I've been a loyal customer at Deli Delicious because of their great customer service and consistently clean store. However, I've noticed an ongoing issue with food handling that concerns me. Employees frequently use the same gloves while handling different ingredients, touching surfaces like the fridge, and then going back to making sandwiches. Most recently, I placed an order ahead of time to avoid the lunch rush. When I got to work, I realized my turkey bacon sandwich was missing the bacon. I went back, and while the employee at the counter was very helpful and quickly fixed the issue, I noticed she used the same gloves she had been using for other tasks, leaving oil residue on the sandwich box and then proceeding to handle vegetables for other orders without changing gloves. I called the manager to share my concerns professionally and kindly. While she acknowledged the issue and said she'd talk to the team, I felt the response was dismissive. As someone with gut issues, proper food handling is really important to me. I truly appreciate the great customer service and cleanliness of the store, but I hope they take glove-changing and cross-contamination concerns more seriously moving forward. read more

Friday for dinner I decided to shoot over to this little gem located next to a Poki place and Starbucks. It was my friends idea and I will say the food lived up to the name and expectation! Upon walking into the establishment you were greeted by a large menu full of great choices. I opted for the Tri Tip Sandwich which was mouth watering! The eating area was kept very tidy and clean. Really good experience! Ordered online through Grubhub two sandwiches off lunch. One, a tuna avocado, sprouts and cream cheese and a turkey avocado sprouts and cream cheese mini ordered and paid. Pick up. I went in to pick it up. Very nice restaurant. Low key and laid back. Greeted by a worker and notified of a pick up. Order was ready and handed over with good day wishes! Lunchtime! Decided to give this location, rather than the one on Shaw and Armstrong a try as was on my way home. Arrived and an employee that was off was ordering food, so assumed should be good and cashier seemed engaged with her, somewhat. I step up to place my order, and I felt as though I was bothering her and I was an inconvenience based on her tone of her voice, body language, and facial expressions. As you can see from my receipt, I did not have a small order. I can somewhat understand her potential behavior, as it was just her and another person working. At one point the bread was piling up in the conveyor toaster. I now know why the coworker who was off kept asking how things were going, as they could not meet the demand of the customers coming in. The gentleman there with her had to tell others coming it would be a 15 minute wait. And there were several others waiting, as my wait ended up being 24 minutes. How they can improve and add staff to support to make sandwiches and take orders, or there will be a struggle with sustainability. read more

This is for the new Fowler location. I ordered a Turkey Bacon Avocado with no onions. Well they added the onions :( I've also ordered the same thing and asked for sprouts at other locations through the app. Ive never seen an option to add sprouts on the door dash but all the other locations that I've added the note have added sprouts. Maybe this is a new change? Here's the funny part they hand wrote a note on the recipient to "Plz add more money" next to my request. The more professional thing would be to let me know verbally when I picked up my order they couldn't full fill my request due to whatever they need to tell me or ask if I'd like to pay extra and wait for a new sandwich. I've given Deli Delicious multiple chances but unfortunately the service continues to disappoint. Almost every time I place an order, something is wrong. Either key items are missing, ingredients are incorrect, or the entire order doesn't show up at all. It doesn't matter if I order delivery or go in person, the same issues keep happening. It's frustrating to spend money and not receive what you paid for, especially when this has become a repeated issue. I haven't had prior issues but today, all I can say is WOW. I ordered a tri-tip and Jack cheese sandwich as is off their menu. It came loaded with the works, despite the menu saying it only came with meat, cheese and mayo. Then once I pulled everything I didn't want off the sandwich, only about half of the sandwich had really any kind of meat or cheese on it (see photo). Class act!! I went in today at lunch time to get an albacore tuna salad to go. (Love Deli D's ATS!) When I got back to work with my salad, I noticed my salad had no tuna on it. I returned to this location with my salad and told the gentleman behind the counter, who I placed my order with, that it was missing the tuna. He was very apologetic, moved quickly to get it corrected AND offered me a fountain drink on the house for my having to come back. WOW! Now that's a class act!
