George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. Another heating company in the area came out to look at it and told us that the furnace required a new part that was not available anywhere in the Chicagoland area. (which was just a lie to try to get us to buy a new furnace from them instead) Wanting another opinion, we called Fricold. The serviceman came within the hour and fixed our furnace quickly, apparently having no problem finding the part needed. That furnace is still working fine today. Since then, we have used Fricold for our regular HVAC cleaning and maintenance. In addition to providing good, honest services, they are always very courteous.
