Went last night and had a double cheeseburger. The flavor was good, but the photo on the menu along with the name made it sound huge, and it was pretty small. My wife had a salad and she said it was excellent tasting but some of the lettuce was old. I also ordered the fries and while they looked amazing, they were mediocre at best. First time at the habit. The place was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. The onion rings were excellent,very fresh and delicious. My problem was with the consistency. My husband and I ordered the exact same burger and got two different burgers. One was oozing barbeque sauce and mayo, while the other one was dry and almost no mayo or barbeque sauce. I'm not sure I want to go back if there's no consistency. But for sure if I get a hankering for onion rings that's where I'm m going. I will give them another shot so I can try the shakes, but if the inconsistency occurs again I won't go back. It'll be back to 5 guys for me. read more

The food is good - I love the onion rings and the burgers I've had there have always been pretty delicious. That being said - I found out the hard way that purchasing gift cards from here is a nightmare. First they told me they had to ring up each gift card separately. I needed 3 cards (trying to purchase for soccer coaches) so I would have to do 3 different transactions. After I did the first card, I also found out that they cannot apply cash to purchase a gift card and then let you pay the remainder on a credit card. I was trying to apply the cash I had collected from team parents and pay the rest myself, but they weren't able to let me do that. After working retail for many years, I know that this absolutely shouldn't be an issue. After all that, they couldn't get the system to work to get me the last 2 cards. I ended up going across the street and buying Jamba Juice cards for the other 2 coaches (and Jamba Juice had no problem combining 2 gift cards in one transaction and letting me pay part cash and finish with credit). Considering that the holiday season is about to begin, I highly recommend they get this figured out. read more

I recommend either the tuna sandwich or the chicken sandwich. Both are awesome. It's so hard to find good restaurants, but this is probably one of the best in Clovis. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

Normally I enjoy the Habit. Super hard to find a table but with the right riming it can be done. There have been times when a sandwhich has been bad but they are always good about fixing it. Tonight I ordered 3 of the new Chicken Caprese sandwhiches. They are suppose to have cheese. One had a full covering of cheese, 2 only had cheese on half. I took mine to the front and the manager was rude and less than helpful. She told mw they could remake it but basically that is all the cheese I will get.. I said, but there is no cheese on one half. She basically said tufd. Well not in those words but that was the idea. First rime rhis has happened but ir shouls not have. plus they have raised prices on some items. The food is delicious. Even the smell that radiates from the building as I drive by makes me want to stop and eat every time. The burgers are cooked perfectly and the fries and salads are yummy, as well. My only complaint is I think they have raised their prices. I hadn't been in a while and I was caught off guard by the cost. It is great food, but there are other burger places with great food as well, for less. Very good burgers, mushrooms is a big plus over in n out. Fries are so-so, but onion rings can be substituted.

First of all, I love their burgers! I had the Charburger with cheese. Plenty of lettuce and the rest of the stuff. The meat was very tasty with great texture. The bun was very good. I also had a side salad with thousand island dressing. Excellent dressing by the way. The place was busy at 5pm with a formed line when I got there. A good sign for me. I don't mind waiting for good food. Oh, the gals at the counter taking orders had the brightest greatest smiles I have ever seen. I enjoy that, being that I am old school and enjoy the true meaning of customer service. I noticed that when I was there at 5pm, a new shift was coming on behind the grills and they were having a team meeting with a hooooorah sound off at the end of the 'pep talk!' I like that as well. Tells me that the management believes employee morale being good! I will definitely come back and try each and every feature being offered. I liked their burger better than In & Out whic is down the street. And the Habit Charburger puts Mickey D's and Burger King to shame. read more

Not sure what the hype is about. I had double cheeseburger with fries and drink. I guess I was expecting something else. The burger reminded me of BK. The fries were passable. Turn on the A/C!! This is the second time in two weeks I've been in here and it's a sauna. I feel bad for the cooks. I know it's expensive to run, but that's part of the deal in Fresno. The Habit has the best burgers in town! The new Clovis location especially went above my expectations. I'm a big stickler for good food, good service, and a clean facility...and I can definitely say that The Habit at this location impressed me very much. The restaurant was spotless and so was the bathroom (A+). Customer service was excellent. The gentleman taking our orders was very attentive, helpful, and went out if his way to hand deliver our food even though it was busy and is typically picked up when ready. Our char burgers were delectable (expect nothing different) and it was ready quickly. Definitely recommend. Love the charburgers, but whatever you do, DO NOT get the chicken sandwich or albacore tuna sandwich. The chicken had a literally nauseating burnt taste (my wife gagged), and the fish smelled like it been cooked by the sun on a hot dumpster over a two week period. The burgers are really good though. Grilled Cheese is unseemly and disturbingly tasty. I literally order 2 kids meals just for that grilled cheese.

Well I hear they have a good burger but wouldn't know. They have very little seating room and must have a policy of allowing people to come in from the back of the line and snatch tables while their companions are in a 15 minute line waiting to make their order. While those who patiently waited their turn in line to make their orders and get their food find the tables are full of people having no food, just waiting for those still in the line yet to even order. If they were smart they would realize as people rotated through there would be seating as people finished and left, but the crowding made this impossible. When it was our time to order there were no tables and it was too cold to eat outside with our young grand daughters. We left and went down the street to In N Out where we could sit down and enjoy an equally fine burger and less expensive to boot.
