Nice, super clean and super organized joint. Great location and plenty of parking and easy access to drive through. They do have both indoor and outdoor (with umbrellas) seating. Inside seating has booths, window bar seating, and high chair long table seating. The menu is simple and direct. Was craving for burger but saw this $10 deal so got that. Great set, 1/2 burger sandwich, chicken nuggets, and a side order of your choice (I picked fried green peas). The ingredients are fresh, tasty and well make. The combo was perfect, not too little or too much and especially do the price. Very nice. Also the staff are friendly and helpful, plus the manager, she greeted all customers walked into the place with a smile. Just a great vibe. You can taste the freshness in near beef patty as well as their vegetables . Employee: top notch customer service. I happened to order online at the wrong location and the staff took care of that right awy, without any hassles for me, as the customer. When I went to visit the drive thru a different say, staff was super nice and thoughtful to instruct customer to watch out for the curb etc at the drive thru. But I ordered two $10 special and they gave out only one fork for two $10 specials and the number of napkins were only one per bag and that was to cover just the chicken. You would think they would know to put two forks in the bag per special and a decent number of napkins (at least give out clean ones instead of having one soaked with oil from the chicken. How the mighty have fallen. This place used to have 4-5 stars. I wish I looked here before going there. The char-cheeseburger I ate today was not delicious. I was famished and ate it. Only noting that there was only one pickle, scant if any tomato, and the taste was not as expected. The burger I had today was marginally better than McDonald's or Jack in the box, BUT at twice the price. It was only later that it dawned on me what was so horribly wrong: it had no char marks nor char flavor. I was there early. Maybe 11:20? I suspect the equipment wasn't up to the job yet. The feel of the place is typical franchise hamburger spot with minimal staff and new online screens to place orders and use credit card. I guess we expected more from the "reputation " but it is just another franchise. Burgers were not unusually in any special way. Yes the buns are slightly toasted and sesame seeds on top. 4/30/2024 I usually order the Santa Barbara Cobb salad. And it's always pretty good. But this time around it was the WORST salad I've ever had. The lettuce was first off yellow....the avocado was clearly one from the bottom of the barrel because most of it was already dark, so of course the avocado didn't taste fresh or good at all. I stopped by this Habit this morning to grab lunch right when they open since it's near my aunt place. I placed my order through the Habit app and the pickup time was 10 minutes after they officially open for the day. I arrived early to the plaza this place is in and found parking just fine. I was able to see the Habit truck as well since they were getting it ready. The dine in is a decent size inside of the place and they have outdoor seating as well. They made my burger within like 5 minutes and handed it to me. But I also placed another order of chicken bites for my cousin so I had to wait for that. The person then took my burger back because he said they messed up on something and remade it. The chicken bites was then ready but they put fries in my bag as well which I didn't order so I double check with them since I didn't want to take someone else's order. This was my first time coming to this location. I had the habit before near Huntington Beach. I LOVE their salads it's good and delicious. The salad that I personally love is the Santa Barbara Cobb. This salad is crunchy and delicious. This salad has crisp shredded iceberg and Romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, blue cheese crumbles, hickory-smoked bacon, and egg, tossed in our red wine vinaigrette, topped with chargrilled chicken breast. Eh I remember the habit having better burgers than this. Maybe this was just a one time bad experience who knows.. my burger was really moist from the abundance of sauce and other liquids I guess from lettuce or something? Idk but it was soggy at the bottom so I had to remove the wrapper right away to prevent it from further soggying up. Just let all that liquid drip. It was messier than I remember as well. I thought I really liked habit burgers but I guess not. They still have the best onion rings I've ever had out of anywhere else though. We've visited the Garden Grove location several times since it opened. We love the food and having the drive-thru option is a real bonus since we tend to bring our food home. We've probably been there about 10 times and all of our meals have been delicious. My husband loves the burgers, my dad loves the chicken sandwiches, and I'm fond of either the BBQ chicken salad, the Santa Barbara salad or the Portabella Impossible Charburger. The burgers are cooked properly and juicy. I haven't heard any complaints about the chicken from dad. He keeps ordering them so I'll assume he likes them. I'm a fan of the salads. I really miss their superfoods salad but the two kinds I've been ordering recently have been fresh, tasty, and filling. We also all enjoy the sweet potato fries as well as the tempura green beans. The drive-thru has been consistently good on customer service and food order accuracy. Update: I received a response from the company after the RAW chicken incident. They want to give me a coupon to return. Even after I told them I threw away my entire meal ($30+). Put yourself in my shoes.
