    Pork quesadilla
    Colette K.

I was siting in the their parking lot at 9:30am waiting for one of the other restaurants to open when I saw the word QUESADILLA. "What?" I asked myself. A Vietnamese sandwich shop serving quesadillas? I sat...I yelped it...I love quesadillas. Walked in and ordered the pork quesadillas. Service was straightforward, no cute happy 25 year old just the boss taking orders. 8 minutes and $8 dollar spent, I had my hot breakfast. The smell was irresistible. Got in my car, opened it up, took a bite. Yep, it was fantastic! Think high end meats, grilled with a touch of lemon grass, sugar, sauce, with old school Mexican cooking techniques and every bite a flavor bomb. The quesadilla wasn't huge, maybe 10 inches. But, 10 inches were filled all the way to the edges with cheese and pork. You know how you get a quesadilla and the outer inch has nothing. Well, not here. They add a crust of parm cheese on the entire outside, so you get the crispy cheesy crust in every bite. Did I mention it's $8! Yes sir, you are on my cravings list and I will see your hot, crispy, flavorful round face in my face soon.

Stopped by SIP next door for some coffee. It was a raining this day. Walked inside and looked at the menu and was intrigued. We love to spend our money in the community and try local businesses. The service was good. A Vietnamese owned business with potentially the owner as the cashier. He seemed like a very no nonsense kind of man. He was polite as were we. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a cool wet morning and the ambiance was chill and a bit dark[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered 2 Grilled Beef Banh Mi and Garlic Fries Hot Sauce on the side boy that hot sauce shmack!!! Soo good. This was an affordable meal and will definitely come back. This made our morning. Thank you for being here.

2025.08.29 Friday 10:15am fairly uncrowded at those times. Small business with owner working hard. Ring the small bell, he may be cooking and hasn't seen you yet. Ordered: 5 pc chicken wing and garlic butter fries special $7.95 and a char grilled pork banh mi $7.75? Price point is excellent!! Eat it FRESH. Can't speak for time lapse of delivery or drive home. I happily ate in my car. Good portion size on the fries, a little bland, but the chicken wings were crispy and I really enjoyed the sauce. Not sure what kind, a brown savory sauce with a little sweetness. Extra sauce was provided and I threw that on the fries. Pork banh mi was solid, 12 inches, cut in half, good crispy exterior on the baguette and good amount of protein. If you like extra veg, it was on the light side but it didn't bother me. I thought the packaging was thoughtful and I enjoyed everything. I'd love to come back and try other things!

    Ribeye Steak with Macaroni
    Michael A.

Soooo good. I decided to try this because I do t really like the food at the tea/coffee places I eat at so I wanted something good. I got the steak and a chicken quesadilla and they were seriously good. Especially the steak it was cooked to perfection and it comes with two sides I asked for macaroni which was really delicious I've never had macaroni like this and t was like macaroni but cooked with maybe soy sauce and garlic I'm not sure but it was very good. I also got garlic fries and I asked for sauce but didn't get it so I will have to remember to try next time because there will be a next time the food was so good and the two people at the restaurant were very nice and friendly I just got food to pickup but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant looked clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will be back for sure! Try this if u want good food in Westminster area

I have to say the grill pork sandwich was very delicious. I ordered this thinking it be a fast order however it took a bit to get made. The wait time was worth the taste. I ate the sandwich like a fat kid loves cake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I say the place is lay back and chill also clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would come again next time around and try there ribs.

Pork and rice and their Pork quesadilla
    Jayson T.

Tasty sandwiches is not a place that just serves sandwiches, they have many other options as well! When I want some fast and "tasty" I come here. My go to favorite things to get is their pork and rice, which comes with white rice, grilled pork, and salad with slice tomatoes and red onions. It sounds basic, but it's actually yummy. I like how they cook their pork, you can really taste the fire. The texture isn't dry, instead it is juicy. However, there were times the pork was a bit dry and the rice was had a mushy consistent from putting too much water when cooking the rice. Also I like to get their pork quesadilla. It has a crisp cheddar crust and filling with the flavorful pork and a mixture of melted cheeses. I love drizzling extra of their hot sauce and salad dressing. Service has always been friendly and about 10 minutes for the food to come out. The interior used to be much smaller with only few tables outside to eat, but a couple years ago they took over the space of the building to the left and now it's much nicer to dine in and eat.

    Banh mi bo nuong
    Danny N.

