Disrespectful customer service from Alli Victoria. I asked for a map and she said "are you a member" I said "yes". Alli said "really???" I said are you for real? She said I need your membership card. I gave it to her and it took 10 min for her to finally come back with the wrong map and she opens it up and acts like she is explaining about the map. In the meantime A gentleman asked if I was being helped. I said Alli is disrespectful and she disappeared. Another lady brought me the correct map. The whole reason I got this service was for roadside assistance and the DMV. For whatever reason the Sacramento organization can't seem to handle either of these. They do not have people who can effectively communicate working at their DMV office, and they leave you standing for almost at least an hour for any call that you make to roadside assistance. I used to go to their location at Folsom and Bicentennial, but this location is now just for auto repairs. The nice man in the counter told me of the new location (for insurance) at Howe and Fair Oaks. Upon entering, I was greeted by a kind lady who helped direct me to the services I required from AAA. I waited for only 5 minutes and was seen to by Matthew "Matt" Roa. I explained to him was I was after, gave him all the information I currently had on my insurance, and was promised the afternoon for when I get the quote. It was as promised. It took a day or two for me and my wife to review the quote and we were very satisfied with it. Needless to say, we are now under AAA Insurance coverage. This is hard to believe but I had such a good experience. I'm almost glad my truck broke down in El Dorado Hills California.    Nick H (aka Nicolas the ridiculous) called me immediately and told me when he was coming. He was so kind, professional, and thoughtful-took wonderful care of my truck and me.  I didn't have a ride home and was planning on hiring an Uber, but he said that sometimes AAA covers that too !   So he talked with his management and they instructed him to take me home which was more than 10 miles away from where my truck was left for service. Wow, I am blown away and didn't know that that was even possible... thank you AAA for going above and beyond the call of duty, and making a difficult night actually enjoyable. After 10 years CSAA dropped me because of pictures taken by a drone. Although, they haven't provided said proof, that my roof needed repairs. They sent a letter and told me that they're not required to tell people and let them fix the problem. They're still issuing home owners policies so I wonder how they decided who to drop. read more

I went to this location last week to try to get replacement tags because I never received mine in the mail from DMV even after paying for replacement tags from them as well, and DMV had let me know if I'm a AAA member I can go in and get them the same day. When I arrived, I let one of the ladies know the situation and she started assisting me by looking at my account then she encountered a problem and told me I couldn't get my tags. She was a newer employee so the lady next to her helped a little bit and eventually a man, who I'm assuming is the manager, came to assist me and they all told me I was pretty much out of luck because there's nothing they could do. I was told I could try to come back next week and maybe get them and was not given much more information. I walked away, super frustrated and confused and I ended up having to wait to be seen to change something separate for my insurance. As I was waiting, the manager said he could help me in his office and then had me fill out two DMV papers and said he would give me a call the following day letting me know the status on my account regarding my tags. He also said to come back whatever day I'm available this week and I can pick up my replacement tags no problem. I never received a call the following day but I still showed up today on my one free day to pick up my tags only to be given a runaround by three employees. Two of the employees were ones that assisted me last week. I had to explain the situation three different times again today. At first, they told me I don't even have an account with AAA and I'm not a member which was news to me because I've been a member since 2017 and my insurance payment just came out of my account today. Once they figured out that I do in fact have an active account with them they had me fill out the same two papers that I filled out with the manager last week and then I had to wait 30 more minutes to be seen by a different employee only for her to tell me that I could not receive my tags today. I am extremely frustrated with how this whole situation has played out and I just want my tags that I paid for almost 2 months ago now and I don't know why each employee has given me conflicting information and wasted my time when I do not have much free time to be sitting here and coming back over and over just to fill out the same paperwork and be sent away again. This is extremely disappointing from AAA because before this I've had nothing but great experiences. It has me honestly considering switching insurance companies because of the terrible communication and lack of care with this situation. Overall a VERY nice location. The front desk greeter was quite friendly and professional. They had coffee and plenty of seating. Clean and organized inside. The parking can be a big crowded outside but there are lots of businesses in the area so thats to be expected. I made an appointment and waited all of 30 seconds before being seen by Judy Passof. Not only did Judy listen patently to my sob story (surely waiting for me to get to the point) but she also empathized and did her best to help me. In UNDER FIVE MINUTES she had a reason and plan for my situation that had taken me MONTHS to throw up my hands in frustration at the DMV. Do yourself a favor and become a AAA Member and go to this branch instead of EVER going to the DMV. I don't think there's a way you can schedule yourself specifically for Judy but if you get her, you'll be very happy you did! read more

