A Vietnamese sandwich shop serving quesadillas? I sat...I yelped it...I love quesadillas. Walked in and ordered the pork quesadillas. Service was straightforward, no cute happy 25 year old just the boss taking orders. 8 minutes and $8 dollar spent, I had my hot breakfast. The smell was irresistible. Got in my car, opened it up, took a bite. Yep, it was fantastic! Think high end meats, grilled with a touch of lemon grass, sugar, sauce, with old school Mexican cooking techniques and every bite a flavor bomb. The quesadilla wasn't huge, maybe 10 inches. But, 10 inches were filled all the way to the edges with cheese and pork. You know how you get a quesadilla and the outer inch has nothing. Well, not here. They add a crust of parm cheese on the entire outside, so you get the crispy cheesy crust in every bite. Did I mention it's $8! Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious, with the pork slightly sweet and the beef one laden with grilled onions. We ordered them both "hot" level of spicy, and it was sooooo good. Perfect but not overwhelming for people who have a solid spiciness threshold. The baguettes came nicely roasted and had a nice crunchy crust. My beef sandwich got a little soggy as we didn't get to eat them right away, soaking up the juice/grease from the meat and toppings but the flavor was drool worthy. The service was good. A Vietnamese owned business with potentially the owner as the cashier. He seemed like a very no nonsense kind of man. He was polite as were we. I happily ate in my car. Good portion size on the fries, a little bland, but the chicken wings were crispy and I really enjoyed the sauce. Not sure what kind, a brown savory sauce with a little sweetness. Extra sauce was provided and I threw that on the fries. I got the steak and a chicken quesadilla and they were seriously good. Especially the steak it was cooked to perfection and it comes with two sides I asked for macaroni which was really delicious I've never had macaroni like this and t was like macaroni but cooked with maybe soy sauce and garlic I'm not sure but it was very good. I also got garlic fries and I asked for sauce but didn't get it so I will have to remember to try next time because there will be a next time the food was so good and the two people at the restaurant were very nice and friendly I just got food to pickup but the restaurant looked clean I will be back for sure! My go to favorite things to get is their pork and rice, which comes with white rice, grilled pork, and salad with slice tomatoes and red onions. It sounds basic, but it's actually yummy. I like how they cook their pork, you can really taste the fire. The texture isn't dry, instead it is juicy. However, there were times the pork was a bit dry and the rice was had a mushy consistent from putting too much water when cooking the rice. Also I like to get their pork quesadilla. It has a crisp cheddar crust and filling with the flavorful pork and a mixture of melted cheeses. I love drizzling extra of their hot sauce and salad dressing. Service has always been friendly and about 10 minutes for the food to come out. The interior used to be much smaller with only few tables outside to eat, but a couple years ago they took over the space of the building to the left and now it's much nicer to dine in and eat. read more

Stopped in because of the solid reviews, and ordered the grilled pork banh mi. It was ok... I was expecting a more traditional banh mi with the pickled veggies not lettuce and tomato with mayo.... So this didn't do it for me. The bread is soft though, with the crusty outside and soft inside. This place has been open and family operated since I was in high school, and it's honestly one of my top places to get banh mi. They make your food ready to order to it comes out fresh, with the salad and dressing still cold and crunch, while the grilled meat is well seasoned, tender, and hot. The baguette they use is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside too, so none of that cutting the inside of your mouth stuff! Got the banh mi thit heo for $7, but there's a 65 cent credit card fee so just be aware of that. I normally don't like tomatoes or dressing but I love everything in the banh mi, it pairs so well with however they marinate the meat too. I usually always go next door to Nok's Kitchen and often see this place with people. Never really knew what their menu looked like until I looked it up on Yelp one day. I gave it a try and got the grilled beef salad and it was good! With a drink, it totaled up to about $17. They have a big spacious dining area in the back but nothing fancy. Was looking for a good sandwich today so after checking out some reviews I decided to stop here. I ordered the grilled beef with extra meat and a side of garlic tater tots. The sandwich was very good with tomato, lettuce, and grilled onions along with the beef. The meat was tender and everything including the roll all went well together. The tots were good but next time I'll just get a bag of chips. The place was very clean with Indoor and some outdoor seating. The sandwiches come with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and onion (instead of the usual pickled carrots and daikon). Their grilled beef and pork sandwiches are great, and the vegetarian sandwich is so underrated in my opinion -- I used to get it all the time when I didn't eat meat. I remember during 2017 when I was barely a Sophomore in high school and I would always visit this "tiny" banh mi shop after school ended with my pals. The owner was always welcoming and talkative and we had a blast interacting with him. Fast forward a few years and they've expanded into the space next door. The quesadilla is your traditional quesadilla with the cheese and pork (see picture, I lifted up the tortilla so you can see all the pork underneath) and the banh mi has a twist with the pickled red onions (not pictured) which I think is a great touch to the banh mi! Great flavor and no fat, as quoted. with the exception of some pieces that were burnt. Do not like burnt meat. Yes, I am a picky eater. :) And burnt meat is not good for us anyway. So I came back again last weekend and they were closed. Bummer. The sign on the door said that they are off for a week. Since I was in the area yesterday, thought I'd try again. Was so happy someone answered the phone. I ordered the grilled pork bank mi again. The young man remembered my order, without me saying, he asked "you don't want mayo, right?". How amazing is that? I've tried their grilled beef and grilled pork banh mis, and both are so delicious! They are different from your typical banh mi as they're filled with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and your choice of meat instead of the typical daikon and carrot. I love them!
