We visited P.F. Chang's to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is located in Grandscape, next to the giant Ferris wheel and across the road from an underground parking garage, which was ideal for avoiding the cruel afternoon sun. The hostess quickly seated us in the bar area, which seemed strange for 2 reasons. The main dining room didn't appear to be nearly full and that cruel afternoon sun was reflecting off a windshield into our eyes. We asked her if we could move but she said she would lower the window blinds. That helped! Our server, Erick, arrived quickly and took very good care of us. I ordered the Mongolian Trio, from the Chef's Favorites part of the menu. It comes with beef, chicken & shrimp and their signature Mongolian sauce. Also, broccoli, carrots and green onions. Erick asked if I wanted white rice, brown rice, fried rice or lo mein. I picked lo mein. Erick asked it I was okay with the upcharge for lo mein. I shrugged it off but should have asked how much. Turns out that it was an additional $4 for a small bowl of plain lo mein noodles. Yep, the menu even had a little +4 on the option. Should have gone with the rice. Anyway, we watched one of the FIFA fútbol games while we waited for our dinner. Erick brought my Mongolian Trio but it didn't look quite right. I expected to see a rich, brown hoisin based sauce on these wok-fried proteins and veggies. But, the beef, chicken and shrimp were covered with a thin batter. The batter was not expected and it had a starchy flavor. The pieces of beef, chicken and shrimp tasted the same. Starchy. There was very little sauce on the entre, too. Erick was nice enough to bring me a small bowl of their thin, signature Mongolian sauce, which helped a lot and it also improved the flavor of the +4 lo mein. In honor of our anniversary, Erick comped us an Individual Dessert that we could share. We picked the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Pie. It must have come right from the deep freeze because the peanut butter mousse was frozen solid. It was really small but it tasted good and the thought is what counts. I wouldn't order this $27.49 entree, the ÷4 lo mein or the dessert again. But I do appreciate the great job that Erick did. He took very good care of us and made our dining experience remarkable. read more

Met some friends for a birthday dinner. Made reservations for 5:30 and waited about 5 minutes for table to get ready. Leyda took care of us and did a great job! We remembered her from an earlier visit and she is so kind and professional we couldn't forget. We started with lemon drop martinis - they were good but a little sweeter than we prefer. Usually they have the perfect tartness. We ordered our usual crab wontons and they came out a little overcooked and dry with not much sauce. For our entree we had Chang's Spicy Chicken. The spice level was great but again, very dry and hardly any sauce. Our friends had Kung Pau Chicken and it too was dry. We mentioned this to Leyda and she brought out extra sauce for our items we were taking home. She was just wonderful!! read more

Easy to find lots of parking above and below ground across the street. We were greeted as soon as we entered and shown a table next to the bar, was very bright with sunlight glaring off the windows across the room, hostess did close the blinds when we meantioned wed like to move because of that. Restaurant was almost empty middle of the afternoon. Our waiterwas very attentive getting our drinks quickly and taking our order. I ordered the Teriyaki Trio, he asked if we wanted rice or lo mein noodles I asked for noodles he said they had a small upcharge I said fine. Food came out pretty quickly. The noodles seemed to have no sauce or added veggies and was a very small amount for $4, I will not order those again. We've eaten here many times since they opened but was very disappointed in my meal the tiny shrimp were very good, the beef not soft and seemed to be covered witha tough coating. The chicken seemed to be very small and covered with a thick doughy covering. It had very little sauce so seemed dry. It was our anniversary and the waiter offered us a small dessert to celebrate-we ordered the chocolate peanut butter cream pie-it must have been in their deep freeze. I couldn't cut it with my fork at all-how they got a candle in it in the kitchen was beside me. Once it thawed some we were able to cut it, it was good but seemed to be frozen ice cream not a cream pie. Our waiter was very good but will probably be a while before we return. read more

Food was good, that's the good. The bad, there was no host and we stood there for a while, no one said a word despite a few wait staff passing by us. It was just after lunch on Dec 26th, the entire areas was bustling with people, yet this establishment wasn't very busy. We finally went to the bar and sat down, at which point the male bartender, not the nicest, but helpful, told us there wan't a host around. That would have been good information to have from he few that walked by us. The place is large, very clean, well decorated. It's not really Chinese, it's more Mongolian at best guess, with a smattering of other asian fare, including some sushi samples. The portions were larger than expected for the dinner. The happy hour times, not so much. We'd ordered the dumplings from he happy hour menu and for the $10 it cost, there was only 3 dumplings on the plate. That was disappointing. The two dinners we had, I had the Mongolian trio and it was really good. The three meats in it, well seasoned and charred just right on the edges. Very good. The side of Fried Rice was well done as well. I can't recall my wife's plate, but it had the lo mien, chicken, and some veggies in it. I think it was veggies with chicken. It was good. Wife said it's the best lo mien she's had in a while, and she's a native Bostonian that frequently visited china town. The food was good. A bit pricey, but the portions were good. Just be prepared to deal with the staff. Our experience, there was only one lady bartender that was always smiles and very helpful. Tho very busy. read more

