Finally found the right Nail Tech. Monique is freaking amazing im a Nail bitter so when I first went to her I didnt have enough Nail bed so she had to do a lot of cleaning. My usual Nail set last a week or 2 the max until they fall off but when Monique did my set They held on for a month.. I went the 24th of Jan and my current set are still holding on strong... will recommend Monique for ppl with short nails to begin with

Monique is absolutely amazing! Annie is also absolutely amazing. My daughter had her prom nails done by Monique and she did an incredible job! We drove 2 hours for her and she was worth the drive and price was so affordable for her work! I highly recommend.

I went here recently on Halloween to finally get a full set and a pedicure after wayyy too long. I was immediately led to a chair where two ladies were ready to help me. I'm upset that I cannot remember the girls name who did my pedicure because she was so nice, thorough and gave an amazing foot massage! The woman who did my nails was amazingggg, her name is Monique and she is definitely an artist! She was so ready to give me any kind of art for the spooky occasion and I was so excited. They never had someone before that was great at the nail art when I had gone in the past. Mannnn when I tell you she was beyond patient with me, wheww. It took me a minute to finally settle on a mixed design and her work was flawless super straight lines, beautifully thin webbing, amazing french tip bat design and Ghostface! I would definitely go back for both ladies and would 100% recommend Monique for all your beautiful nail art needs!! Oh and they even nicely fit my 6 year old daughter in for a quick manicure and she was very happy. And my nails still look great. Thank you H2o!!!

I will not go anywhere else. The quality is amazing and last forever. I love my pedicure from wendy she is gentle, great massage and loves making sure I am happy with her work. I just recently found monique and her work is amazing.

I visited this nail salon last minute, and they were kind enough to accommodate me without hesitation. I received a simple gel manicure (white tips) and a pedicure, and I opted for the package that included cuticle removal and other treatments. Unfortunately, the entire service felt rushed, which was disappointing. My total came to $110. I paid in cash, giving the nail technician $150 (one $100 bill and one $50 bill). The change I received was in $20 bills, which left me in an awkward situation. I felt pressured to leave a $20 tip, as it was the only change I was given, and I didn't want to create an uncomfortable situation by asking for smaller bills. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth, as I felt they were intentionally making it difficult for me to tip any less. Overall, I was disappointed with how rushed the service was and how I felt manipulated regarding the tip. My nails went great and definitely would not go back. I go to downtown Monrovia to another nail spot that does it extremely nice, takes their time and is way cheaper

Always get kindly greeted by the owner. The spa is always kept clean. I come here mainly because of Cindy, she makes you feel special and gives you quality treatment! Her pedicures are fantastic with the best massage to relax you. She doesn't make you feel rushed. To top it off, her nail treatments are just as fantastic. I usually get the Gel-X which gives a more natural look. Cindy does a great job with both Gel and Acrylic and she does great polish designs! I have always left there happy and satisfied with Cindy's nail treatments and designs. My nails last perfectly until I see her again. read more

Cindy is the BEST... I come to her every time for my gel pedicure and she always does such an amazing job.. I have always struggled with ingrown toenails but Cindy was so gentle and removed mine and I haven't struggled with any since I've started coming to her. She is also the sweetest pea... I decided to go to H2O to get a full set of acrylic nails. It was my first time getting acrylic nails there. I did not feel comfortable with the man doing my nails. He was very arrogant and talked in a way that is not appropriate or professional. His name was Sonny. While he was filing my nails with a regular hand file (not the electric one) he cut me really badly on one of my fingers. It was bleeding profusely and caused me so much pain. I've gotten cut before while getting my nails done but this was no small cut. This was a deep gash that was very painful and looked hideous. It took over a week to heal. I asked if I could get my money back because of how much pain I was in and I was only refunded $5. Please do not trust this salon with your nails. read more

The service isn't good... they tech do not listen and suggest things based on their likes-not the customers... I go and leave upset every time, but this is my last time going because my nails turned brown twice now.. and turned brown 2dys after leaving.. to pay $80 for a color change and pedicure and to have the work be sloppy is a slap in the face! And it took over an hour do do French tip..... I will drive an hour away before I waste my time and money ever again! read more

Wow! I'm new to Monrovia. I've been looking for a nail place that I like. I'm a pretty sensitive person when it comes to using the tools. But Heidi and Ivy were both so good. Ivy did my manicure and Heidi did my pedicure. Both were very precise and took their time to make sure each nail looked good. Even their mini massages were so gentle and relaxing. I'll definitely ask for them again when I come back. Highly recommend the place. read more