This is a very convenient location very close to California State University Sacramento. But the parking lot is a little bit smaller than it should be. But it is okay now because of fewer people here due to the pandemic. The office is very clean as always in any AAA office. The receptionist is very friendly. She give me a very nice greeting as soon as I walked in. Directed me to the waiting area for the next available agent. I'm here to use their DMV services in AAA. What a wonderful service with the best workers here. I have my vehicle transferred in 10 minutes from the time I walk-in to the time I walk-out. This is impossible if I am in one of the DMV offices. The agent behind the counter is very fast and professional. Super friendly, high efficiency, and good service. I'm sure I'll come to AAA for all the available DMV services now. read more

I been paid registrations to all my household for years and never had any issues but this time the lady told me that I can pay but I won't get sticker!!!!! Like why? Buyer beware; if you break down in or near Truckee, Don't call for help. They will have your car towed to there storage and then you can pay for a hotel or they will have a lift give you a ride home. And at there convenient they will bring the car, one or two days ? It's on the time line. I'm sorry I think if you pay for a service you get that service with a smile not the middle finger and call back at 8am when the tow trucks come in and we will see if then they will come. And it was 8 pm. So a whole 12 hours, instead of doing they're jobs and calling the next towing company on the list. read more

Service at the University Village office is great. I do have a complaint about the lack of a local contact number. I tried to cancel an appointment and after 15 minutes and multiple transfers still could not reach the local office or anyone who could cancel an appointment. This is an issue with the phone setup more than the local office. I gave up trying due to frustration. read more

As an AAA member, Its my 3rd time going to this location just for DMV. The staff there was nice and helpful. I feel very welcome. I will go there again for DMV. Therefore, the real reason why I didn't get this location a four or five star due to my experience with an agent name is Christina A., After my visit with DMV. I decided since I'm at AAA I should just add an vehicle to my policy. I got an call to the back by Christina and it wasn't a welcome. I am not satisfied with the service she provided towards me. The prejudice I felt from her rolling her eyes at me from the side of my eyes, while I am searching on my phone for my information. Not only, my 15 years old daughter saw her dogging at me and the eyes rolling as well. I ask her if I can get an quote for my car if I get an full coverage and how much is going to cost me every month. She give me the total premium and I got confused why it cost so much. I ask, she told me the coverage is the same like my other car. Then I ask, if she could tell me what is the coverage on my other car. If it's 25/50. She looks at me like I'm someone who is frustrating. After all, I didn't get any explanation about my policy. The only response I got from her is "Anything Else!" I see that she do not like me. I told her that since the coverage is the same as my other car. I will take it! Told myself I'm not going to frustrate over it. I will check my policy online and if there is anything that needs to add or change I will do it myself. I didn't want to cause any drama. She didn't print me any new document. This is a lengthy one: My experience with AAA insurance company has left me unsettled. They are by far one of the WORST insurance companies available in California. When my car was hit by an UNLICENSED teenage driver, I sent video footage as proof that I DID NOT CAUSE the damage that was done to my car. After TWO Days (not even a week), they determined that my car was a "Total Loss". My car was still drivable - NOT a total loss. All I wanted was for my car to get fixed. I did not care about the money - I didn't want money! I wanted my car fixed, which is why we were paying hundreds of dollars for FULL COVERAGE in the first place. I spoke with FOUR different AAA 'Specialist' and every single one of them told me something different. NONE of them had communicated with each other. They gave me the run around the first week. By the 2nd week, Susan Golden (auto field specialist) sent me e-mails with TWO different options. When I responded with my choice, Susan Golden (very rudely) told me, "that option isn't available to you, I shouldn't have sent you that option". I was appalled! It made absolutely NO SENSE for them to send me those options, if it wasn't available to me. I lost ALL CONFIDENCE in AAA as my insurance company. They were UNHELPFUL and have the WORST Customer Service ever! Susan Golden, Paul Norat, Tracy Miller AND Shenea Wilkins are terrible representatives for this company! They did nothing but, try to take my car from me. So, beware of how awful this insurance is! They more than likely WON'T do anything to help you, even if you have VIDEO PROOF AND, have a Police Report! I will NEVER RECOMMEND this insurance to anyone! I give them a '-10/10'. read more

The notary was pleasant, but because I had to pay with a card I waited an additional 40 minutes to pay $10.00. Wanted to get my Vin check, I called 2 days ago and explained that I purchase my car out of state and that I need it a Vin check to register my car. I walked in the door and all the workers were just talking and not paying attention then someone who was in that conversation asked to see my papers, I showed them they looked and said we can't check Vins from out of state.