For starters Alyson is an amazing server! She gets 5 stars. Food met expectations. Why a 2 star review? Got our bill and we discovered our free appetizer coupon expired. (Our bad). Alyson asked the manager to honor it. Manager said no. So $150 table for a 3 top. 2 bottles of wine. Seriously. Can't comp $12 item ? Worst food I ever had at any P. F. Chang's through out the country and over years. It was a big shock that PF Changs menu and food quality has deteriorated so horribly as compared to my last visit 2 years back at San Diego. Literally all the 3 different menu we ordered was horrible. It was just over fried chicken/ beef/ pork. Fried so deep that nothing retained its original taste. Even their Margarita was so light that I had to tell them to add double strength. And you know the price goes high. Kungpow chicken was so horrible. Beyond expectations. I have and will go multiple times to Panda Express for Kungpow chicken but Pf Changs was worst ever. Feel sorry for this food chain. It was one of my fav but no more after a horrible Birthday dinner experience. What to mention about Service or ambience if food is too horrible. That comes last. read more

I haven't been to P.F. Chang's in over 8 years, but we were at the Grandscape for a Halloween party and they were open till 11 so we decided to come here. Our server was really nice and accommodating but the food was definitely mid. I remember back in the day when P.F. Chang's was considered a high-end restaurant lol. It's definitely giving basic Chinese food now. I had the Mongolian beef and it was good but there was way too many green onions on top as you can see in my picture, the lo mein was good and flavorful my baby enjoyed that. The egg drop soup was OK nothing special, however the fried rice was absolutely horrible it was crunchy and hard and the meat tasted old there was an up charge of four dollars for extra meat our server did not mention that there was an up charge for the lo mein as well so there were extra charges on our bill. We didn't order any cocktails but I noticed they weren't bad in Price I honestly don't see myself ever coming back here, I'm glad I was being treated and didn't have to pay for this lol. read more

Our reservation was for 8:15 PM. We were seated just before 10:00 PM, following a 1 hour and 45 minute outdoor standing experience. No estimates were offered, only optimism. Early on, a manager assured us the restaurant was seating reservations only, an assertion made while walk-ins were seated ahead of us. Later, another manager clarified the opposite: no reservations, only walk-ins. This despite our confirmed reservation for 8:15 PM. Somewhere along the way, our reservation appears to have been quietly reborn as a walk-in, as evidenced by my now-misspelled name. A subtle touch, but telling. We were joined by two elderly guests who stood outside in the cold for the entirety of the wait. One admires consistency, if not hospitality. Upon seating, a manager "felt bad" and offered to comp a single appetizer for our party of 8. A poetic gesture that ultimately remained theoretical. We ordered five appetizers and paid for all five. Our server was pleasant and professional. Beverage refills, however, were sporadic. Water and tea arrived cautiously, as though rationed. Our daughter's "bottomless" refresher at $5.99 was never refilled. The finale came at 11:00 PM. Despite seating guests as late as 10:30, the restaurant abruptly turned on full industrial lighting, killed the music, and signaled--without subtlety--that the evening was over. A memorable experience, though not for the reasons one hopes. Reservations here are less a promise than a suggestion. Such a disappointing "celebration." I nearly forgot to mention...while waiting with dozens of other guests, I routinely saw empty tables wait 20-30 minutes to be bussed and other tables sit empty for 30+ minutes after being bussed. The inefficiency was mind-numbing. Nobody was in a hurry to improve the guest experience and drive down the wait time. read more

The chair they wanted to seat me in had something sticky all over it and was full of crumbs. I moved it aside and sat in another chair. The waiter shoved it in next to me all in a huff. I could see this was already going downhill. I wanted to try their new lunch specials so I started with hot&sour soup. Mine was neither... it was pretty mushy and the rice noodles taste like they are industrially baked out of a box, certainly not freshly made. I barely had two sips of my lukewarm soup when lunch showed up. My wife got the Northern Ribs. They used to be juicy and meaty, stacked high and delivered with extra spice. These were just thrown on a plate. No spice. They were burnt and dry. I tried the beef teriyaki. The lunch portion is incredibly small. The white rice was cold and gummy. I tried a bite of the beef and was hit with a pungent, sour taste. I asked the waiter if it was supposed to taste like that. He said it came with pineapple and maybe that's what I tasted. We stopped by for dinner after shopping in the area. I went inside to get a table, well after normal dinner hours, they were not busy. They got my table ready but would not let me sit until the rest of my party arrive. They were parking the car. I knew our drink order and appetizers and would have loved to get that going, they were just parking the car. Then we asked about allergy modifications and they said they could do that. We were pretty sure they could accommodate since we've been before and they did a beautiful job of making an allergen friendly plate but it was a different location. Turns out that this location can't accommodate. That's fine, we can adjust, but please don't tell us you can and then bring us a plate with obvious allergy items on it. I think they changed things and now all proteins are coated (marinated?) in the same compound. No adjustments were possible. read more

