They steal from customers here and may rip you off by not upgrading your fries to a larger size even after you pay extra for a bigger drink AND fries. Prices are very high for fast food. Both my sister's regular (small) fries and my medium fries WERE EXACTLY THE SAME PORTION SIZE AND PACKAGING. Yes I was given small fries when I paid extra for medium. I ordered a larger size that costs a few dollars extra and having not been here in over 10 years I thought the fries I got were medium like I paid extra for. Later I thought hmm that was a small serving so when my sister ordered a regular (small) combo I noticed that was the same size I was given. I was pissed. When we went it was the same employee (possibly manager) both times so I'm surprised how unethical he is to gyp customers that way by just upgrading the drink and not the fries too like he's supposed to even though it costs more. I don't trust that employee anymore and hope he's reprimanded for cheating and in a way stealing from customers. Because of this employee cheating me I'll go to Del taco where they have great fries and I don't have to worry I won't get what I paid for. I know from other fast food places the different fries sizes have different packaging to hold the different quantities at this dump the small and "medium" were both in the small white paper pouch so yeah the same quantity. For some damn reason, I love coming to this Wienerschnitzel location. I guess I like the scenery here. I was driving down Brookhurst Street when I saw that Wienerschnitzel was now serving veggie dogs so I knew I had to check it out. There are 3 different types of veggie dogs to choose from and I chose the Backyard Veggie Dog which comes with pickle, tomato, American cheese, mustard and ketchup. It tasted ok and there wasn't anything that really stood out about it. I think the taste could've been improved if the hotdog was grilled or fried instead of boiled. I also ordered the jalapeño poppers which are one of my favorite items from Wienerschnitzel. They're crispy, cheesy, savory and taste even better with the ranch. For dessert, I got the Apple Jacks dipped cone which was delicious. I really liked the crisp from the cereal bits and how smoothly the crunchy shell melted. There are a few tables available outside to dine in. Since most customers order food to go at this establishment, there is always a good amount of parking spaces available. read more

When you want an all beef hotdog...... I love that this location is consistent with fast service and quality check of the food. I ordered my regular go to cravings with a mint Oreo cookie shake. The all beef hotdog on a pretzel bun is Yummy in my tummy. The inside of the store is clean and organized. The workers are always friendly to me when I order. The only suggestion is the drive lot out to the street is very dangerous. When you are trying to leave the drive thru to turn right onto Garden Grove, the cars turning right also rom the Main Street can hit you if you are not defensive driving. Didn't expext that i would actually enjoy my visit. Most fast food places either got things too salty or too dry, but wienerschnitzel tastes alright. The wiener is okay. Kinda enjoyable, even. The food is always served super quickly, and the employees always have a good attitude when serving me. There's never really a long line of cars here either during the day; they serve each customer politely and manage to keep service at a high speed. I admire their ability to work smoothly, efficiently and above all, with proper customer service. All that matters is that for some reason you either hate yourself or are just down on your luck that night and this place hits. Couldn't tell the difference between the angus beef dog and chili cheese dog because both looked exactly the same to the point I was questioning if I paid more for the same hotdog. To make things worse, the boxes weren't marked to distinguish between the two. It's been a while since I've been to Wienerschnitzel but the chili was extremely salty. The hot dog was also really salty, and it just made the whole thing worse. The junkyard dog, although also crazy salty, tasted better because the fries, mustard and onions helped out a bit. It was a late night and my siblings and I were starving and wanted something to eat that was quick and would satisfy our cravings. We luckily found a coupon that would definitely help us out a bit because who doesn't like to save a little money! To our surprise, this location had recently changed owners and starting doing things a bit differently. When you go through the drive-thru, they will take your order as usual, then a worker would come out to tell you the total and you pay before you get to the window, and once you get to the window, they give you the food and you leave. This process is MUCH FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENT! We used a coupon which gave us a ton of food: 8 chili dogs, 4 corn dogs, and 4 small fries. Fries- undercooked, soggy and disappointing Corn dogs- undercooked, mushy breading when you bite into it Chili cheese dogs- barely any chili and barely any cheese.
