While Torrid does tend to be expensive at full price, their sales allow me to find things at decent prices. Whether you shop online (where everything is typically at least 35% off) or in store, you can some solid items to add to your closet. I personally am at the loyalist level, so online shopping is that much easier for me because I don't have to pay shipping and makes it an obvious choice to buy when I find the extreme sales that make items less than $10. The photographer Rachel was very thorough by explaining packages and pricing options and also making me aware of any promotions and offers that are currently available. I was pleased with the photos and the options she offered in addition to receptiveness to some of my ideas that I wanted to capture in some of the photos. The photo shoot was very enjoyable and now I have some beautiful memories of important people in my life thanks to the photo representative.

Buy them anywhere else and you'll spend a MINIMUM of $5-15, unless you're shopping from an online retailer such as Grace and Lace and can spend $20-35 for the handcrafted work. I also found a SUPER SNAZZY, classic black jacket that was $16. The jacket was somehow both delicate AND fierce. All in all, if you're on a budget yet wish to dress trendy, sexy, comfortable, or classic, Discovery has all you need. If you're a Pinterest gal and find that you can't afford the outfits you like pieced together by the pros, you certainly can afford those pieces when you're shopping at Discovery. (I hate adding this in, but imaging buying direct from China but eliminating the wait time for shipping and guaranteeing that what you see is what you get. That's kind of like Discovery.) Shoes on clearance range from $5-10. Their full-price shoes are not much more than that. Bras are good quality, but then again I'm not as well-endowed as some. Accessories are very reasonably priced. You can always find something on clearance for a knock-your-socks-off price. Leave your own review on other products I've not yet tried out from them. Complaints about staff? I've never noticed any issues. But then again I don't pay close enough attention. They were very courteous and helpful while we were there. However, a little bit of respect, appreciation, and common courtesy go a long way if you find a person to be a bear to be around.

She went above and beyond to box my gifts and make them look so special. She was super personable and pleasant and just an overall great person and employee! I have noticed that Von Maur employees are always very pleasant, courteous & helpful. The store itself is always clean and neat. The piano player is a nice added touch.
