Cyndi (who is actually the store manager), helped me look through the larger men's sizes and we did find a nice one in my size. She was really helpful, and made sure it worked for me. Good lord in heaven. Do you enjoy overpriced China made acrylic clothing for your family? Do you like buying synthetic leather boots and purses? Do you like buying past season semi-designer merchandise at current season prices? Do you need to step up your game on your hooker lingerie? Are you in the market for designer imposter fragrances at almost designer prices? Do you like to wait in lines that resemble Black Friday lines, all year? Do you need discontinued toys for your children? How about some scratchy sheets or a bed in a bag for a ridiculous amount? It will cut you but it's trendy. This store is the dirtiest most unorganized retail store I've ever been to. I've been to garage sales that are more organized than this store. Definitely not like other Ross stores I've been to. Shoes and clothes are not on shelves according to size. Similar items are not placed together. I live this place 4 stars because they have some rare fines there for both houseware and clothing. OKay so the place isn't super organized and you might find items here and there looking like crap but hey then you know not to buy it right? Good- You can find nice dresses for very reasonable prices. -The inventory changes constantly so you can find something new every few weeks. - If you're on a budget but still want to find a nice blouse or dress this place is perfect - This is not a goodwill store, the merchandise is not used. Bad- It's not very organized, but I think this has to do more with the customers than the actual store layout. Sometimes I do find clothes on the floor or see a nice set of plates only to find that someone already opened the box and took some plates out. The employees can't go around babysitting everyone that comes in the store. - There is no set inventory, what you see is what you get. If you want something that you like you should get it NOW because it might be the only item available in the store. Overall- Good store for what it does, reasonable prices for merchandise that you can get in another store for a higher price. I will keep coming back =) read more

I have to say I hate complaining but the manager and the store associates are very rude I went in on 8/24/20 at 3:37 associate 526082 and she was very rude I was very upset I bought a frame and it didn't fit it my car so I came back nicely and asked if they can hold it for me for less than hour so I can come back for it with my truck and they all gave me dirty looks and the manager said you can return it! I never experienced such rudeness before I went next door to Marshall's told them my experience and they told me they can hold my frame for me and that it's terrible customer service I am very upset and I hope this message gets across I tried calling corporate but their office is closed right now because of covid. Literally had the cashier yell and cuss at me in anger for correcting her discounted math and not give up because I was correct, after the manager just told the girl to calm down & she was incorrect about the math (that's it) I called corporate & got nowhere . This place has an amazing amount of inventory with dirt on it--clothes hanging on the racks that look like they've been run over by the carts and re-hung. I stopped in there after a visit to the strip mall where it's located and it just feels like a junk shop. The other thing I don't like is the type of shopper it attracts. read more

So I walk into the store on Saturday to see what this "Ross" is all about. They have some cool stuff, but the store seemed to be ransacked! The shelves were bare and the store was packed with people! I bought a few things for myself and the kids and went to go stand in line. Which mind you, was all the way to the back of the store! The store seems to be very disorganized and things are thrown every where. This store is horrible , worst customer service. I am only person in line and she tells me I am in the return line to move over. Mind you she is the only cashier and she is I. The return counter. 9 people in line behind me. I asked if there were more cashiers and very rudely she said " just me" ! Took my daughter to Orland Mall to find her 8th grade formal dance dress. We went to every single store.... NOTHING! On our way home, I saw Ross and decided to stop. Not only did she find her dress, but she had to make a decision between about eight of them. The best part was I paid only $19.99 for a $70.00 dress!!! Yeah, we'll be going back. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just left the Orland store and I'll be damned if I ever go back. The lady at the register, Alicia, gave me the worst attitude I have ever received. She smacked her lips the second she seen me in the line. She threw my clothes on the floor, almost ripped the clothes by how she was taking them off the hangers, didn't even want to do her job. From the minute she saw me she had the biggest attitude, I even told her to be careful with the coffee mugs I bought but she completely disregarded me and acted as if I said nothing, she threw them in the bag and didn't even care if they broke or not. I just got home and one mug is broken, thanks to her. Customer service is one of the most important elements of a good store and should be a top priority. I like their products but due to the service I just received, there is no way in hell I will be going back. read more

I visited the Ross Store in Orland Park on 3/29/2018 with my daughter and niece. After trying on approximately six dresses in the fitting room, I decided I would think a bit more on which items I wanted to purchase. As I exited the fitting room, one of the staff attending to the fitting rooms named Faidat Oguntade Woleola (KNOWN AS LOLA) asked me for the items I did not want. I responded by saying I will put them back because I was still contemplating which items I would like to purchase. She proceeds to follow me to the dress aisle where I was putting back the three dresses that I did not want and continued to follow me around the store. To add insult to the matter, she called the Orland Park Police on me ALL BECAUSE I DID NOT GIVE HER THE DRESSES UPON EXITING THE FITTING ROOM. Another Manager Lamaine Hughes apologized for her actions and tried to rectify the situation by offering a 20% discount on the items that I purchased, however I would NOT SPEND A DIME OF MY MONEY IN THAT STORE AFTER THE WAY I WAS TREATED. The Orland Park Police simply stated that they could see why I was upset and just encouraged me not to purchase anything from the store (a decision that was already made up in mind) and we all left the store.