We love PF Chang when we visit relatives out of town, it is our go to place and we always leave happy and satisfied. My favorite is the orange chicken, we ordered it along with sweet and sour chicken and 2 other meals. The chicken was not visible at all in any entree and all I could taste was the breading. I went with my husband and daughter for my 29th Anniversary. I made reservations and noted that when the reservations were made. The server was sweet, but never mentioned the P.F. Chang cash to us. I feel like it's important to inform your first time customers of all that your restaurant has to offer. Sometimes I felt a little rushed to order . The food was good I look forward to returning. Happened to go on Valentine's Day, not for the holiday but just to meet a friend for lunch and that day worked out for both of us. Staff was very nice and tentative. Managers came around a couple of times to see if anything was good. We didn't feel rushed despite it being a busy weekend. Food was fine, in my opinion, average for PF Changs...nothing more or less than any other one I've been to. I would say it was the service at this location that set them apart. read more

PF Chang's used to be great about 15 to 20 years ago. Over the years I've seen the quality decline. I don't know why I gave this place another try. My friend and I ordered the lettuce wraps, such a measly about of chicken was on the plate. I ordered the Honey Shrimp and the shrimp was small and the sauce was like congealed-like and just did not taste like how is used to. It kind of tasted weird. Can you believe the total for my part of the bill was $49 + tip? I felt like I hardly got any food for that price. I ordered the Honey Shrimp, Chicken Lettuce Wraps and a Strawberry Lemonade. The whole lemonade glass was filled why ice and I felt like I hardly got any lemonade. This place is so cheap and I feel ripped off AND this will be the last time I dine at PF Chang's. I miss how this place used to be. Literally, Panda Express' food tastes better than this and it much less expansive. read more

I ended up here one Saturday night for a friends birthday dinner. I have not been to P.F. Chang's since I was a teenager so maybe like 20+ years ago. I ordered their Dinner Special Sesame Chicken $16.99 which comes with an appetizer, rice and the entree. Our server Allison did a fantastic job with our large party, in regards to recommendations and refills. Only thing I will note is that she needs to work on pre-bussing whenever she stops by the table. We had quite a bit of empty plates and cocktail glasses sit for a while that was cluttering the already small table we had for the amount of people we had but she did a really great job otherwise! I got the Hot & Sour Soup for my appetizer and it was delicious, very tasty and went will with their crispy wontons. I got steamed rice to go with my Sesame Chicken. The chicken itself comes with onions , broccoli and red bell peppers. I liked the onions and broccoli but picked out the red bell peppers. The chicken itself had a good sauce and the meat was tender. There wasn't really that crispy texture element on the breading but still pretty good. Allison did tell me that the Dinner Special portions for the app and entree are slightly smaller then if you order them by themselves. I saw the difference but it is worth it for the value. I also got to try their Chicken Lettuce Cups which are still delicious and their dumplings (pan fried) are also pretty good. I did also get a Japanese Old Fashioned $12.99 which was meh, tasted okay but like an overly sweet normal old fashioned. It was pretty skimpy on the pour itself, finished it in like 3 sips so I would skip this all together. I was pleasantly surprised by the food taste, quality and price. I was expecting this to be kind of expensive and it ended up being less than my local hole in the wall Chinese place near me but better quality. I would gladly go back anytime! read more

