Today while I was at this location to get my nails done I had a diabetic emergency. My blood sugar dropped and I came very close to passing out. The staff got me water and peppermints to help me recover. I will NEVER go to another nail salon. The owners and staff at the location are absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, can't say this is a 5-star experience anymore. I moved out of town, but when I've come home to visit over the last 2 years, I've made an appointment at H2K and each time it's steadily become a totally lackluster experience. Enough now that I won't be returning after today. My pedicure was really just getting my nails painted, unless you count touching my calves for a 15 seconds the "massage". My nails are cut down to the stubs, there's gel on my skin and cuticles on both my toes and hands and I'm bleeding from two toes. Also, I currently live in the Bay Area of California and I spend less at the salon there for the same service and the experience is wonderful even when just getting a basic gel mani/pedi. $88 for annoyance, and honestly it's 2022 and I can get that for free. read more

A few months ago I would have reported this as being the best nail salon on the Northshore but not anymore. First, you need an appointment. I scheduled one and still had to wait thirty minutes to see someone. I left very frustrated and decided a few months later to give them another try. Same thing- made an appointment and waited 30 minutes to be seated- not to see a nail technician. On top of that, a customer who was scheduled after me was taken before me. The secretary noticed but did not correct the situation. I believe the issue is they are overbooking. Do not schedule appointments if you do not have the employees available to work. It's that simple. And do not waste our time. We have other errands to attend to during the day and this is why we are scheduling appointments in the first place. It's time to take a look at your scheduling practices and fix them or you will continue to lose good customers. read more

I've tried this Spa out a few times. The first time I was very comfortable. They played soft Christian music. It was such a breath of fresh air. The lady at the front greeted us. She was nice. I also noticed how she kept the windows and mirror finger print free. There's nothing like a clean spa. The services were great. The second time I went the service was good. I went again less than a week later to change gel color on nail and toes. Dawn completed this service for me and I wasn't pleased . She removed the polish and didn't clean the toe nail bed properly prior to putting the new polish on. She just removed the polish and painted away. I ALWAYS tip for services and always tip well but....... New to the area and decided to try this based on the cleanliness. Walked in, waited about 15 mins for a quick clean up manicure which came out fine. Nothing amazing. I proceeded to wait over an hour for my pedicure which I was annoyed about but whatever.... The woman who did my pedicure was so rough and spoke no English. The water was so hot, she tried to file down my toe nails with a power drill and really hurt me. I gave it a 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. With an appointment, getting powder nails and a pedicure, visit took 3.5 hours to get done. Yes they stayed busy the entire time, but their time management is horrendous here. There were 6 nail techs and some switched back and forth from pedicure to nails. They tried to tell me the nail design that I picked from there website would take sooooo much more time to do. I mean can you imagine- 3.5 hours. So I only had one nail done. They also wanted to charge me the listed price for a powder nail and an additional $30 for the design that they didn't really want to do but showed on their photo gallery. The one nail I needed up getting with the design- looked nothing like the one on their website. To top it all off- my powder nails started to chip with one 5 days. Not the polish- the actual nail cause if you get powder you know the polish is your nail! My cousin went with me and just got a gel manicure. We are 5 days in and all the gel is peeling off. ****pic attached ***** I will NEVER go here again. Had my nails done several times with no issues. Last time the lady shaved my nails down so thin they were like paper. Had a gel coat added, two nails were broken within 24 hours and broke several more in the days that followed. Stopped in and questioned about them, they gave me run around answers and finally gave me an appointment the next day. Within an hour, I received a call stating they were going to have to add me to the waiting list to "catch up"! Over 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for a phone call. Went to get A full set of acrylics with gel and a pedicure before going on vacation. Told the lady what I wanted over the phone but when I got there they acted surprised that I wanted acrylics with gel and not the dip BS they offer. I'm not a fan of the dip but they kept repeating the question over and over as if they weren't understanding how I could turn down the dip. They acted aggravated as if it was an inconvenience to them to have to do acrylics with gel. I felt pressured to get the tip even though I didn't want it and they seemed aggravated when I would not change my mind. After the pedicure when it was time to paint my toenails I told her how I wanted my nail color done and she didn't do it the correct way with both colors as I asked and they do not offer a dryer to dry gel on your feet. I've never been to a salon where they didn't have a foot dryer to dry gel nails for my feet so my toes polish got messed up at least three different times as I was attempting to leave and she kept having to stop and fix it. I asked about a foot dryer as I have had at every other nail salon I have ever went to and they said that they don't have that. Anybody that knows how Long it takes for gel polish to dry especially on toes when you have to leave immediately after the appointment, I find it absolutely ridiculous that they don't have a foot polish dryer. Overall I just wasn't pleased with my experience and probably will not be back. It looks fancy and it's a great atmosphere but that's just from the outside looking in. It's Nine days later and one of my nails has already broken off which I've never had happened before at least two weeks was up at any other salon I've went to. read more

Used to be one of my favorite places to get my nails done and was an avid customer for 6 years. Now for the past year they have gone down hill. I schedule my appointments in advance and every time I get there i'm sitting and waiting 25-30min past my appointment time. Also when I ask for a manicure they never give me one. They continue with only doing my nail color even when requesting a full manicure. This has happened my past 5 appointments and I am fed up. My nails look awful and the nail tech vanished for 20 min while my nails were drying under the gel light and never returned. They have officially lost my business and will be making sure my friends never go back either. Overall there are so many better places to get your nails done around the area and for a better price. Unfortunately, today as well as the past 3 times I have been there that was not the case. Saturday's are walk-ins only. Today did it in for me. I waited one hour with only one other lady in front of me. They accepted a party of 6 little girls & placed them in front of me as well as the lady before me and 3 others behind me. She had a great speech about getting others from another location to come help, but she knew the party was coming in at 1 so she should've been honest with all of us from the beginning.