Nowadays their banh mi bo nuong is 7.56 after taxes due to inflation. Thanks Obama. Wait are we still doing that? Jk anyway the food is still just as good as it was back when it was 4.00 per sandwich. The meat has so much flavour I still recommend giving this place a try. You have to wait a bit for your food cause they make it to order. That's a good thing! Still my favorite banh mi place to date. I should try their pork again.

Had to come back and try the sandwich , and it did not disappoint! Soooo good . We also got the Mac and beef again , just as good as the first time, Definitely a spot to check out if you're in the area.

Stopped in because of the solid reviews, and ordered the grilled pork banh mi. It was ok... I was expecting a more traditional banh mi with the pickled veggies not lettuce and tomato with mayo.... So this didn't do it for me. The bread is soft though, with the crusty outside and soft inside. At first glance the place looks tiny with just a hallway and register to order, but they have a whole separate dining section where you can sit down and eat.

Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, we ordered it medium. Chifa Fried Rice (with Filet Mignon)- fried rice had plenty of wok heat aroma. Next time if we ordered both the fried rice and saltado fries, we might opt for a different protein rather than both being Filet Mignon. Garlic Butter Prawns -shrimp had the perfect snap and cooked perfectly. Sauce paired well with the rice, rich and decadent. Rib Bone Soup -sooo good! Beef ribs were fall off the bone tender. I really recommend the pear salad because the arugula, burrata, the dressing with the Korean pear is so refreshing. One downside is that they're a bit too pricey now so I don't go as much as I did before.

I love that there's a thrift store in the same plaza to keep me company when there is a wait though. It's a cute spot for a nice date but can also be a casual dinner with friends! Our server was so energetic and attentive the entire time. For our appetizer we started with the cheesy bread. Omfg I'm not even exaggerating, I inhale it EVERY SINGLE TIME. The cheese pull is incredible and the honey sauce drizzled all over adds such a nice accent to the truffle flavor! After my friend and I basically inhaled the entire thing, they brought out the crab roe pasta from their seasonal summer menu. The flavor was so creamy, crab-filled, and delicious!! My friend and I each got our own and we still pretty much licked the plates clean. I would highly recommend trying that dish and I really hope they make it a permanent part of their menu even after summer ends!

Came to this spot for my wife's birthday dinner. I figured it should be pretty solid since it's owned by KEI (same company that owns Sup Noodle Bar). Overall, all the foods are pretty good, nothing stuck out as absolutely bad but I will say the pork tomahawk, seafood malfadine and mentaiko pizza were the most underwhelming, especially considering some of the hype behind some reviews. To be fair, I'm not a crazy seafood lover so take it with a grain of salt. My father in law loved the mentaiko pizza. The pork was cooked well and tender but the sweet potato puree just was not it for me. Good thing at least my kids liked it. Seafood malfadine was just honestly somewhat bland, especially when you have dishes like the spicy miso carbonara which was my favorite thing there by far. The burrata caprese appetizer was also a complete hit as everyone in my party loved it--my 5, 3, and 1 year old devoured it. Service is very attentive and they made sure to give a small chocolate birthday slice with candle as well to help us celebrate my wife so I appreciated that. There was this blueberry dessert we also ordered that was fire but I forgot to take a pic and don't remember the name Biggest con as to why it would not be a regular spot I would frequent is price-to-worth it ratio is not there for me. Our total for 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 babies was over $500. Now granted we did order lemonade drinks and like 1 too many pastas (had gotten 3 seafood malfadine) but even if I conservatively subtract $100 that's still over $60/adult. So while the food is good, personally I would say it's not good enough at that price point. But nonetheless a good experience!

I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

I did like that parking was not an issue as there were many spots. service was pretty good. the dishes were small so be prepared to spend about at least $40+ each. -Hamachi crudo: nothing too special about it. only 5 pcs of hamachi. -Pork jowl: expensive dish considering the pork jowl were cut so small and portion was little (we had more lettuce cups than the pork itself) -Dashi pesto: this one was good. unfortunately, there was only 3 scallops. for a $30 dish, it prob needed another scallop. -Vongole: another good pasta dish. the sauce used was great. pricy dish however. -Miso bacon carbonara: this one seemed like it was their most popular dish. very creamy. tasted pretty good. I liked the egg yolk to make it creamier. -Momonoki chicken wing: don't bother. not worth it. overall, they've seemed to nail it on the pasta dishes. I liked all of the 3 we ordered. we were still hungry after the meal but ran out of budget.

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!
