Erick asked if I wanted white rice, brown rice, fried rice or lo mein. I picked lo mein. Erick asked it I was okay with the upcharge for lo mein. I shrugged it off but should have asked how much. Turns out that it was an additional $4 for a small bowl of plain lo mein noodles. Yep, the menu even had a little +4 on the option. Should have gone with the rice. Anyway, we watched one of the FIFA fútbol games while we waited for our dinner. Erick brought my Mongolian Trio but it didn't look quite right. I expected to see a rich, brown hoisin based sauce on these wok-fried proteins and veggies. But, the beef, chicken and shrimp were covered with a thin batter.
