Went here for brunch with friends and had such a good time! We ordered the bottomless mimosas which was yummy, loved that they offered different flavors to switch things up. It really helped break the monotony that can sometimes come with bottomless drinks. I got the eggs benny (my usual go-to for brunch) and it was super solid. My friend ordered the chilaquiles, and after trying a bite, I definitely need to come back for that. Really cute brunch place in Koreatown! And it has free parking with a valet attendant (just give a tip). The cafe is located inside the Hotel H. Walking in you will immediately see the check in counter for the cafe. I recommend coming early to avoid a wait - I came at 11 and the place was pretty packed with large groups. I ordered the H Mac Burger which includes wagyu beef, crispy macaroni patty, Chipotle aioli, American cheese on a brioche bun and comes with a side. I got mine with roasted potatoes and medium rare patty. It was pretty tasty and flavorful. The burger was also really juicy. I also ordered the berry thirsty cocktail which I found to be pretty underwhelming. But overall great selection of food and drinks and a very bubbly and hip vibe. :) read more

We were excited to try this place out because the reviews were good and they have complimentary valet parking! The ambience is modern and cozy with lots of windows for natural light. They have two bathrooms, both single stall, which is great. Some of our food was served on chipped plates. Once is understandable, but 4 of our dishes came out on chipped plates. As for the food. Our party ordered coffees, a cappuccino, the wagyu burger, and both burritos. The burger and fries were basic. Nothing special. The fries were fresh, but still unsatisfying because they weren't crispy. The burritos were disappointing. Both had big chunks of potatoes that tasted unseasoned. We saw the side of breakfast potatoes at another table and they looked well seasoned, so we thought that's what they'd use. I had the burrito with the fried chicken, which was overpowered (believe it or not) by those big chunks of unseasoned potatoes. It was covered in sausage gravy, which was delicious. I wish I had three times the amount so maybe it would flavor the dish. I will say the best part of our experience was the service. It took another 10+ minutes just to get our check and the food did not make up for this. The restaurant itself has a cute setup, though I did notice that some of the furniture was a bit worn down. Positives: If you are looking to grab a quick bite, this would potentially be a good option. It tasted like it was made from fresh juice & the ratio of grapefruit juice to Prosecco was spot on. Negatives: I wouldn't come back for several reasons: (1) The table that I was seated at was dirty/had not been cleaned properly - there were still crumbs. (2) my order of french fries had a mixture or thin fries and regular fries... I found that strange. (3) The side of aioli which I ordered (at an extra charge of $1.50) was stone cold... The service was prompt, and the server was friendly & helpful. But after our order was taken, we didn't see our server until he brought us the check. We had to ask other staff members to refill our coffee cups. The breakfast and lunch selections we ordered were very good. The ingredients were fresh, and the eggs prepared very well. The sweet potato fries were excellent, and you get a generous portion. The truffle mushroom burger was very flavorful. The truffle mushrooms combined with the "Wagyu" beef patty and brioche bun was savory and delicious. I would order this selection again. Overall, the H Cafe appears to be a very trendy eatery. Ktown has no shortage of yummy restaurants and brunch spots. H Cafe is one such popular brunch spot. I won't say it's the best ever but it does a decent job. I decided to go for a fried chicken waffle sandwich and it was good. The chicken was juicy enough, the egg is a nice addition, and the waffles were standard. It's not going to blow anyone away by any means and the potato... cake... thing was a different type of potato compared to your hash brown or other similar potato side. Again, not blowing anyone away. The avocado toast was probably a bit better, but even so, it's not the best thing ever. It's got a nice helping of avocado, veggies, and poached egg but otherwise not sure what else to hype up about it. Is this place worth the wait? Maybe if it's less than 30 minutes, otherwise I think there are better places to eat at in ktown or LA in general. read more

A somewhat hidden gem Just west of DTLA is this cafe that is in the lobby of a hotel. Brandon our server was kind ,attentive , and helpful. Menu and payment is available via a QR code on the table. So easy . The restaurant was clean ,keep in mind we were the first patrons there. Before we left the restaurant was 70% filled. Parking was easy ,right next door to the hotel. We joined the waitlist on Yelp, and it was about a 30-45min wait on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Country burrito which comes with chicken, eggs, potatoes and peppers. It was just ok. My friend ordered the H Breakfast burrito which she liked and my other friend ordered the loaded breakfast potatoes (which I wish I had gotten because it looked delicious). It came with potatoes with eggs, bacon and avocado on top. The high rating honestly is due to the drinks. I ordered an espresso martini and it was so delicious! Overall it was a cute place but the food wasn't all that special based on what I ordered. If I were to be in the area I'd have it as an option though!
