Had them service my vehicle on Tuesday 7/22/25 for an oil change, tire rotation, replace air filter and cabin filter. After all was said and done was told I didn't need new filters after all. That is one of the things I appreciate about this shop they take money out of their pocket and put it back in mine, other shops would have just put in the new ones needed or not and charge away. A friend of mine recommended Jerry's & I had them work on my car 6/2024. The bill was over $2k w the car needing new motor mounts, check engine light diagnosis & replace power steering hoses. I was initially happy & left a great review but fast forward when I found a mobile mechanic nearby who pointed out that my power steering hoses badly needed replacing as power steering fluid had been spraying the drive belt & alternator. After purchasing both power steering hoses, drive belt and pulley assembly from AutoZone I watched the new mechanic replace them all & lo and behold no more leaking. So Jerry's charged me hundreds of dollars for something I had to pay someone else to do a few months later? Got it. Never going back. Side note: my daughter took her car there too & when she picked it up, she was informed that the windshield had been cracked while in their care. They didn't replace it, offer to replace it or anything else. When asked about being compensated for the damage they took $50 off the bill. Safelight has quoted a replacement price of over $1k. This place is a joke!!! I I could do 0 stars I would. This guy Jason needs some customer Service skills. I call on a Wednesday to make appointment for the following Wednesday. I bring my truck in at the appointed time and day. By the end of the day I call to find out the status of my truck, I goes to voicemail. And I do not get a call back on Wednesday. so I call back on Thursday morning and I get Jason, he tells me he has not had a chance to look at my truck BUT he will look at it today. This is now Thursday. So I call back at about 3:30 PM , and again got his voicemail. And again no call back on Thursday. So I call back on Friday morning and talk to Jason again and ask what the status of my truck was and he say to me " About the same" Meaning he has still not looked at my truck. By now I have had about enough of this joker. So I went to this so called Business and got my truck back. My truck was out on the street with my drivers window half way down and my key on the floor of the truck. Which brings me back to THIS BUSINESS IS A JOKE!!!! read more

This was the first time I had used Jerry Auto Service and was referred by a friend. I'm always nervous when I haven't had a chance to know them beforehand. But my referral was solid, and I decided to go for it. We made an appointment to bring my jeep in, and we stayed to that date; I was told upfront what it should cost and how it would be done. Jason stayed true to his words and did a quality job replacing my heater core and radiator. He tops off all fluids, AC, coolant, and transmission. So here's the deal. I had a 5-star review put up on here for Jerry's auto but just learned recently that they have done many major fixes on my vehicle incorrectly. This was confirmed by a family mechanic that was recently in town AND a dealership. I'm furious. My new mechanic told me that the mistakes made on my valves and gaskets are very rookie mistakes and can happen when you're rushed and not double checking/thorough in your work. So I don't think it's the mechanic's fault. I think it's the management's fault. Maybe the mechanic is paid by the job so they feel the need to rush through cars, but the reality is, my engine could have flooded had my brother in law not done a quick tune up for us over the holiday weekend. I'm so disappointed and feel duped. Not only this, but they did my brakes earlier this year and two months ago, I took my van back because they were squeaking. They replaced the brakes and said it was a faulty product. Then just recently my brakes started squeaking again. Are they cutting corners? What's the deal over there?! I've spoken to my friends and family and we will no longer be using this auto shop. read more

They are honest and don't try to up sell you something you don't need - they do recommend things to watch for and what needs to be done when you see signs of certain things. Came in with my elderly Dad for a problem we were expecting to be wheel bearings. Jason diagnosed it as bad tires and recommended the guys across the street (East Valley Tires, another group of cool guys). Furthermore, Jason put the car on a lift and gave it a once over and pointed out a few additional maintenance items needed and quoted reasonable prices without any sales pressure at all. He topped off the P/S fluid - took darn near a quart, and didn't even charge a cent for the 15 to 20 minutes of his time or the cost of the fluid. My wife and I winter in Mesa. We went to Jerrys Automotive based on the recommendation of a neighbor in the 55 plus resort where we live. We had some work done on a Buick, which was done in about an hour, and we did not even have an appointment. The car now runs well. We worked with one of the owners, Jason, who answered all of our questions and was honest. He even made some recommendations against having some work done because the car was aged (2003). The price for a new battery and new spark plug wires was around 300 dollars, which was very reasonable. I highly recommend these folks. read more

I started going to Jerry's years ago upon recommendation by the Salem Boys (best car repair shops). I was always pleased with the work, but since original owner retired, I'm wondering if they are more money motivated than service motivated...not sure, but it kind of seems that way. They are no longer on the Best Car Repair Shops list. I'd like to know why. Perhaps it's because there is an annual fee to be on that list, or was there a problem with the business itself. read more

They were able to fix my vehicle promptly and for less than another business had quoted me. I will return to this establishment in a heart beat. WARNING WARNING WARNING!!! Do NOT take your car to these complete ass clowns. They have been working with my elderly father for a few years and so when my Van broke down I took it to them. They told me it was a cracked block and I needed a new motor for FOUR THOUSAND dollars. So I towed the car home and there it sat for a while till I could get a second opinion. I in my own stupidity did't open the hood because I thought it was DOA. Now I come to find, after opening the hood that not only was the "cracked block" a total lie but it was just a leaky gasket, but it gets better. These fucking ripoff artists had taken out all my spark plugs (JUST REPLACED AND BRAND NEW) removed the cover and left the fucking motors insides and the cylinders EXPOSED! Radiator cap is completely gone and now FILLED with crap. All hope I had of fixing this motor is now MOOT because they didnt even have the decency to put the damn car back together. I will personally kick any one person who take their car to these morons... If there were a way I had taken pictures first I would sue the fucking PANTS off the scam artists. Not to mention their insistence on charging for work never done, doubling standard parts and labor rates of ANY other shop and performing repairs that are unnecessary. read more