The restaurant is so cute, the deep reds and dark tones give it such a cute vibe. The service was fast and friendly, our host was helpful and our server was friendly and helped me decide what to eat! The food, wow. Dumplings are hard to go wrong with anywhere but these were so good. The sauce on them was savory and a teeny spicy but in a balanced way. The orange chicken was very very orange fruit forward, which sounds obvious but I was still caught a bit off guard with the level. Basically biting into a chicken textured mandarin. Sesame chicken and Veggies are delicious. White rice to toss into your sauce is the perfect touch. Also, the Pomegranate Lemonade? A gem I didn't know I needed in my life! Our server brought us the wrong appetizer, no big deal, and took it back to the kitchen for the right one. He ended up bringing the wrong one back out, and said it was on him and to keep it. The manager came out a little bit later and brought us another dish we ordered, and asked why we had that on our table, when it wasn't what we ordered. (We were half way done with it at this point) The manager proceeds to take the food we were eating, off the table, and says our server shouldn't have done that, and walks away and never came back. It's just obvious we were not welcome here or the fact anyone had to serve us was a huge burden. We sat at the bar, still sitting, Victor refuses to speak with us about our experience. I confronted him personally, had to run him down as he was running away from me. I needed soy sauce and a ramekin for my sushi, I walked to him as he's walking away. Asked him for soy sauce and litterally did not even speak back to me. Just walked away, ask to speak to him again and he refuses to speak to us. We are the restaurant now, last time, rudest careless experience ever. Just wanted some soy sauce, and the food was not good either. Sushi was rolled like crap and edomame unbearable. But the manger refuses to take out feed back. Just asked the host to speak to Victor and he will not come by. It's insane, enjoy the 50 bucks, it will be the last. read more

We went in for my daughters graduation dinner. Called ahead to let them know that we will be there in 15, they told us that they couldn't take our reservation and I also couldn't go online to reserve a table because there are tables available for walk in. We get there and they tell us that it's a 45 minute wait. We waited 45 minutes and called to see if our table was ready. They told us 15 more minutes. After 15 minutes passed, they call us to tell us that it's another 45 minutes. We go in to ask them why it's going to be an hour and 45 minute wait when we were told 45 minutes from the start. We could've went to a different restaurant if they had told us that it was going to be an hour and 45 minute wait. All they kept telling us is that there's reservations. If there were reservations planned ahead, why tell us it's going to be 45 minute wait? Never going there again. The staff and the manager was so incompetent and rude. read more

We ordered P.F. Chang's for our anniversary dinner. Takeout because I had had back surgery and couldn't go out. We ordered Mongolian beef and honey, chicken, lettuce, wrap, and hot and sour soup. Everything was overcooked! The Mongolian beef was a tough and dry as could be. The honey chicken did taste like the normal honey chicken. Flavors and spices were off. The hot and sour soup had almost no broth and was still chucked full of huge pieces of pain. It was difficult to eat. The chicken wrap had a huge amount of lettuce, but the meat was also overcooked. The spices were fine, but the meat was tough. This is a pretty pricey meal for what we got. I would never go back to this location. The chefs have no clue what they're doing. read more

Brought my daughter for the first time on a Saturday night. The restaurant wasn't really that busy. Waited 10 minutes for our server to greet us after being sat at our table. She brought our food and after 40 minutes she still hadn't come back. We used the restroom (leaving a note so the table wouldn't be cleared. This has happened to us at other places.) came back to our table being cleaned and we were not done eating. The busy boy said yea, saw the note but, threw it away. Chang's , just not THIS ONE , half ass mixed and half ass cooked chicken fried rice ( how do you mess that up ) veggie rolls tasted like they microwaved them and you only get 3 , I drank my water in like the first 5 minutes and didn't get my drink refilled the whole 1hour and 30 minutes I was there , my partner ordered the lo mein noodles which tasted like they had been sitting out for like 3 hours and texture was off , even the damn sprite tasted flat and watered down , how this place is so shitty and it's located in the freakin colony blew my mind , don't waste your money there please , go to the thirsty lion across the street and you will have a much better experience trust me on this , God bless read more

Being chinese and always eating at family style restaurants, I knew not to go in with high expectations. The kids wanted chinese food and I remember eating at PF Chang's 15 years ago or so and it wasn't bad. Service was okay. We could tell she was new and was trying so no biggie. The lettuce wraps were good along with the hot and sour soup. The problem was the entrees. I had the Mongolian beef, which was probably the best dish on the table. It was just beef and sauce and green onion. I felt like there should have been some regular onion or green bean or mushrooms with the dish. My daughter had the Korean fried chicken. They came back and told us they were out of bone-in so we got the boneless. The chicken was sweet and a little soggy. Wife's lo mein had no flavor whatsoever. Son's honey crispy chicken was sweet, not crispy but taste better than the korean chicken. I felt for the price we would have been better off going to Panda Express. Would not recommend and won't make this mistake again. read more

First visit to this location as we have eaten at the Allen and Dallas location in years past. We wanted Chinese food and this location fit the bill. Excellent service all around in taking and delivering orders. We got a couple of their signature adult beverages. They offer a three-course special which we took advantage of (see photo). Plenty of leftovers so come hungry. For location it is very close to the Ferris wheel in Grandscape. Also take advantage of free parking nearby especially the underground during summer. read more
