    Pork Lunch Carnitas

Great prices for Mexican food, outstanding service, and friendly staff. I've heard so many good comments about this place and I understand why. And they have the coldest draft beer in town. This is small restaurant serving up quality food and drinks. Highly recommend the pork carnitas!

We stopped on here after seeing a video on tiktok recently. I wanted to try a couple different things so I ordered a burrito plate with rice and beans and the queso birra tacos. The service was great! We were greeted quickly and friendly and our server was amazing. This is a typical Mexican spot but man was the food tasty. The burrito was an average burrito as was the rice and beans. The chips and salsa were freshly made and the chips were nice and crisp. The birra tacos however were out of this world. The beef was so tender and had an ample amount of cheese in them. The consume to dip them in was delicious. So flavorful! I will definitely be going back for the birra tacos any chance I get.

(4.5 stars) High Point lost an underrated sleeper hit of a Mexican restaurant when Crazy Mexico decamped for Greensboro. Thankfully, the location didn't remain empty for long. Habanero is still new - they don't have their liquor license yet - but early indications suggest that they are a more than worthy successor. As with the previous tenant, the nondescript shopping plaza location is bigger than it looks from the outside. My wife and I arrived on a Saturday night and had no problem finding a table. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and service here was excellent: attentive servers and a surprisingly fast kitchen. Habanero boasts a large menu boasting everything you'd expect to find and then some: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, chimichangas, and more. We were in the mood for something different, so we started with an order of pepinos (cucumbers with salt, lime, and chili powder) to go with a steak quesadilla and a tropical (chicken, bacon, shrimp, pineapple, red and yellow peppers). Nearly everything was tasty. The cucumbers were refreshing, the meat in the quesadilla was tender, and the shrimp were flavorful (and paired well with the pineapple). About the worst that can be said is that the salsa (smooth and oddly sweet) was unimpressive, but that's a relatively small bone to pick. High Point does not lack for Mexican options, and Habanero may not displace an existing favorite. But much like its predecessor in this location, it has the potential to be one of the city's IYKYK spots: unheralded, reliable, and worthy of wider exposure.

First time here! Great service and food came out quick! I instantly got my water and chips and salsa and he offered some spicier salsas which were all wonderful. I ordered the dinner combo which wasn't too much more than a lunch combo but the food was delicious. I got a veggie chimichanga and a spinach quesadilla and rice and black beans. Everything was delicious! Heads up they still do not have their liquor license!

Im really bad at remembering pictures. But seriously, so good. Happy food dance from start to finish.

Well let me jump on the bandwagon because this place is delicious! My husband and I stopped in for lunch and there was not a single thing we didn't love. We got a California burrito and chorizo pollo with a side of queso. The mains, top notch. My burrito was huge, so fresh, and all the right fixings/innards lol will reheat later and is easily another meal. Queso, perfect consistency. House salsa not too heavy on the cilantro (ya girl is a girl). Chips had great flavor and consistency. The horchata, hubs said is not grainy and "exactly what horchata should taste like". His chorizo pollo was chopped up perfectly so he could scoop it onto his house made corn tortillas. We asked and they are in fact made in house and fresh. Bryan was phenomenal, attentive without being overbearing. And the owner/manager checked on us as well. Safe to say this is a new go to restaurant for us. Clean, well lit, ample parking/seating ratio. And well priced. I'm not sure how new this place is but judging by the previous reviews and excellent service/accommodations, I see it sticking around.

Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends. They could use a larger location (a good problem to have because their popularity is well-earned) but otherwise I have nothing but praise!

Parking was sufficent in front of the entrance but not sure we would be that successful on a High Point Rockers game night. With 20 rotating taps, there's something for every taste: craft beer, wine by the glass and by the bottle, new specialty pours to try and mocktails, making it a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. Seasonal cocktails were flowing the nights we visited--peppermint espresso martinis, spiced nightcaps, and cranberry-ginger mules kept the holiday spirit high during the cold night. Then karaoke took over, with the whole room singing along to crowd favorites like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," that Hawaiian Christmas song haha plus there was a dramatic, everyone-at-the-bar version of "All I Want for Christmas Is You." It's the kind of cozy-but-lively night where Christmas spirit meets late-night funand no one wanted the music to end. The super peppy bartenders kept the atmosphere energetic and welcoming, even on that rainy night. This place is perfect for meeting friends, girls night out, first dates or lingering after a great meal. Weekly events like trivia nights, karaoke, and live music keep the vibe lively and fun, ensuring there's always something happening. The whole building is open so if you need a quite, romantic spot away from the others to talk, maybe lay out a card game or just to escape that "song you hate on karoke", patrons can sit at other, comfy tables throughout the establishment (and take your drinks). Whether you're there for the drinks, the entertainment, or the community feel, Bevelry delivers a consistently great experience. There's even an outdoor bar area (named Cahoots) that opens during warm weather- so we might see you there in the summer after a game!

The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.
