Great customer service and being very honest. My pool pump stopped working after a six hour power outage. As a first pool owner, i did not know what to do. Therefore, I requested a service request via Yelp and attached a few photos of the pump and control unit. I received a couple responses recommending replacing the pump for a cost of around $3,000 without even doing any diagnosis or looking at the photos i sent (i guess). However, Roman from H2O Pool Care knows exactly the issue is by looking at the photos and that is the pump breaker was tripped. He texted me a detailed instruction on how to reset the breaker without charging me a penny. He could have come and charged me for a consultation/ travel fee but he chose not to. Had prior pool service and after several weeks of service and every time after treatment the pool would have dead algae on the bottom all over. First I was told, it was just due to the low Chlorine and was brushed off the walls, wrong. Next time, add shock, chlorine and Ph, nope same problem. Next time, same problem Tech's pool reading shows Cyanuric Acid at 30ppm adds phosphates. Go get a 3rd party test and shows the Phosphates are higher than 4,000 ppm so why is he adding Phosphates? Then it happened again next week with Algae on the wall and floor. After three consistent weeks of the same problem they vacuum out the bottom, do another test and tell my Cyanuric Acid is over 100ppm closer to 160ppm and I need to drain the entire pool that 35,000 gallons or they will not service pools with high CYA which his prior Tech's field test was at normal levels. This goes back and forth and I have never had a problem doing this myself the past 10 years with pool tabs shock etc, I am just tired of doing it. So to say the less, I start the fun process of finding another pool service company. So, I yelp local pool service and up comes several companies. I read all the various reviews and seems pretty positive for the 4 companies I narrowed down. I send out a message to all 4 companies to request pricing to take over service and advise all parties what I was told is wrong and the numerous tests and readings I had done and was told and results of High Cyanuric Acid / High Phosphates etc. blah blah blah First reply in 10 minutes is H20 Pool Care and Roman. Tell him the problem and says we can met the next morning at 700am. Came out with Tech, ran through pool and equipment and clearly knew what he was doing. Told him again my frustration and would just like a clear clean pool. Took water reading added Phosphates treatment to lower as was still high and CYA was in acceptable range, ran the pump for 24 hours as was cloudy after treatment, pool is crystal clear and left chlorine to add as it was very low. So far so good and waiting for my weekly service to start but has clearly started off on a good foot and looking forward to enjoying my pool year round with his hands on service and maintenance, so thank you. read more
