Specialties
Since 1989, H2O Care has combined water filtration and water softener technology expertise with on-staff licensed Master and Journeyman Plumbers. We DO NOT contract out our plumbing work. This ensures a safe, controlled, professional installation to improve your overall water quality. Our full-service staff will optimize the life and proper functioning of your water softener and other water filtration systems. We are not a franchise and can choose the best available equipment and technology to address your specific water quality issues.
We are often contacted about trying new technologies, which we may test internally and in the field to determine actual potential value to our customers. If they pass out testing, they become available for future water quality improvement installations where appropriate. If we can't prove effectiveness, we reject them.
History
Established in 1989.
Mark St. Hilaire, a Master Licensed plumber, began AquaTech Water Systems after years of hands-on experience with water quality issues and many water chemistry & quality courses.
In 1999, AquaTech merged into Atlas Watersystems, Inc., a commercial & industrial water treatment company, which led to 15 years of successful growth installing and servicing systems in Eastern Mass., Southern NH & ME and Northern RI. Atlas was then acquired by Quench, USA. in 2014. We purchased the residential systems group back from them and renamed the company H2o Care, Inc.
We have been published in industry magazines about regional water quality issues (Water Technology Magazine & Water Quality Products) and interviewed by WHDH TV, Channel 7, informing consumers of water contaminants and how to best remove them. We have also been hired by the Commonwealth of Mass. to correct some of the more difficult water quality issues around the state, among others.
Meet the Manager: Mark S.
Mark started his career as a Licensed plumber (has his Master Plumber's License). After realizing how many homes required some form of water filtration, he began taking courses and gaining valuable experience with real water quality issues in the field. He learned what REALLY worked effectively, not just the theory. He began AquaTech Water Systems in 1989 to combine professional plumbing work with water technology experience to serve customers. Mark and his employees have been published multiple times in Water Technology (the leading industry publication) and other publications and have also given many water quality seminars to home inspectors, architects, engineers and real estate professionals.
