow wave blend. I chose the one with the higher caffeine content to help me get through the rest of the work day. Very refreshing and I can taste the roasted oolong in the drink. Also appreciate that they are cool with using my personal cup for the drink to save on single use plastic. Just FYI -- their iced drinks come in regular 16 oz or large 24 oz size. Checked out this coffee shop after my orthodontist appointment nearby, and it wasn't crowded when I came by on a Wednesday at around 12:30pm. The space is big with lots of seating and outlets, so it seems like a great place to study! I ordered a small Osmanthus Floral Latte, and you get to choose between hot/iced, espresso type, a sweetness level, and milk. I chose iced, their Fika Fika blend, regular sweetness, and half-and-half as the milk. My order came out very quick, and I thought the drink was really yummy! It was not too sweet, and the latte was smooth and not bitter. However, I wished the osmanthus was stronger as the flavor was very subtle, like on some sips, I couldn't really taste it. Overall though, a solid drink! I will for sure come back again to try their other drinks, and I saw they even sell food and ice cream, so I'd try those on my next visit. This time I tried their Okinawa Brown Sugar ice cream, and it was delightfully sweet, almost like a boba drink. Their paw cakes are also a great snack, I particularly like their matcha and black sesame fillings. They're nice and crispy on the outside, but you can really get the mochi texture on the inside. I always get the tabby brown sugar latte or the hazelnut latte with the mellow blend because it's lighter than the fika fika blend. It's my favorite place to grab coffee. I ordered the Cloud Cold Brew Coffee with Matcha Foam ($6.45). It's functional, clean coffee. I appreciated the faint but enduring caffeine. I arrived at Fika Fika Coffee (Temple City) on Thursday (around 12:07PM). It's walking distance from City Hall (Temple City). Parking is plentiful & busy, but it's hidden. There's street parking; however, there's a rear public parking lot ("2 Hour Parking - 7AM to 6PM - except Sunday"). The lot's entrances are accessible from Kauffman Ave and Camellia Ave. Fika Fika Coffee (Temple City) has a backside and front entrance. Unfortunately, Staff was aggressive and terse. Staff attempts friendly greetings; however, Staff disliked questions ("What do you recommend?" "Do you have Customer Wifi with Password?"). Staff wanted to rush me along despite no line. New arrivals might be put off by the terseness and frustration exuding from Staff. My drink took three minutes and 53 seconds. Fairly quick. As mentioned, I ordered the Cloud Cold Brew Coffee with Matcha Foam ($6.45). I appreciated its utility and mild flavor. This coffee is not bitter nor too sweet. The Matcha Foam is creamy, sweet, and soft. When thoroughly stirred, I appreciated how the iced coffee thickens. The caffeine is subtle but felt. Regarding ambiance, Fika Fika Coffee (Temple City) is an exemplary study/work spot. This location is surprisingly spacious! The interior includes 15 tables with chairs, one long counter with tall chairs, and one long bench. The front's outside patio also has three small tables. Fika Fika Coffee (Temple City) also has six available electric outlets for devices. The location has a gender neutral restroom, and there's customer internet and password. However, Staff snappily told me that there's no sign; rather, the internet information is only available from talking to Staff. The location is also very clean (ex: shiny floors & tables); it's well-ventilated ("I love the tall ceiling!"); and its music is upbeat and perky. Most impressive is the acoustics because Fika Fika Coffee (Temple City) did not feel echoey. The location felt subdued and quiet despite the busy chatter from working college students. After a long search for the perfect study spot, my friends and I have FINALLY ended our search after frequenting Temple City's Fika Fika location. We had been searching for a cafe that serves quality drinks, delicious sides, great Wi-Fi, and ample seating, and this location is it! I have been here at least ten times since their opening, and their drinks are tasty. My favorites vary from the Vanilla Cloud Cold Brew, Jasmine Oolong Orchard Tea, and their So Matcha So Cloudy latte. Either way, they also end up delicious! Their sides are on the pricier side, but when I feel like splurging, the Cajun fries and popcorn chicken are always a favorite of mine. Their baristas are always so kind and intentional when making the drinks, making sure to always ask for sweetness and ice levels, which I truly appreciate since I always forget to say 70% sweetness. Whenever I come here to study, there is always a table available, and if not (especially on their busiest days, such as weekends), I always manage to snag one. Although there are not too many outlets, I find that there is always an outlet somewhere at a nearby table that is just at cord length to reach my table. Unlike their Arcadia location, their Wi-fi is reliable, fast, and best of all, free! I do a lot of design work, so I appreciate the fast Wi-Fi to load all the images on my design boards. I'm super predictable when it comes to boba shops and coffee shops. If there is anything osmanthus flavored at all, I must try it. I've been to the other Fika Fika first on Huntington, next to Hmart and always enjoyed what I had there. The ice creams are good (love the Asian themed flavors!!!) and so are the coffees. I love the floral latte series. I got the osmanthus floral latte today, iced. And oh my god, the osmanthus flavor is so noticeable and goes super well with the Fika Fika espresso (you have 2 choices of espresso for the latte). The girl ringing us up made a good recommendation with the Fika Fika espresso as it is a darker roast than the other choice. The bitter notes complemented the sweet floral of osmanthus very well and tempered the sweetness a bit (I'm not a super sugary drinks person). I also got 75% sweetness which was a perfect balance with sweetness and bitterness of the dark roast. If you do want more caffeine and a citrusy note, they have a lighter roast espresso as the other choice, I can't remember the name, but I'll try it out next time. Hubby got the Japanese Okinawa brown sugar ice cream for his cold brew float. SO good. I bet the Hokkaido milk tea would have been a fantastic choice as well. Great location because it's walking distance to Temple City Park. Nice place to get coffee to enjoy while being at the park. Glad to support a small business, especially one with good quality drinks and super nice service. Fika Fika is one of my fave local coffee/tea spots and I was so thrilled to see their newest location open up right across from my fave nail salon! They had all my fave comfort flavors on the menu as well as a ton of ice cream flavors and super cute vibes! I got my usual Butterfly Pea Vanilla latte on my last visit. The quality was there - very consistent across all the local branches. Not only is the drink beautiful, but the flavors are well balanced and delicious with a lovely smooth texture. They have quite a large menu with all sorts of drinks, as well as waffles, avocado toasts, and all sorts of delectable treats. And I really enjoy how they have a little guide next to the register that tells you about their coffee blends being used that day that explains the flavor profiles etc. So helpful! I went with the Mellow Wave blend bc I prefer a lighter roast and it was flawless. There's lots of seating inside and out. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Prices are on par for the area. The location is excellent- very walkable with lots of shops, restaurants, and other businesses. I had a great first experience (as expected given my pleasant experiences with all their other locations) - I'll definitely be stopping by whenever I'm getting my nails done across the street! read more

This place is pretty legit. I like the coffee that they have here as it's very similar to the location in Arcadia. I also got some food here and it was pretty good. Came here to get some work done. I ordered a drink and their mochi paws which always hits the spot. I usually get take out on their items and this is my first time actually staying at the store. First, the place was really crowded and there were barely any open seats. Whatever seats were open, the tables were not cleaned at all. Second, it was very loud in there. Not sure why they crank up the music when majority of the patrons are on their laptops either for school or work. Third, wifi was atrocious. It took me like 10 minutes to just connect and it was pretty slow. read more