I got acrylic nails done and less than a week two of my nails were coming off, and I didnt cause it for it to become lose, so I came back she glue it, and the glue at the bottom showed, she took it all off. I had a fill done by Kelly. I am very particular about my nails so I was very skeptical. She did an amazing job and was quick. I also had a pedicure done (didn't catch her name). The pedicure was okay. I did feel like the pedicure was a bit pricey. I would definitely come back and let Kelly do my nails again. read more

Needed to get my nails done for an event, Called in to make an appointment earlier today and they were able to fit me in for the day. Got there and everyone was busy, the guy in the front greeted me and told me to choose a color, then a few minutes later a lady came from the back and asked what I wanted done, mani and pedi. Cool. Both ladies that helped me today were very nice, made sure I was comfortable.I got a regular pedicure and powder dip manicure, everything came out to $67! My nails are nice but not $67 nice, ya know? ,..Would I go back? Probably not since I can go to another place get the same thing done for less. read more

A little background on me: I am not a nail connoisseur, I am the 23 year old who still bites their nails. With that being said I came in here on Saturday around 3pm, with my cousin for a quick manicure and pedicure. I did not have to wait long till I was seated down for my pedicure. Overall, the lady who did my pedicure did a good job in cleaning my nails and shaping them. I often get ingrown nails and thought she did a god job in fixing them to prevent further ingrown nails. Overall I loved the pedicure and for the price loved that it came with a mini massage and scrub. As for my manicure, she didn't miss any steps but i wish she had payed a little more attention when painting my nails. I did bring in my own nail polish and it was sheer, but the lady who did my pedicure had no issues with the nail polish. I feel like the manicurist rushed painting my nails. This is why i have a couple of sheer spots where the natural nail peeks through. She also didn't take the time to clean up the edges after she was done painting them. Overall, the staff was friendly, service was quick, and my nails look okay. My cousins acrylic full set nails came out very nice. I think this shop specializes more in acrylic nails than manicures, but i did love my pedicure. I payed $30.00 plus tip for my regular manicure and pedicure. read more

We were 4 girls that wanted our nails done at the same time. The guy in the front desk was really nice and accommodating. I really would like to give this place a 5 stars because of him but 2 out of the 4 nail technician didn't do a good job with our nails. My mom's nails came out really pretty besides her filing too much off of her thin nails. The second technician who did my younger sister nails didn't patch up her broken nail well so it broke again today and did a bad job adding butterfly to her nails. The 3rd technician was younger didn't speak much English but did a wonderful job with my older sister gel nails. Lastly I got pedicure & neon green gel nails to match my hands but it turned out looking booger yellow. She probably should have used a white base to lift up the color buy didn't. Anyways mixed reviews but the service was good just wish few of them had done a better job. read more

I had the most amazing experience coming here. I work a lot with my hands, so most of the time they get very cut up, dirty, and just don't look cute. I recently got engaged, so I needed to have pretty looking hands quick. Linda did such an amazing job transforming my nails! She was gentle and thorough and even took extra time to glue up this cut I had gotten across my thumb that day. I have never seen my hands look so beautiful. I'm so glad I decided to stop in here. They also open a fresh packet of tools for every customer, which I love. read more

Review longgg overdue. I tend to decide to go last minute so I would call in to see if they can take me in around 6:30pm. I only remember one time they rejected me cause they were really busy. There seems to be high turnover here but the ladies here all do a good job. Today, I got lucky and was paired with Wendy! She takes her time and really make sure to remove my previous color completely, cut my cuticles, and paint the new color over. I have been here for almost a year now and I can vouch for Maggie and now Wendy! read more

I've been here a few times, I've never had one complaint except for now . I got my nails done Wednesday 7/14. I got gel and my polish is peeling super disappointed and sad. I traveled from Ontario to receive service. My event is next Saturday, and due to my pregnancy I will not be back towards Monrovia before then. Super sad and frustrated. read more

Found this place just a few blocks from where I live. The people were so friendly and I had Cindy both times. She was fantastic. I like my nails airbrushed pedicure and wax all by Cindy. Cindy is very talented and I have found my new salon after 8 years at my old salon. I am very fussy and now very satisfied. read more

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Sally did a pink and white full set on me. I love them. I got the darker pink which she said is most popular and it was the perfect shade. This was my first time getting the pink and white. Regularly $35 but I had a flyer they mailed out to the residents of Monrovia that saved me $7. Sally said fills for pink and white are $20. Sally was chatty, but not too chatty. Very friendly.
